La Cienega Tennis Center is a fantastic place for tennis enthusiasts! There are plenty of courts, all in great condition, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I purchased an annual membership for just $24, which gives me access to this amazing tennis center. The court rental fee is $14 per hour, which I find very reasonable for such a high-quality facility. A great spot for practice and games—I highly recommend it!
Tahseena Kahn: ★★★★★
Great place to play tennis! The membership is only $10 -$20 per year. You can play for free. You can also practice with a machine for $10 per hou . Classes are $200 for 10 weeks
Dharmendra Singh: ★★★★
Great place to play tennis and pickleball They can add some fence between the pickle ball courts Parking is covered for 2 hours
Melina Thomas: ★★★★★
I would advise anyone going to this tennis center to NOT use the “Pro” Tark. He was not only rude, and disrespectful, he was also dangerous. I left the 1.5 hour game after 30 minutes when he drilled a ball directly at my head before I was ready and when I moved out of the way in shock he yelled “live ball”! He was not waiting for balls to be cleared OR for points to be completed for that matter before drilling the next ball. His behavior was bizarre and dangerous and I would recommend using any other pro besides him!! Haley the manager at the facility called me today and was very apologetic, credited my account, made me feel heard, welcomed and respected! She has revitalized my enthusiasm for playing at this facility and I am very appreciative of her. Great business!!
ed tomines: ★★★★★
I used the parking lot for an event at the Saban Theater. Lots of parking, and red/green lights hanging above each space so you can figure out where open spaces are. Lot closes at 11PM.
Kees Keesler: ★★★★
Nice parking garage.. EV charging spots, and 2 hours free

Always clean and well maintained. Parking says 2 hrs free but I've been there longer than 2 hrs and haven't been charged extra.

La Cienega Tennis Center is the best place to play tennis in Beverly Hills.
Manish D.: ★★★★
this place is the best tennis center in Beverly Hills. 2hr parking free, decently courteous staff, a pro shop with a small Lounge area and small snack selection. Downside is the pickle ball courts in the middle of the facility. The sounds echo to other courts where people are playing tennis and it is SUCH an annoying sound. Street noise can get loud during peak traffic time on the La Cienega street side courts. It’s so busy, you need to book 7 days out during peak playing times.
eric sarquis: ★★★★★
Really nice tennis courts. The people at the front office are always helpful and nice and happy. The security people are also very friendly. Everyone who goes there is also very polite and respectful. Not too open or friendly though. The courts are in good conditions, and there's free parking. It's always very fun to go there and play.
Marko Budrovac: ★★★★★
I love this club! For the small yearly fee, this place offers great courts, easy booking system and good atmosphere. The pro shop offers stringing service as well as newest tennis gear. All the staff is very professional and knowledgeable and parking is free for 2 hours, I believe
Grace Enrico: ★★★★★
Huge area to park your car before heading to Beverly Hills Tennis Courts on the first floor.
David C.: ★★★★★
What’s not to love...great rates and 2 hours free parking, well maintained courts. I’d rather pay to play without the hassle of waiting for a court. It would be cool if they had an app to link up players, maybe in the future.
Realtor Jeffery Martin Real Estate Service (RealtorJeffery): ★★★★★
Clean place with parking garage shaded parking, courts were in great shape and loved the view while smacking some balls around. Will definitely be back, love the fact that you can reserve a court vs first come first serve.

Nice place to play tennis in Beverly hills. Nice court with two hours free parking. And it's only $12 per hour. Fun place to go play tennis on the weekend.

Great surfaces, location & city staff. The pro shop is hit or miss & the nice sitting area outside isn't so nice anymore...especially for Beverly Hills. However, all things considered. I have a great time there.

One of the best tennis court in LA. Amazing parking lot at ground level, which is free for few hours.

$12/hr for a court almost takes the elitism out of tennis. (Until you realize that Beverly Hills residents only have to pay $8/hr *breaths a sigh of relief*)

Great value for the location. Very private atmosphere and easy parking. Always a pleasant experience.
Lynn V.: ★★★★★
Great place for tennis or pickleball guaranteed if you reserve ahead of time. Parking underneath 2 hours for free. There's lots of lights and even a lounge to chill while you wait. Very clean. Pickleball courts are more makeshift from a tennis court so lines can get be confusing with different colors. Overall, solid place for a tennis or pickleball workout - just wish they had more benches in the pickleball area.
Lily W.: ★★★★★
### 2023 review 3/100 ### 5-star if only for the FREE 2-hour parking! And instructors are great too ;-) 3rd week of winter break is a good time to do a tennis camp and keep kiddo busy before school starts.

Great courts with good lighting for evening play. I found these courts and tennis partners on PlayTennisLA

Visiting from out of town and really enjoyed playing here. Lots and lots of courts. Would recommend reserving a court. Can rent a racket for 5 dollars. Clean and enclosed courts.
Q D.: ★★★★★
Great facility with plenty of well kept courts and affordable rates. Can't wait to get back!
Manish D.: ★★★★★
Clean courts, good coaches, and easy parking (2hrs free). Love this place. I wish the benches were on both sides of the court to use depending on where the shade is during day play... or add an umbrella type overhang over the benches. And now due to pickleball surge, there are more pickleball courts dedicated to people for the next 3 months:Tennis Court #1: This is the new location for pickleball courts 1, 2, 3 and 4.4 pickleball courts are dedicated for reservations.Tennis Court #8:This is the new location for pickleball courts 5, 6, 7 and 8.4 pickleball courts available for reservations, and the continued location for pickleball classes and lessons through Beverly Hills Tennis.Tennis Court #12:This is the new location for tennis ball machine rentals.Tennis Courts #13-#14:These courts are now dedicated for tennis play.I don't mind pickleball, but man who decided to use wiffleball balls and that damn sound they make on the paddles... wouldn't the beginner tennis balls have been better??Anyway, love the courts here. Finally LED LIGHTS! ALL courts are now awesome except for sound on the streets during heavy traffic or protests. Some of the coaches could be more involved in teaching better, but it is what it is. If you want to be left alone and enjoy playing, great place. 2hr parking free.

I love this place. I take weekly group classes and also Privates with Ken. He is the best and has improved my game immensely.
Anita T.: ★★★★★
I've been coming here for tennis ever since I started picking tennis back up during covid (because what else is there to do!?)Things to note about this tennis court:- The courts are nice, clean, and well-maintained- Scheduling is easy online- Membership and rates are reasonable ($12/hr for non-residents)- Parking is free! Will continue to come back!
Jeremy S.: ★★★★
Decent public facility that appeared to be reasonably well maintained. The front desk was a little disorganized, but we got to our reserved court on time. By having a strict reservation system they avoid the classic public court problem of impatient newcomers that are eager to shoo you off your court. Huge parking garage under the courts and a locker room/bathroom. Not glamorous, but better than any public facility in San Francisco, though maybe the soon-to-be-redone GG courts will compete.
Alex D.: ★★★★★
Upgraded court lights to LED's! No more warm up time for the lights! Instant ON!! So nice!! Bright, but not to the point where it will blind you! Great upgrade!! Playing in the evening now is awesome!! Clean, well maintained courts. Just having residents use the courts help keep it in pristine condition and not worn out due to groves of people.Courteous staff and pros. Lounge area near entrance very comfortable for those waiting for a court or just resting before going home.Pro shop is a bit sparse, so bring what you need.
Mmp M.: ★★★★
I live two blocks from here so the convenience is 4 stars. Reservations can be tough bc it's busy but love it. Clean, nice staff, and the people that play here seem to be great too. I usually walk here but they have two hours (free) parking.
Minnow N.: ★★★★★
We have played at several public courts in LA and have given up on the free courts. The time wasted waiting or going super early cuts into our recreation time and we end up giving up and not playing. It's worth the $12 per hr fee to reserve a court especially at Beverly Hills Tennis . There are other public courts you can pay for but the court quality and ease of parking are no where near as good. The staff are friendly and have adhered to the LADPH recommendations for covid safety which I entirely appreciate. The courts are free of leaves and are clean. The lights at night are also well lit. The last two courts at the bottom are not great, has some superfluous lines for classes I imagine. Parking is also free and abundant. Making a reservation online is easy. Overall a great and consistent court. They seem to offer instruction as well although I have not tried any of them. There are sometimes a select few patrons who are more rowdy and in once instance brought a loud wireless speaker to play music. But overall most everyone is respectful and adheres to COVID safety.
Carolyn K.: ★★★★★
Best tennis courts! Best instructors! The best! Doesn't get any better. There is free parking available. They have a proshop with drinks, snacks, food, rackets, tennis wear, etc. Courts are amazing, really well kept. I take the adult group classes- I take a few each semester. My favorite instructors are Drew, Sean and Josh. This place is my second home! Love!Beverly Hills residents get a discount- I think around $9 for an hour of tennis. Non-residents if I'm not mistaken is $12 an hour. Must book in advanced by calling or online.
Joey B.: ★★★★★
Courts are spacious and well maintained. Lighting at night isn't so great. We typically try to book mornings. The pricing is a bit higher than other places but to be expected in Beverly Hills. Parking is great. The lot under the facility is free and wide open during the earlier weekend hours. Would not know about other times.Been coming here for about 4 years now and never had any issues with the lady who handles reservations like the other reviewers. The lady at the window and the people working the pro-shop have always been friendly to my friends and I.Booking in advance is crucial. This facility gets booked up very quickly.
Don G.: ★★★★
Great place to play with clean courtsJust feel it would be a little bit better that's why it's only 4 stars and not 5I will definitely be back here Cause the people are nice and it's all about playing tennis
Sam B.: ★★★★★
I LOVE this place. Pretty blue and green tennis courts, a really comfy and classy waiting area, friendly and talented staff, lots of classes (great leagues and camps for jrs.), pros, usta tournaments, great pro shop, and I didn't even mention the convenience of the free parking lot underneath the courts. The courts are also all facing in the correct direction and are full sized. Bathrooms are nice and clean :) Only a few caveats, as nothing is perfect, it can get sunny on these courts as there is little shade. Bring a hat and sunglasses during the day and don't forget to apply lots of sunscreen. The outside water fountain water isn't that great (warm water). The best fountain is inside near the pro shop (nice and cold and water comes out high). Beverly Hills Tennis is everything a tennis center should be!
Anne G.: ★★★★★
Beverly Hills Tennis scores all five stars!!! Vyas is a five star Pro and my absolute favorite lifetime coach, for sure!!!! He has an incredible eye for identifying and communicating the mechanics that will improve your game. He's super nice too! BHT offers a variety of popular classes and a great Kid's Camp. A private vendor runs the pro shop and they are fabulous-very professional and sensitive to the needs of the customer. Courts are clean and well lighted. Environment is clean and safe. Parking is ideal. I highly recommend BHT for players of all ages-it's a fun place everyday!
James S.: ★★★★
Have had all good experiences here -- except for the time some teen smashed a volley at my neck :) Ice is available here...Booking a court is straightforward and easy. Parking is easy. The prices aren't crazy. The staff is friendly, and seems on top of things. And there's even a day camp for kids (half or full day) that is getting thumbs up from my representative. BH Tennis might be close to a 5 star. It's at least 4 stars. I do like it here. And if you want to play with a 4.1 - 4.5 rated player like me --- give a shout!
Sat Y.: ★★★★
Came here to play a tournament. (And I won!)It was my first time playing on these courts, and I thought they were pretty good.Clean courts, nets are the correct height and tight, and fence on all four sides. What more could you ask for?I played on court 7, court 13, and court 16.Court 7 was really nice. We were right next to the main walkway, so spectators had an easy view of our match. It helped me because I play better when there are spectators, even if they are cheering for the other side.Courts 13 and 16 were so-so. These were corner courts right off Gregory and people couldn't watch us play. Court 13 was pretty dirty with ball fuzz clumps, but otherwise okay.Court 16 was on the corner of Gregory and La Cienega, so it was hard hearing each other. Luckily, we didn't have score disputes, so it was fine. We laughed about it.The only gripe I have...the benches! There is only one bench per court, which is pretty uncomfortable if you're playing an unpleasant player...you have to share the bench.I would prefer benches on opposite sides. Or at least two benches. The bathrooms are super clean. There is parking underneath the courts, but on weekends it's pretty tight.Huge cars would inconsiderately park in two spots. I drive a Honda del Sol and I had trouble, so I don't know what normal-sized car people do.

still playing here at least once a week. i will say that *nearly* all the people who do the reservations/ money are wonderful people. Harris & Sandra are the bomb. same goes for the coaching staff - I know most of them now, and I know who I can relate to best when it comes to my game. their ball machine was out of order for like 6 months - but I think they finally got a new one, I just haven't had a chance to use it yet. I've been playing here for just over a year now. I've been taking lessons on week nights and playing with friends on weekends. The coaches I've met and have worked with are all fantastic - the staff that works in the office & pro shop are great as well. Parking is free (I have never been charged, it's 2 hours free, but I know I've been there longer at times...)The courts are clean and only once did I see a light post out. The ball machine is kind of hard to set up, so I always ask for help - no probs. The group lessons are very reasonably priced and there is something for everyone - adult, kid, beginner, advanced player. I started as a total beginner in group lessons one year ago - and now I can keep up with intermediate players anywhere I go. I finally found a sport I love - and I know there is a great staff here to help me every step of the way.
Charlie C.: ★★★★★
Great staff. Place may not always have courts available so you're better off with a membership to get advance reservation access. Courts are nice priced for the hour and there's always parking. Place is always clean. I've been coming here for 20 years.
Amber G.: ★★★★★
I take lessons here from 2 pros and it's such a great place! Everyone is so great!! BUT people need to understand that the court reservation desk is run by the city not the tennis shop! So don't complain on here because it gives the pro shop a bad name.I want to give Hally Cohen a big 2 thumbs up for being a kick ass director. She keeps everything running to smoothly and did an amazing job with the celebrity tennis tournament this weekend.
Ming L.: ★★★★★
I was just here the other day checking it out as I'm totally new in town. I really like the facilities here. Would like to ask if anyone would like to play with me (single) during 9/27 - 9/31 during 12pm to 6pm (any 1 or 2 hours would do)? My NTRP rating is about 3.75. Looking forward to hearing from any tennis fans.
Luis H.: ★★★★
Always a court available. Many great staff but some difficult. Super fun place to play tennis and very commitment. Beverly Hills sure knows how to make tennis court organized and fun.
Laurie B.: ★★★★★
Perfection! I LOVE this place. Clean courts, friendly staff. It's just beautiful and such a joy to play there. It feels like a private club but so easy to get in and out (free parking). I just can't say enough about it - it really made me get back into playing tennis. THANK YOU!!!
Jana C.: ★★★★★
I admit it - I'm a tennis nut! It didn't start that way. Like most of us...I played in high school and then pretty much abandoned my racket in my parents garage alongside my dusty old yearbooks when I flew the coop for college. But gyms aren't my bag and I thought I'd try and find a way to have fun while I worked out. Wasn't sure how to get back in. I mean, you can't exactly play alone! So a quick google search and I found the BH Tennis Center website and signed up for my first clinic. That was 2 years ago and perhaps it would be too romantic of me to just say...They had me at hello...but they kinda did! Several clinics later, I've built up a slew of tennis friends (all at my level, which is key). I've taken privates, played on teams, USTA Leagues, Tourneys (Tournaments, for the newbies), and still occasionally drop into occasional clinics. But best of all, we've put together our own weekly group that gets together for fun play throughout the week and weekends.Sorry, I'm digressing here. The point of this review was to be about BHTC. Basically, we call it "The Club". Clearly, it 's not. These are public courts, people. Anyone can reserve courts (get yourself a card for ease and if you live in BH, you actually get a few bucks off the court fees and can book courts - just call in - up to 7 days in advance). But the organization, the pros, the pro shop and the feeling up there (it's above a big parking lot - I'm sure you've all driven by it a million times - at the corner of Olympic on La Cig (that's what all the cool cats are calling La Cienega, by the way) is just very "club" like. Not in the sense that it's exclusive - exactly the opposite actually. I've found all the people up there to be really friendly. And the people aren't just Beverly Hills people - they're from all over LA. I know a bunch of people who even drive from the valley?! Don't get me wrong, don't show up and expect to just find someone to hit with (this isn't a golf course!), but you can very easily meet people and those people are pretty much always looking to play...so you can built up a network pretty quickly! The main one on La Cig (you're learning, right?) is pretty big - 16 courts. Bathrooms are slightly above a public park restroom...but you've come to play tennis, not primp! But there are 4 more courts at the Roxbury Park (further West on Olympic), if that's easier for you. At the La Cig one, don't be confused by the parking (it was a bit intimidating the first time). You enter the parking lot from La Cig (headed South ONLY - there's a median and you can't turn in from the Northbound lanes). Grab your ticket and park (it's like most public BH lots - its free for the first 2 hours...but in 2 years of playing, I've only once been actually charged for going over the 2 hours - so don't worry about that). Walk to the South side of the lot and you'll see to the left a small opening in the gate - make a quick right and around a corner you'll see the stairs that lead you up. At the top of the stairs make a left and there's the court attendant to book/pay/get your courts. You can also rent ball machines up there too (although I've never done that). The pro shop is small, but has the immediate necessities...cold water, overgrip, powerbars, etc... as well as standard pro-shop fare: clothes, rackets, stringing and snacks for those really crazy days! The "club" arranges tournaments every few months too (check out the website for details) - so you can seriously work out your competitive needs! I mean let's just be honest, if you're an adult playing tennis, you're competitive, right? Nothin' wrong with that :-)Beverly Hills Tennis Center: It's all the benefit of a 'club' at public park pricing :-) can't beat it!http://beverlyhillstennis.com/ ***If anyone wants some hints on which clinics or pros to try, I'd be happy to give you my two cents. But I'm not Perez.... no need to publicly diss! Shoot me a message and I'll hit you back!
Natasha L.: ★★★★★
This place is freakin awesome..The best and most beautiful tennis courts in LA!In 2007 I was looking for a way to get back into tennis after playing back in the day in high school, and came across their clinics. I signed up, and never looked back. The instructors there are all great teachers, fun and friendly with lots of personality. After going there regularly, it's easy to meet people to play with and feels very much like a small community, a "club" even. The courts are beautiful (did i say that already?), extremely well-maintained and very well-lit. Well worth the newly raised price of $11/hr on nights and weekends for non BH residents (slightly cheaper on weekdays). I would definitely recommend paying $15 for the membership card to be able to make reservations, these courts fill up quickly even though there are so many. There's also a pro shop and locker rooms, pretty much everything you need is here, including plenty of free parking in the structure. I can't say enough good things about BH Tennis!
Ken H.: ★★★★★
(Been playing tennis since I was born. I know my stuff. Grew up eating ball fuzz. My mom always told me to eat my greens.)I love this place. It is my second home. I live about 2.5 miles away, but wish I lived closer. These are the best courts in Los Angeles, along with the stadium courts at UCLA (not the sunset or sycamore courts). I've pretty much played everywhere, from Santa Monica, to Culver City, to Downtown, to West Hollywood, etc., and no courts are better maintained or as fun to play on as BHTC.The courts are not a traditional green, rather they're blue. When you play it feels as if you're at the US Open! They have great well kept windguards on every court, which gives it a very private feel. The courts are washed once a week so you get a true bounce on the court and your tennis balls don't get dirty (when dirt gets on your ball by accumulating on the felt the bounce changes; yes I am a ball snob, you should be too.) The court lights are also superb. Always in great working condition and bright. There is no unwanted glare like at other places e.g. Cheviot Hills and West Hollywood. You don't get inconsistent dark spots on the court like at other places. This makes a huge difference if you're trying to return a 100+ mph serve or are just trying to check out your opponents, or their outfits. The lines on the court are perfect, they're well painted and straight. The lines are not faded at all. The court surface is also superior, very smooth, no cracks, indentations or scuff marks. The actual dimensions of each court are fairly generous, leaving ample room behind the baseline and next to each post as well. If you play at Cheviot Hills, the courts are narrow and if you try to return a ball that is out wide, you will most likely hit the fence and two things will happen: 1) you will be on Youtube because you just ran full speed into a chain-linked fence, and 2) you will lose the point. And no, this is not from personal experience. They also have a great pro shop and a great staff of pros. Everyone's very friendly and always willing to help you out. If you're a beginner, intermediate or a Nadal/Federer skill set, you can always meet people that play at your level. Please see fellow Yelper Jana's review below for details on people, club feel, parking conditions, etc.I will play here forever! For-eva, eva? Yes, FOREVER-EVER!

Best service, best programming, best coaching, and best management of any tennis facility in So. California! Hally Cohen and her staff are a first class team that provide a world class service to it's customers. I will only play there when I am in town. Highly recommend!

these courts are just beautiful and clean! your tennis balls wont pick up dirt like they do in most places........played here when i use to live on westside........very well maintained, clean courts, the gates are covered to act as a wind guard but also gives privacy. they have 16 courts in all.....elevated not street level.....is built above the parking structure. if you need to take classes or want to compete they offer that too!i dont recall how much it was but it was reasonable i remember.....so enjoy.

I've been going to this plsce since the day 1 I moved to the United States. And after 2,5 years I've never ever cheated on this beautiful tennis facility. Always clean, well lit, the indoor stuff was remodeled recently - everytging is beautiful and modern. Except for tge ball machine, probably - it never works well.:-)

Best courts in and around LA -- exceptionally well-maintained. Awesome pro shop. Free 2-hour gated parking. Courts are fenced in from all sides. Get in, pay, play, and get out -- no muss, no fuss. It can get full some weeknights and Sundays (there seem to be a lot of tournaments). Save yourself the drive and pay a little for the membership card which allows you to make reservations by phone.

Excellent courts, location, customer service, and an overall comforting and fun atmosphere. Perfect for beginners and pros. The shop inside has recently been remodeled so it's modern and not cluttered. The people are friendly and know tennis. Do not hesitate to ask questions!

I play here at least once a week. Court quality is better than average. Bathrooms and locker room are recently remodeled and are finally open. Teaching professional Anthony Hania is excellent.
Ohhee J.: ★★★★★
Excellent condition courts. Free parking. I love that it's on the second floor so it feels exclusive and you don't get distracted with cars whizzing by. The people who take RSVP are very friendly. You can demo racquets if you bring your ID. Sometimes there are a lot of families that bring kids but they are pretty well behaved. I highly recommend this facility.

Just got the news the courts are being demolished to make way for a new hotel!!! There goes the neighborhood. And the parking.

Highly recommend to any tennis player! I was on vacation in Los Angeles and scheduled two hours with Thierry for a private group lesson with my kids while I had a two hour private lesson with Dan. Great coaching, great courts, easy parking, clean locker rooms. Kids loved Thierry and he kept it fun and active as my kids all play soccer but not much tennis. Dan was perfect for my recreational level of play. The coaches all were adept at meeting our very different levels of play and if I have a trip to Los Angeles again and sufficient time, I'd book them again!

It is so true that everyone is super nice there. And the tennis instructors are great. I highly recommend Jared. He started to teach my four year old son about a year now. He is been so good for him, and soooo patient. He really can teach kids. And adults, I might say, since I started to take lessons as well... for the first time in my life! Talk about patience. I feel very confident now and I can say that it is thanks to him.

Are usually don't play tennis but when I do it's here because I'm the most interesting man in the world. The courts are nice and clean usually easy to get a spot. You would think for Beverly Hills it's very expensive but not this place. You better not raise the price after reading this post!

At Beverly Hills Tennis look for a Tennis Pro named Edwin Gomez. He is the Best! If you are looking to start tennis or have your child start tennis (he is great with kids) or just want to get back into the game he is the man for you. Pay him what ever he asks for, he is worth every penny! In just one lesson he had me hitting balls like I was doing this for years. Before stepping onto the courts with him I had never even picked up a tennis racquet. Now I can not get enough.

I played here since September 2009. The pros are great. The courts are really nice. They just got resurfaced few months ago and had new fences placed. The lessons here are reasonable. Great for kids and adults. The proshop is decent. The bathrooms are nice - not a public park facility. The sitting area has also been updated. Looks like the lobby of the Sofitel. Also, night lights are a plus since the courts stay open until 10PM.

I love playing at these courts. I'm looking to find someone to play with. If anyone is interested I'm a 2.5 female player who just wants to have fun and get some exercise. Email me at: Lkwasserman@Hotmail.com

Free 2-hr parking is awesome but we arrived to a pile of detritus in the corner of our court. I had to kick it off to the side. The court surfaces and nets themselves are in great shape, but the front desk does not return calls and the second time we walked up to the window no one was there. ZERO RECYCLING at a facility that goes through god knows how many tennis ball containers/drink bottles per day. Long story short, doesn’t seem to be the attention here that I’ve experienced at many other tennis facilities but the courts are beautiful if you can get a clean one. Also just a note- booking a court here on mobile is a *nightmare*. For a city with so much money, you would think Beverly Hills would have a functioning reservation system. Nope.

Pickleball **Best bang for your buck on the west side besides the free courts at memorial. They guy Jonathan who works there takes his job too serious and is unfriendly

I grew up playing here as a child and didn't return until I was in my 20's. Overall, the courts are really nice to play on and there is plenty of room to move around off of them. Everything is kept nice and clean, which is always a relief when playing. Most courts in and around LA are a little worn down but these are always kept in the best shape! Parking is free and it is definitely a plus since it is shaded and out of the sun. The markers on the top are a plus too because they let you know which spots are available before you reach them so you aren't driving around for too long looking for a spot! The men in the Proshop are super nice and helpful. I needed a specific bag and I searched all of Los Angeles for it for weeks. They were the only ones that had it & they even saved it for me! This made me so happy! The only negative thing about this place is the woman at the front office. She is an absolute DISASTER to deal with. She treats you like you are a peasant and that you are not worthy enough to play there. I don't know what her problem is. She makes me feel as if I do not belong and that's unfortunate because little does she know, I have given them plenty of money throughout the years. If someone were to kick her out, I would instantly give a 5-star.

It's impossible to speak to anyone bc no one ever answers the phone. You should make it so that we can cancel reservations online. I have to call 10x or more to get a person.

Had a fun time there. Could use some cold water on each of the courts.

My son, 4 yo, took group tennis lessons here for one session with Coach Josh. He was GREAT! It was our first experience with tennis and the class (though registered full) was never really full. It was obviously better when not all of the kids were there since tennis is such a one on one sport. When there were more kids in class, there was more waiting between turns. (A little hard for 4-5 year olds.) There was one week when we had a substitute teacher and that was a bit of a disaster. He clearly had NO clue how to teach such young children. He had the kids trying to do skills that were clearly beyond them. So I'd say the quality of the lessons really depends on the coach. Go observe a lesson (taught by the coach you're signing up with) before committing if you can. Also, they canceled two lessons back to back due to a tournament and we got basically no notice. (The coach came running after us in the parking garage after a lessons to tell us about it.) They also tried to insist that the refund for the two lessons be given as a store credit (which I had refused to do by talking to the manager). A little shady and unprofessional if you ask me. Facilities wise, this place is great. Doesn't seem like public courts at all. Very clean, well-kept courts.Kiddo tip: I brought my 1 yo daughter a couple times to watch/wait for her brother. There's room to let your little ones run around a bit while your big kid is in lessons. The parking lot is free (with validation, no ticket required on weekends) and downstairs from the courts. There is an elevator in the building if you're coming with a stroller.

DAYTIME PLAY ONLY, NOT FOR NIGHTS. If you play here during the day, these are some of the best courts in Los Angeles. Clean, convenient, free parking. Sequestered away so no distractions. Great. If you play at night, it's like playing in the dark. Seriously public free courts utilize better lighting. Both times I've played nights here my hitting partners who play here regularly just said "we complain about the lighting all the time".

PICKLEBALL HAS RUINED this place. There are only about 4 courts left where you can play tennis in peace. Where you can actually concentrate to hit a good serve during match play. The pickleball and the pickeball players are so loud and have zero respect for others. In the space that used to be for 2-4 people to pay a tennis match they now cram in 12 people plus those waiting to rotate in, so over 15 people and they are ALL talking and yelling the entire time. This is such a shame that the city allowed this. They should have built a separate pickleball facility elsewhere so the noise and the crowding wouldnt make tennis unbearable here.
Shane Timm: ★★
Power was out, reservations could not be booked, phone wasn’t answered. I walked over and was denied a court due to not having a reservation. The place was empty except for a handful of players who booked before the power went out. Instead of letting me play anyway due to the inconvenience of not being able to book my own reservation, I was denied so they wouldn’t lose out on $12. $12! Extremely disappointing customer service.

I wish the City had some way to teach or just insist that staff be friendly, polite, etc. Having someone in the office who has no 'people skills' does a huge disservice to the taxpayers of Beverly Hills as well as the general public who utilize the facility. Adequate place. Nice, in general.Problem is with the unfriendly person in the office. I mean, weirdly unfriendly, like you are bothering her if you ask even a simple question. Now, if she spots her friends she's all over the chit-chat and will make you wait if you need something. When she's behind the glass window, good luck! Worse than the post office or DMV.

I have to echo some complaints about the customer service. It's pretty bad, even for Los Angeles. I was about to book a court, but then realized it didn't have the ball machine. I would have considered booked a later time, but the woman at the front desk was so negative I just decided to get off the phone.

Came here with my friend Kayvan Lopez and we were shocked to see how expensive it is ! It's almost 30 dollars for an hour of tennis ?? Is this a joke ??? Who do these bullies thing think they are ???

I was disappointed and disgusted with the staff. It was my first day playing at these courts and my friends and I walked in to claim the appointment for a court we previously made two days before. As wee were walking to the court the staff was giving us looks left and right.I realized they did not do this to the other people around us and it made my group feel uncomfortable and uneasy like we did not belong. We were constantly getting complaints for talking just like everyone else was!!!!!

I am giving BH tennis center a one star not because the tennis center it self but because my past three experiences, not so pleasant. The courts are great, the amenities are great!I live right across the street from BH tennis center been going for the past two years, but my last few visit have been very disappointing. I can't tell you how many times I called the office to make a reservation or ask a question and no one picked up the phone in the office. I called the pro shop to tell them that no one was picking up and could you get me someone, the young girl on the phone would say, yes I will tell someone up there and transfer you." I was transfered and yet again no one picked up the phone. The women that works during the evening when you sign in to your court is extremely RUDE. I actually called when I was out front of the office window and she was just sitting there letting the phone ring ignoring it. After I hung up I mentioned why didnt you pick up the phone, she said she was busy. I was standing right there and she was saying she was busy, I couldn't believe that.I have actually made wagers with friends that when we wanted to play that the person in the office won't pick up the phone, never does, Let me tell you, the first year I was going here was perfect, I didn't have any problems or issues, but within this last year I have had bad experiences and HORRIBLE customer service. The pro shop: I get me my racquet strung here all the time. I remember when the pro shop before it got all redone and now looks great but ever since the reconstructed the pro shop it was like we might as well be BH snooty and rude. One morning I walked in to get my racquet re-strung like I usually do and I waited right in front of the desk patiently while the young girl was on the phone. There was a tennis pro to her right, my left and after she got off the phone she started talking to him about nonsense, nothing tennis related or professional related. I was like "excuse me..." and she looked at me with this look with her eyebrows up and she seemed like I was being rude to her. I waited there for at least 2 minutes(I didn't think 1 min was enough OMG) before she realized I was standing right in front of her. She asked what strings I normally get and I said it should be in the system I always get the same one, a two combination of strings. In the past they could do it by the end of the day upon request, as of late they have been telling me they can no longer do it within the day and it take 3--5 days. how long does it take to string a racquet now I asked, and I received the same answer as like in the front outside window,"We are busy." She said she would call me when finished. Of course I never have received a phone call EVER when my tennis racquet has been finished. I have always had to check in. After a few days I pick up my racquet and the strings are wrong. The same girl as before says, 'oh I am sorry would you like for us to do it again." And I had plans to play that morning so of course I couldn't . She told me I could try them out and if I didn't like I could bring back and get it restrung. So I was like ok. I played with it and it was ok and I just didn't want to go back and go through all of that especially when I play 2-3 times a wk.My next visit (which was my last) pretty much the same experience I told her exactly what strings I wanted and she wrote it down. I picked up my racquet and it was some blue wilson very thick gut. I hate the strings they put on it and after this screw up I will never go back. I have not only been paying for stings I am not ordering and they expect me to keep coming back and forth to get the strings I want right. First of all, they should get the strings right the first time and I should be treated with some care, just a little bit. It just seemed like the continual bad experiences with the people that work at BH tennis center and the bad service.I don't care all GREAT your amenities, offers, and courts are especially when the people that work there are rude and don't treat you with respect. I no longer go here and like I said before been going here for the past two years I was bringing a lot of business with my friends and acquaintances here, spreading the word about BH tennis center. Now I have told everyone not to go and anyone that mentions it I say sorry but there these other courts in Hollywood...well let's go there.

This is one of the worst managed tennis facilities in LA. 1) The courts are filthy, cracked and uneven.2) The cashier/receptionships are slow and especially the weekend staff is rude and inept3) The newly revampled bathrooms remain unclean.4) You need to allow 1 to 2 days for restringing of racketsFor Beverly Hills I expect more.

These courts are very nice but the lady that books the courts and runs the "office" is INCREDIBLY rude and disrespectful. Agreed with others, heaven forbid you ask her a question (about the tennis courts) while she's on a person phone call and eating a snack. My favorite part was when she yelled at my friends and I, who are all over the age of 30, for "coaching" each other. Remind me next time I pay $21 for an hour of tennis to not speak a word about the tennis the entire time. I literally started a yelp account for this review only, thats how pissed off I was when I left this place today (she was working at 4pm today).
Tracey B.: ★
If you don't mind terrible customer service from the court reservations desk... than you'll find the facility decent. On a good day they're just lazy and unhelpful and on a bad day they're unhelpful AND rude. The class sign-up system hasn't been updated since 1987. You have to get in line at 6:30am to wait for 2-3 hours just to sign up for a class. They don't have any way to do it online and if you fax it in, chances are you won't get into a class at all.
Duc L.: ★
Nice courts and facilities. Easy parking. However, the court reservation person was rude, and the rule about not have more than 8-12 balls on the court to prevent coaching is nonsensical and not flexible at all. Coaching can occur without any balls, and no coaching can occur with more than 12 balls. Players at all levels need to hit a lot of balls to improve. A lot of balls does not mean coaching. This rule needs to be changed. With this rule, I can't come alone and practice serves or hit with my 8 year old who by the way needs a lot of repetition according to a coach at this club.
Danielle D.: ★
So i went to get a court in the summer, and some person that was working there didn'yt make the reservation. i thought, OK it's a mistake. i went there again and the same person screwed it up. the people there didn't do anything about it. SERVICE IS JUST TERRIBLE!
