Rec Park - love this place. Good for walking! Lots of kids playing baseball and basketball. Tennis courts and pickleball courts. Playground area for little kids. Great to see everyone out on a Saturday morning getting exercise!
Shih-Peng Leong: ★★★★★
Played Pickleball, clean, safe, brightly lit courts. Staff is attentive
Jamal El-Amin: ★★★★
Nice tennis courts but slowly being taken over by pickleball invasion.
Eric Nielsen: ★★★★★
My son left his hat on the bench in the back by the hockey rink in the basketball courts and Aiden went all the way out there to find it and hold it for us. Also we were looking for somewhere to play tennis and even though they're sitting up for the big pickleball tournament one of the really nice ladies with blonde hair said we could use one of the other tennis courts because they were done with it however it was locked already but that was super kind of her.
Glen Sato: ★★★★★
Just so much to offer here from baseball fields, tennis/pickle ball, basketball, inline hockey, ping pong, picnic/bbq and a playground for kids. I never had a problem with finding parking and lots of places to eat close by. It's a clean and well maintain park!
denny stearns: ★★★★★
Love this park. So green all the tums. Clean. Great pickleball courts
James L.: ★★★★★
The park buildings are looking a little tired, but the park staff and pickleball courts are fantastic.
Adan G: ★★★★★
Amazing park with a huge selection of activities such as tennis, pickleball, basketball, baseball, ping pong, and lots of open grass space. One downside I will say is if you are interested in playing tennis there's only about 3 tennis courts now (that are often all reserved) since the rest are being used for pickleball.
Chris G: ★★★★
Considering this is a FREE public park, I'm very impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep. This property is huge and has so many things to do: cornhole, lawn bowling, pickleball, tennis, softball, soccer, and the list goes on. I came here to play pickleball, which requires reservations through the following website: https://pickleballinsider.com/listing/el-segundo/ I really enjoyed myself here, very nice sprawling park with plenty of beer/food options for when you are done, so workup an appetite.
Michael Hutch: ★★★★★
I stop here every time I roll through El Segundo to shoot hoops , I believe there's 8 hoops all with nets , lights at night , they have a roller hockey rink , ping pong tables , baseball fields, restrooms, soccer I think , there's also tennis courts a- plenty for you pickleball players out there and lots of shade in this busy yet serene and well kept park

Back home for Thanksgiving, me mum asked me if I wanted to play in her Tuesday afternoon Pickleball group made up of 60+ year old moms. Absolutely I do, mother. Real ones know Pickleball with the older crowd is an absolute war, and war is a full contact sport. This is big, big business to them. We reserved one of the 4 legit Pickleball courts here at Rec Park, and as they start warming up and trading Holiday horror stories like "I'm a little sad Chase is with his girlfriends family this year for Thanksgiving" or "Ugh I'm worried the Turkey Roaster won't hold up this year but Steve just INSISTS on using the same one from 1962..." the palpable tension of gametime on the horizon begins to percolate. Few things are more humbling than doing anything athletic with a group of 60 year old women and them absolutely dominating you. Thankfully, I wouldn't know what that is like as I am an ELITE athlete and was gliding out there like a Prime Rafa Nadal on Clay while trash talking them with lines like "MAKE MARTHA MOVE HER FEET, SHE DON'T WANT TO MOVE HER FEET I PROMISE YOU, SHE STUCK IN THE MUD! GO RIGHT AT MUDDY MARTHA SHE NOT BUILT FOR THIS! " or "NANCY IS WIT US! GET HER ONE OF OUR JERSEYS!" after the yellow wiffle ball just barely lands out of bounds giving us a point....................... ahahaahahaha jk I was actually getting WHOOPED out there. These ladies are so skilled it's crazy. Real humbling stuff. This park is sick though they have everything from tennis courts, hockey rink, lawn bowling, basketball courts, volleyball courts, playground, baseball field, etc. Something for everyone. THANK YOU REC PARK FOR HUMBLING ME I NEED IT SOMETIMES! IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

This park is huge and has everything!!! There are loads of places to picnic and eat. All the courts are very well maintained and there are a ton of courts for many sports including Volleyball, tennis, basketball, paddleball, pickleball, etc. There is lots of parking, it's super clean with trash bins available all over and you can borrow/rent equipment too! The playground is nice and safe away from parking and streets. The bathrooms are decent enough but I wouldn't use the water fountains, I see a lot of people allowing thier dogs to drink from it. The location is nice, easy to access and people seem very friendly. My kids beg to go here often!!!
Gerrell (Buddha): ★★★★★
Clean and very well maintained park. Plenty of tennis courts, baseball fields, picnic tables, lawn bowling, and well secured
Michael Sundquist: ★★★★★
Large well maintained park with several high end ballparks, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground
Sage Lysobey: ★★★★★
As a tennis player, the court surface is in good shape, the windscreens are pretty new, nets don’t sag, the lights are playable, and the park is always clean overall. They are free to use, but can be booked in advance by locals. A bonus is they just updated both bathrooms.

Well kept with a large variety of things to do. Has two playgrounds, a small one, and a larger one better suited for older kids. A nice place to bring your dog for a walk on leash. There are volleyball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, and ping pong tables. I love going with my friends and checking out the ping pong equipment.
Patrick McClinton: ★★★★★

Really cute park with a playground and small and older kids as well as tennis courts, baseball and roller hockey. The facilities are a bit dated but not really a big deal. Locals seem to like.

Jillian Pratt: ★★★★★
This is a great park. Park itself is always meticulously clean. Free Parking spots available all around, great sidewalks and places to bike. Tennis courts, baseball, hockey, non iced rink, bbq area, walking path, everything. Rental building for Park in site, reserve your spots! Restrooms very clean, always has hand soap. It is very well lit at night as well. I feel more than safe taking my pup around in the late evening. Also the El Segundo police are great at keeping this community safe. I never feel like I am in danger. That being, it is LA county, I never put my guard down fully. Everyone who goes here is friendly, says hello. It's a tight community. Nary an unhoused individual around.
Wilson Obregon: ★★★★★
Ive been going to this park since I was about 15. I love it its my zen park my relax place my detoxifying area. Love the basketball courts there and how its cage. I love the Hockey Ring as well everytime I see it it reminds me of Mighty Ducks the movie or Blink the skate movie for some reason. The baseball fields the tennis courts the play area center the playgrounds the hills the walking track. The picnic areas wow soo much in one park. Its great!!! Soo many memories there.

Family friendly, fun for all ages, basket ball courts, tennis courts, roller hockey court, and it's all usable any time there is no official reservations which isn't all that often. They have a teen center with a skate park and basket ball court. Inside they have local bands play music on stage. A Tribe Called Quest actually played there back in the day. Foosball tables and ping pong tables. Weight lifting room in the back. El Segundo Park has many amenities and would recommend it to anyone.

This park has everything you could want! Baseball/softball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, roller hockey rink, baseball practice tunnels, rec room, racquetball, lawn bowling, and more!!
Andrew Britton: ★★★★★
This is a dream park with multiple baseball fields, room for little league and highschool softball, recreation hockey rink with team seating areas, beautiful trees, friendly park staff, six semi-private tennis courts, volleyball court, shuffle board, lawn bowling balls AND a field just for lawn bowling, kids play structures for toddlers and adolescents, fire pit. It's a beautiful park, and extremely idyllic.
Christine Tran: ★★★★★
This park is awesome! I like coming here to play tennis. The courts are open to the public til 5:00PM. After that it's only available to El Segundo residents and must reserve courts in advance. Aside from tennis courts, there are basketball courts, soccer field, BBQ area, picnic tables and even a ping pong area as well. The park is clean and well kept. Definitely a gem in the heart of El Segundo.
Gregg Thomas Towsley: ★★★★★
El Segundo is an amazing town. I play mostly in Manhattan Beach although sometimes venture to El Segundo and I'm always thoroughly impressed with the cleansing is and the quality of the courts.
Rex Froemke: ★★★★

Community park and tennis courts. Pleasant for the neighborhood, but not a destination.
Serg Hernandez: ★★★
A good park with great options for recreational activities. Park includes hockey rings, tennis courts, 2 baseball fields, 1 toddler playground, 1 bigger-kid playground, ping-pong and shuffle board tables (with a check-out desk) and lots of open space for kids to play and run around in. A good place to rent a bounce-house and have a party.
Negative Reviews:
Brian Krueger: ★
Went here to play pickleball. Could not play. All courts are pre-reserved and office is closed. Waste of time.
Sugar_ Cookie45: ★
You only have one basketball hoop unlocked for social distancing reason but have all paddle tennis open and it looks like a covid party up in there?? Makes no sense. Plus others inside watching. Like 25 people in a tennis court. Dumb
