Great facility for Pickleball, especially if the expansion goes through. Winds can be an issue but nice place overall.. Watch traffic getting OFF the island, it can be a drag... Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5

Venue for outdoor pickleball. Four dedicated courts. $5 for visitors per day, includes parking validation. Usually local players around. Professional lessons available. Very nice. The hotel GM is often around to see how things are going.

Came here after a disappointing night at the Gaylord in Chula Vista with our teenagers. What a difference. This is a charming resort that definitely values customer service and hospitality. The staff is great from start to finish. Usually hotel meals are average but food here was delicious!! Danny and Robert took great care of us for breakfast. Our initial room was on the first floor and had a stale smell so we requested a swap which they promptly and happily provided. The walk over to The shops and restaurants on the bay side of the island is about 4-5 min from our room which was fantastic. We didn’t have a change to take advantage of the bike rentals but next time we will take them to the other side for the beach. The basketball and pickleball courts cost extra which was a bummer but we had plenty to do without using them. They have cornhole, ping pong and ladder all set up on one lawn. The pool was nice and refreshing and the hot tub was plenty warm. The jet ski rental just outside the resort was only $50 for 30 min and so fun. We stayed 2 nights and that was just enough to get a feel for the island. Trip type: Vacation. Travel group: Family. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Nice hotel. Rooms facing bay have a great view. Food was good. Pool was nice! Gym is dated but the outdoor amenities are nice like pickleball and tennis courts. Our daughter loved the flamingos. Options for parking are self park for $47 or valet for $55 a day. Kind of over priced. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5

I've now stayed here twice during business trips to NASNI for work from Virginia and this is a beautiful hotel with waterfront views, a stellar location with a gorgeous pool, and direct access to the walking/running path. Staff are always friendly and accommodating for room requests. The lobby is large and gorgeous and they do offer valet. The rooms are clean and spacious and comfy. It's a nice and quiet hotel. The app worked seamlessly for check-in and mobile key. Parking and resort fees are expensive - parking is $47 a day to self park and there is another $50 resort fee a day. This fee does include use of the tennis/pickleball courts and bikes you can use for 2-hours during the stay (we did use them once and the tires were flat on most of them). I enjoy staying here and I think it's a gorgeous location with a prime view of downtown San Diego across the bay. You can quickly walk the path to the Ferry Landing and shop or go for a jog directly from your room which I highly enjoy. Easily walkable to shops and dining on Orange. Trip type: Business. Travel group: Solo. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Nearby activities: Ferry Landing, Jogging path which is about 2.5 miles to hotel Del. Walkability: 5-10 minute walk to the Ferry Landing. Can also walk in about 15 minutes to Orange Ave. and shop and eat.

Amazing location for this hotel! The room was spacious and clean, and housekeeping did a fantastic job. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The resort fee comes with great perks like access to tennis, pickleball, free gym classes, and bike rentals. The only minor issue was that the room was out of body wash, but once I informed them, it was refilled within 5 minutes. The food was excellent, making it a great spot for corporate events. They also have a CVS vending machine and a small gift/snack shop near the front desk for convenience. Highly recommend! Trip type: Business. Travel group: Solo. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Rooms: Comfortable rooms. Safety: 100% safe Walkability: There are plenty of shops within half a mile, and you can enjoy a walk along the shore.

This hotel has amazing service and is located in a nice quiet location but close enough to the ferry to take you to the city (1/2 mile walk). We came here to take Pickleball lessons with Lon Krantz, their Pro and he didn’t disappoint. He’s brilliant! We just love him! And best part, the hotel just resurfaced their courts! Yeah! The hotel is walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops (less than 1/2 mile walk). My only complaint… the bikes which can be taken out and included in the “resort fee” are down right horrible… so if you’re looking for good bikes, consider renting or bringing your own! Trip type: Vacation. Travel group: Couple. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Rooms: Rooms are very nice and relatively modern. Chairs are starting to show some wear and tear. Walkability: Hotel is 1/2 mile walk to ferry and lots of restaurants and shops. Hotel is 1.5m walk to Hotel Del Coronado. Food & drinks: Restaurant is a little expensive but also very good…

Absolutely wonderful resort, I would recommend to anyone!! Such wonderful, accommodating, and friendly staff! The rooms were clean, and larger than expected. My nieces and I stayed here, and we had so many activities available! We rented bikes to bike around the path on the island (2 bikes included with resort fee), played pickleball, and loved the pool area with yard games! The wellness center had such wonderful options! I will definitely be staying here again & would tell anyone to do the same! You can not go wrong here!

We hosted a room block here for our wedding. It was very easy to set up our room block and Becky was very accommodating of our requests. I was able to tour the rooms and had peace of mind knowing that the rooms were spacious and had great views. I knew that no matter the programming for our wedding weekend, our guests would have a great time. I’m so glad that our guests also got to take advantage of their wellness center and played a round of group pickleball. Best way to end the weekend! Trip type: Vacation. Travel group: Family. It a pricey place to stay. The room is nice. I had king bed with pullout sofa. There is a refrigerator, coffeemaker & bottled water. The daily resort fee was a small surprise that includes bottled water in the room, 2 hours use of beach bikes, gym, tennis, pickleball, pingpong, cornhole & ladder golf. Food & drink on the property is expensive. The property is very attractive. Trip type: Vacation. Travel group: Family. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5

Check in was quick and easy. The room was spacious clean and tidy. It did spell strongly of bleach. It also had a great view of the bay. The mattress was average and may need to be updated. The facilities were fantastic! The pool is warm and big. The wellness center is great. They have several classes that are included with the resort fee. They have a great fitness room, lap pool and pickle ball/tennis courts. Plus bikes to rent Breakfast on weekends is a buffet and ala cart thru the week. There is a resort fee and you do pay for parking. I used a ride share service from the airport which was very affordable. This is a great place to bring your family. I highly recommend this hotel. This hotel has got to be one of the absolute BEST places that I have ever stayed and that is saying a lot. This hotel reminds me of the Marriott I stayed at in Maui, the rooms were very large with balcony so you can enjoy the sunrise or sunset, I loves the ambiance of the hotel it was very beautiful from the inside out, the staff was so kind and helpful. The pool over looking the harbor I so pretty and the pool bar food was just perfect. Anytime that I come to San Diego I will only be staying at this property. You can rent biks for 2 hours included with your stay and go ride around the island which was so pretty and fun! The tennis courts are really nice and the workout room is amazing. This hotel blew my expectations out of the water, this was a 20/10 and I will recommend to anyone! Trip type: Vacation. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Rooms are very spacious and are updated. Good views of downtown San Diego. Has a great recreational center with tennis courts, decent gym, and lap pool. Food is good for a Marriott and staff is good. 2 hour bike rental is awesome, can ride the island within that time. Had a great time during my stay.

Everything about this place was great. The staff was very friendly and punctual and they take good care of the grounds, even though they are remodeling. There are a lot of things to do on the property from tennis and swimming laps to walking around and enjoying the bay. The room I stayed in was clean and well maintained and my bed was very comfortable. The was also a Keurig brewer in the room with coffee and tea pods along with a small fridge. I wish the would have included a microwave, but I didn't miss it too much. Overall I stayed here a week and really enjoyed myself. #cozy #metime

Very pleasant hotel room and staff. It has a bar, tennis courts, fitness center, and area for animals to use the restroom. If you are spending a long time here, make sure to check if your room has a microwave. Overall, great experience.

Great resort. Our suite had plenty of room, was comfortable, and had a great bathroom (which is a must for us.) Bathroom had separate shower and soaking tub. Patio/balcony was huge and ours which was Bayview overlooked the grassy game area near the pool. Terrific view of the bay. Amenities were also fabulous. Gym had nice weight equipment downstairs, cardio equipment upstairs, yoga classes, tennis courts, and pickleball. We used all these amenities and they were first class. You can also use resort bicycles for 2 hours a day to ride over the island. Some bikes needed some repair, but most were fine. Great way to explore.

It is a good resort...pool is not as big as the pic shows but it is still good size. Buffet breakfast served everyday 13 for.kids 20 for adult. It is not a lot of variety but better than how expensive room service is. The view from our room was amazing facing the bay side. Parking is paid for that is why we decided on uber for our transportation. There is a starbucks inside but they do not take gift cards and they do not have a large selection. There is a good gym and tennis area included they provide for infused water, towels and earbuds. There are flamingos and ducks in the premises so beautiful

We absolutely loved our stay here. The pool was still under construction, but it was probably too cold to swim anyway. We had a great time with the bikes riding around. Also available are pickle ball, tennis and basketball.

Great resort to stay at in Coronado. They offer many amenities on the property that is both family friendly and for adults as well. They have a pool for all to enjoy with a view of the water and the skyline. In the back area, they have a wellness center that has yoga classes, workout equipment, sauna, lap pool, tennis courts and bikes. I would recommend getting the bikes and taking their recommended path around the island. It can be done in about 45 minutes. Another great feature of the Coronado island is that you can easily take a ferry into the Gas Lamp district or ride the free shuttle around the island during the summer time. This is a great place to unwind.

I have stayed here many times before and will continue to in the future! A great location on Coronado complete with tennis courts, water access, pool, and a nice exercise facility. The rooms are spacious and the villas are even more so. The staff is friendly and I highly recommend this resort!

Newly renovated, the Coronado Island Marriott Resort is a great place to relax and enjoy all that Coronado Island has to offer. The resort offers a great view of San Diego Bay, a great fitness centre with tennis, pickle ball, lap pool, gym, basketball court and beach amenities. The hotel is right on the boardwalk and a nice walk from great restaurants and the ferry the takes you across to downtown San Diego. Only a 5 minute drive from downtown Coronado and the beach.

I stayed two nights in the cottage, which was equipped with practically every comfort. Excellent breakfast and a good bar, along with swimming pools, a fitness center, and tennis courts, make this a great property. The only drawback is its location, overlooking Dan Diego Bay while the beaches are on the opposite side.
