Great walking park, dogs welcome. Quiet. Pickleball, basketball, tennis courts open to Public. Museum open first Sunday of month.
Shirin A: ★★★★★
The only city-owned pickleball court in the West Valley, and a great one! This park features four outdoor concrete courts, including two dedicated pickleball courts with permanent lines and nets, plus one hybrid tennis court that can be easily converted into two additional pickleball courts using on-wheel portable nets.
Shridevi Hosamani: ★★★★★
Chatsworth Park South is a wonderful spot for a family outing! The park is surrounded by stunning views of the mountains, providing a peaceful and picturesque atmosphere. It’s a huge park with plenty of space to explore and enjoy. One of the highlights is their pickleball court, which is excellent and well-maintained. My kids absolutely love playing there! They’ve also got a fantastic kids’ play area, which is safe, clean, and packed with fun activities for children.
Robert Minoofar: ★★★★
Very nice park and great tennis and pickleball courts. The only negative part is that we had a tough time finding a parking spot. They were all full. Hopefully the environmentalists will allow them to create more parking spots.
Jerome Dialogo: ★★★★★
Basketball court and 4 Pickleball courts. Indoor basketball court is still closed.

Community Center, Tennis courts. Basketball courts. Great views and plenty of trails. For us, I took my dogs, it was a little too dangerous and late in the day for us to explore much more than the circular dirt walking track. We will be back and do much more exploration of this lovely and large park (North and South entrances)

Probably the best park in Chatsworth. Has plenty of green space to run around and play in along with basketball and tennis courts. About 2 playgrounds and a community center. The view of the nearby mountain is also very nice.
Rose DiFonso: ★★★★
Really cool playground. They have a basketball court, tennis court, a field to play soccer or play catch. Nice view of the rocks and mountains. Not a big parking lot

Great place for hiking, tennis and basketball. Well hidden Park with lot of places for activities.
Jennifer Eye-Daggolu: ★★★★
The playground was nice. It has the squishy, rubber turf. Lots of play equipment including a rock wall. The rattle snake warnings were a little concerning but I am new to this terrain. However, they do have special fencing on one side of the playground to keep them out. The women's bathroom was locked and the men's bathroom door was cracked and dark inside. I didn't feel safe using it especially bc it was on the far side of the building and there was no one in sight. From what I saw of the tennis courts they looked really nice. Will definitely come back to explore the trails without my toddler. Overall, beautiful, well kept park but bathrooms really turned me off.
Cristina Mucciolo: ★★★★★
Our family loves this park! We enjoy the large playground area and the park has a younger child playground section behind the building. There's walking tracks and an open field for more activities. Hiking trails, basketball courts and tennis courts. Beautiful scenic views. Well maintained landscape.
Johnny Aboyte: ★★★★★
Beautiful park! The setting really takes it over the top! Two playgrounds that are well maintained, full court basketball and two tennis courts. If that wasn't enough there is a lot of open space with trails to the Santa Susana trails.
Lena Thomforde: ★★★★
This a nice park to go hiking/walking. It also has tennis courts, pickle ball courts, basketball, and a mini playground for kids and dog park area. Only thing is, restrooms are located inside a building so they're closed, no bathroom to use.
Gary Standke: ★★★★★
The outdoor tennis and basketball courts are open. There are two amazing playgrounds, one for small children and the other for everyone else. A giant grass field with many small trees. Paths which lead from this city park to the Santa Susanna State Historic Park is open. Lots of free parking. The sports building is sometimes open. You can see the Homestead Acre area, one of the first houses in Chatsworth next door to this park. I have hiked in this park for the last half century and plan to do more hiking here again.

This is one of this gems that is almost too good to share. It's early in its remodel but it's a wonderful park right now which will only get better as the foliage matures. There is a great track (dirt) for jogging, basketball court tennis courts AND clean bathrooms.
Eric Milliken: ★★★★★
I've been going here to eat my lunch for a couple of weeks now. They are putting in a bunch of need ADA ramps. Basketball courts, walking trails, tennis courts, community center, a couple children's playgrounds. It really is a nice quiet corner of Chatsworth that feels more wild then it has any right to in the middle of a big busy city.

Negative Reviews:
Pedro Leon: ★
Went to watch my Nephew's basketball game and some guy was outside the gym charging $7 entry fee not sure if he was legally doing it or not but I never paid to watch him play anywhere else ever. Seems like illegal activity to me but I paid.
Charlie O: ★
Disappointed. Rocks I used to climb as a kid are covered in graffiti and the trails covered in broken glass from tossed beer bottles. Another SFV landmark ruined.
V. R.: ★
No restrooms
Pedro H: ★★
Nice park but be careful with the woods, not so friendly people go up there.
S: ★★
There is a ridiculous amount of broken glass along majority of the trail. Unsafe for dogs.
