Has everything I needed accept water. The part has a water station but the water near the tennis court is turned off for you and your dog. Don't know how friendly that is to you and your dog? Playground: Children enjoy it. Restrooms: No doors on the stalls with toilets. Bring a towel with you. Seems to always have toilet tissue. Picnic area: Tables but bring your own grill.

I used to take my toddler daughter here to play, but there are far too many junkies shooting up and doing drugs. My daughter was playing and I was chasing her playfully and she ran towards the grass when suddenly a homeless man stood in front of her blocking her with his arms out to the sides. He was blocking her from going to where they where doing their drugs. She is 18 months old and was afraid. Kids cannot play here at all. These people are everywhere, watching you. Even making you feel uncomfortable as they watch you. This would be a great park if it wasn't for all the homeless and drug users who are too close to the playground. It has a baseball field, basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball court and cool playground. Update- Went back to this park after so long and noticed that it has been cleaned up. No crazy people hanging out anymore. I'm glad I can continue to take my 3yo back to this park. Great job!

This review is about the new dog park that opened yesterday (May 21, 2015). I love that it's divided into two sections. One for small dogs and the other for big dogs. I wish most dog parks would do this. There is no way I'm taking my 6 lb Chihuhua into an enclosure with huge Pitbulls in it. But, back to the new dog park, the areas are large with plenty of room for the dogs to run around in. My dog really enjoyed his time there. Thank you Chula Vista and thank you to the construction company that donated the labor to build this park. That said, there are a few things that would make this dog park a 5 star park instead of only 4 stars. Some I think are just oversights or possibly they just didn't get around to completing them before the dog park opened. 1. There are no signs indicating which area is for the small dogs and which is for the large dogs. Someone brought their large dog into the small dog area not realizing that there were two separate areas. Please, get some signs on the gates! 2. The area is covered with mulch. I wish it was grass but I can understand why they chose mulch considering the drought and water shortage. However, since the mulch is brown and dog poop is also brown, it's very hard to spot the poop. Step carefully! 3. There is no place to sit down while your dog plays. I think for most people this might not be a problem. I have health problems that don't allow me to stand for very long and I'm sure I'm not the only one, so having some benches scattered around would be nice. 4. Some kind of small shaded area would also be nice, not just for the dog owners but for the dogs themselves. It was a little hot when we were there and many dogs (and owners) were standing along the chain link fence of the tennis courts trying to stay in the one foot of shade provided by the fence. 5. Last, but not least, there were no trash cans or any kind of container to dispose of the dog poop. You just have to carry it around until you leave. If they fix these small issues, the dog park would be 100 percent awesome.

Eucalyptus Park is a fun little park with so many two separate play equipment. The park is located in Chula Vista and features a ball field, a tractor and bus play structure, basketball court, tennis courts, and a large grassy field. We visited this park when the kids were little, back before covid and to be honest it’s still the same just a broken play equipment but it’s still in okay condition. Lastly, there are two separate playgrounds, one for toddlers and the other for the bigger kids. The playground features a slide, ADA accessible play equipment, slides, ADA swings with baby swings and interactive play equipment. Playground: Very large playground, does tend to get overcrowded during the weekend. Restrooms: Clean restrooms: Picnic area: Few shaded picnic areas located at the end of the park

Eucalyptus Park is one of the destination parks Chula Vista can boast of. I remember they had that spinning wheel that I always watched kids going flying off or get dragged. I learned the lost art of archery, at the top field was the pony league past the tennis courts they also had benches equipped with the old school bbq grills. Public restrooms in front of parking lot on C street and also access on 5th Avenue. Horseshoe pits next to Archery targets and soft ball field with basketball court behind. The playground is of course now safety retrofitted for small children. A lot going on in the summer time afternoons surrounded by the south side grove of eucalyptus and that treacherous cliff from the property line straight down. It’s been a second since I been here maybe 5 years not much has changed. I was hitting this park to catch some rays and grill some carne asada everyday I had some meat. Playground: Newer style old faves for kids - swings slides and ladders

This is one of my FAVORITE parks. Lots of space and lots to do here. 4 tennis courts, WITH LIGHTS for the evening, 2x kids playgrounds and swings, baseball field, a dog park, a woody area behind the tennis courts (you have to see it to know what I mean), plenty of grass area, benches under shade, and ice cream trucks usually make their rounds here. On top of that, you have major stores nearby: Walmart, Aldi, Ross, Dollar Tree, etc. Where you can buy last minute things if you're holding a party or gathering at the park. Only downside is nearby homeless population, but I haven't seen them pitch their tents inside the park.

The only park that has a Bus structure. For that reason alone I give it 4 stars. My girl can play in it for hours if I let her. The other play area is mediocre. It used to have a tunnel, big tunnel slide and some other stuff which is just replaced with traffic cones to cover the metal.. The dog park at the end is very depressing. Basically just dirt and weeds.
