INDOOR PICKLEBALL
On Wednesday, January 10th, the Whiting Center was fortunate to have volunteers from the Pickleball Club present a clinic for Bear Valley students on a minimum day. We extend our gratitude to Rhonda Arbolante, Steve Campbell, Mike Magie, Carol Wilson, Ron Wilson, and Brandon Leonard for generously volunteering their time to teach the students of Bear Valley the sport of Pickleball.
As part of the club's commitment to giving back to the community, they organized the clinic to encourage school-age kids to get involved in the club. The event was attended by adults and children ranging from elementary to high school. The students were taught basic skills, eye-hand coordination, paddle control, rules, and scoring. They were also given the opportunity to play a game with the adult volunteers. Everyone had a great time, including the club members.
