Tennis club with 10 tennis courts, 2 temporary pickleball courts, beautiful pool, nice gym. Very upscale place to play tennis with a beautiful pool, nice gym, tennis and spa area, a great way to spend an afternoon, and stop at the cafe for a delicious meal after a busy day. CVAC offers open court play in a round-robin format every Saturday and Sunday. Free for CVAC tennis Members.

Beginner Clinics: 5:00 – 6:00 PM

Intermediate Clinics: 4:00 – 5:00 PM
Open Play: 5:00 – 7:00 PM

Open Play: Included in All-Inclusive Membership.

USTA & INTERCLUB
The Club offers a full range of USTA League play including men’s, women’s, and mixed teams. Currently, we have over 20 USTA teams in the 3.0 to 4.5 + range. CVAC hosts four Ladies Interclub teams, one A level, one B level, and one C level, which play September through May. Play is free for all members, but league fees may apply.

I would say this is a great place for a family with kids who can really take advantage of the pool. The gym is really nice as well. If you're thinking of joining for the pickleball, I wouldn't advise it. You have to get the full membership which is expensive, and they clearly don't promote pickleball much and even look down on pickleball players. I was told that they are "not a pickleball club but a wellness club". And don't confuse Refuge with CVAC. They are attached but separate businesses.

My husband and I went to The Refuge at Carmel Valley Athletic Club. We both had it massages and then we sat in the jacuzzi in the Oasis area. There are cool plunging pools and Hot Jacuzzis with waterfalls cascading. It's so serene and relaxing. We will absolutely be back
