My go-to spot for tennis! Lots of spacious courts and street side parking. Definitely a smaller park and playground, but still nestled in the corner of the Arcadia residential neighborhood. Theres been so many tennis courts that have been revamped for pickleball, fueling the tennis vs pickleball debate, but I love how despite all the others changing, this one has stayed to be dedicated to teaching tennis and promoting the sport. LOL!

I was looking for a park for my nieces and nephews to play in, right before we were at a very sad tiny park. This was a better size with two playgrounds. No one else was there so they had the park to themselves. Parking was easy and there were benches that I could sit at and watch them. They had fun so I was happy with the park.

Small park in Arcadia! The size is perfect for the neighborhood. Pros: 1. Love that they have a small fence around the playground area to prevent the kids from running out to the street easily. 2. Two play structures both with slides and climbing ladders. 3. Two tennis courts Cons: 1. No public bathrooms! Make sure your kids go before they come. 2. Gets pretty busy on the weekends.

I used to walk from my house (Myrtle) to this park with my dog (R.I.P. Brownie) then obviously back to my house. He used to love watching people/ children run around and play on the playground! I would take him after school/ work, so it'll get really dark. The only complaint I have is, where are the lights?! They need to put more lights around. I know parents won't allow their children to stay after dark, but it'll just be more safe. Til this day, I still see people playing tennis during the evening and it gets so incredibly dark. I never actually see anyone cleaning or walking around to clean, but this park is so well kept! So clean every time I came!

Love, love, love this parque. Small park, but doable. Take ur kids there & you won't deny thee. Not much activities for teens but hey, a nice tennis court. Tucked away on the corner of Longden & 6th Avenues. Nice park in a nice area. P.S. Bicentennial means 200 years but I don't think it is. Don't let the name fool you. As of 2013, I think it goes way back to a time before CA was founded.

Great park. Local quiet amazing. Two tennis courts and some slides and things for the little ones. You will thoroughly enjoy the serene nature of the park.

This park is on the corner of 6th Ave and Longden Ave. Has 2 tennis courts, a toddler swing set and 2 jungle gyms--one for bigger kids, and one for smaller kids. I like how the turf is rubberized under the swings to cushion any falls. The jungle gym areas have sand underneath them, which is also nice---gritty, but cleaner feeling than bark. There's also a little covered pavilion with a water fountain, picnic tables, and a grill. Not a huge park, but bigger than some of the little parks you find tucked away in this city. I'd give it an extra star if it had sun shade tarps or if there weren't a homeless looking man sleeping on the picnic table bench one of the first times I went there with my toddlers. Still, I sometimes choose to drive here over parks that are closer to me.
