One of the oldest ( and expensive) resorts in the area. It was meant as a retirement resort so most of the full time residents are over 55. You will find people in their 90s pkayibg tennis or golf here!! There is something about the desert air that preserves.

Our ladies tennis group had a wonderful, welcoming experience at Rams Hill Restaurant in their beautiful club house. We enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch together. Great service and beautiful surroundings.

Such a pure experience! Course is kept in fantastic condition, nice GPS carts that are stocked with ice and waters, Pro V1s on the driving range, delicious complimentary tacos at the turn and a warm cookie after finishing your round… what’s not to love about this place?! Every member of the staff at Rams Hill was also incredibly friendly - I will definitely be coming back!

This was my second time at Rams Hill Golf Club and absolutely love it every time I go! Course was in great condition, workers are super friendly and the it's one of my favorite courses to play! Attached are a ton of photos I took of the course. Would highly recommend anyone and everyone to come out and try Rams Hill - you won't be disappointed.

LUNCH WITH A VIEW!!!!! We decided to enjoy a nice Sunday luncheon with friends at the Rams Hill Golf Club Restaurant in Borrego Springs. Don't let the generic name scare you---not only is the BEAUTIFUL outdoor seating a major draw but the menu gives you over 4 pages of choices so even the most finickiest of eaters (including the kiddos) will find something to make them happy. The service was fast and super efficient. We started with a Chips and 3 assorted Sauces as a appetizer that included home made Guacamole, Pico de Gallo and a nice spicy salsa. The portion was HUGE so even with the 5 of us eating we had enough chips and sauces to start our meal. Our table had fish tacos, tuna melt, pizzas as well as cheeseburger and fries. Everything was hot, made to order and were generous portions. After the meal we had a lovely stroll through the back gardens watched some golfers while enjoying the lovely view then had a good laugh as we played some corn hole. This is a lovely destination for a nice meal while enjoying a scenic drive only 90 minutes from Palm Desert.

Beautiful weather and great conditions today. We started with a great breakfast on the picturesque patio after driving from LA. The shop, staff, and starter were friendly and helpful. We started around 9:50 and the pace moved along nicely with some fantastic tacos at the turn. I highly recommend making the drive to play this gem. The greens were running quick as well has the fairways.

One of my bucket list courses to play here in California. Course is in immaculate condition from tee box all the way to the green. We came here to celebrate 4th of July early as we are all Veterans. Great job to all the grounds keeper and staff. Even though it was kinda warm we still manage to play ok. A very challenging course if its your first time but well worth it. All the staff from bag drop, pro shop, marshal, snack bar, and their restaurant treated us with respect and are very friendly. It was a hot day, they give you at the start 2 waters in a cooler with ice. Then there are water stations every 3rd or 4th hole i think. But the marshal also gave us extra water, a electrolite packet and some frozen grapes. Hydrate baby lol. At the snack bar they even had free shaved ice to cool you down. Thank you Rams Hill GC for the great experience you all impressed us. Till next time, we will be back.

Fast undulating greens. You must pay attention to down hill putts. Also watch out for bunkers strategically placed. Just be patient and you can score low. Great different experience away from Palm Desert. A little drive away and worth it.

One of the best tracks in all of Southern California. A bit off the beaten path but totally worth the trek. Free tacos at the turn during the spring and fall and free snocones during the hot summer months! Course is always in immaculate shape. The routing and layout are fun as well. Top notch service too. Worth an extended stay as well!

Friendly accommodating pro-shop staff and the course was immaculate ... and empty :) Other than the views and the condition of the course I'm not sure what all the fuss is about?? It's not overly long, it's wide open and really not that challenging. It's kind of expensive (they did cut us a bit of walk-in deal) though. Would love to have had time to have a bite to eat and drink afterward as the views from the restaurant/bar are spectacular.

Great desert golf course that is very well kept. Rams hill has the best tee boxes. The fairways are well trimmed and the greens are fast. Love the fact that your golf cart is preloaded with ice and bottle waters. The course is a European course with a snack station at hole #10.

Very nice layout, but it's a trek to get to and for $215 you shouldn't be hitting off of dirt in the middle of the fairway!! Much better golf in the Palm Springs area. Pace of play was also a bit of an issue. Friendly staff and the free tacos at the turn was a nice touch.

Nice setup but for $100 I expected the course conditions to be a lot better

We played on a day where conditions made the course unplayable. A combination of 50 mph gusts where it was hard to address the ball without falling over, greens so fast and dry that the ball would just roll off, and a slow pace of play where the round took 5 hours with no Marshall in sight, made this a miserable experience. I wrote and asked to either get a refund for the $440 I spent for our 2 some or get another round when conditions are better and I received no response. Aside from everything I've mentioned, I also did not find the course to be maintained to the standard that one would expect given their expensive green fees. Also, there is no place to practice chipping, the practice green is too small, and the staff were, at best, lukewarm with their customer service (grade of f- for not responding my email to them as well). I do not recommend this course.
