La Cantera occupies a large property located behind a strip mall. It's not easy to find as there are no signs off the main road. The complex has a large Olympic size pool that gets fairly busy during weekend and evening family swim time. Adjacent to the large pool is a kiddy pool and tucked further away a hot tub. There are multiple well kept tennis courts and a small gym. Multiple instructors are available. They do serve very basic hot dogs and melted cheese sandwiches. The food is not that great. Beer is available.

Members here for several years. Use pool only. Just saw a little girl, maybe 2? Running toward the adult pool area by herself. Didn't really think anything of it unti I saw the lifeguard going after her from his chair located on the other side of the large pool. Made me grateful that he is here and always looking after everyone, even those not in the pool. Great job! And thank you!
