I attended the Los Cab Sports Village PPA (Professional Pickleball Association) Takeya Tournament. The club has completely transformed their pickleball courts and gave it a much-needed face lift. The tournament was well-run and well-attended, and I couldn't ask for anything more. The courtside seating at the championship court was plentiful, and I scored seats that were next to the players' benches. I was able to sit 2 seats away from all my favorite pro players and hear their conversations and strategies! It was an incredible day!

Awesome! Lots of pickle ball courts.

Beautiful place for pickleball and tennis. They have so many courts here, clean and well maintained. There are more people playing pickleball here than tennis so they have mobile pickleball nets that you can roll into a hybrid lined tennis court with your crew. The membership fee is month to month but the weekends do get very busy.

Los Cab Sports Village at Fountain Valley offers a captivating experience for both families and sports enthusiasts. The impressive swimming pool, shared with a renowned swimming company, provides a perfect environment for little ones to learn swimming. The array of amenities, including 22 pickleball courts, jacuzzi, saunas, showers, and an Olympic-size pool, ensures a fulfilling visit. The numerous racquet sports options, three swimming pools, diverse fitness classes, and indoor basketball courts truly set this sports club apart.

Los Cab is quite a sports facility with handball/racquetball courts, Olympic size swimming pool, tennis and more. It's been years since I played in handball tournaments here but they hosted the USHA NATIONAL MASTERS TOURNAMENT this weekend with numerous events that was really terrific and exciting played. I look forward to return soon.

A country club in the city... great staff and an amazing facility. Olympic size pool with 15 or more tennis courts, handball and racquet courts. Los cab offers a lot of training classes to choose from in addition they have a sand pit volleyball court as well as a special department called fast twitch for the modern athletes of today's high intensity sports. Love that place been going there over 10yrs and they always seem to advance with the times!

Great facilies, with Nancy at the front desk in the morning and Tracy and Sara at the tennis clubhouse. Huge pools, great weight room and---Angie with her balance class!

All service sports club, not just a lifting gym. Tennis, competitive swimming, handball, racquetball, paddle-ball, two basketball courts, senior activity classes; ping-pong and squash courts clearly the most comprehensive sports club in Orange County. The only thing missing is golf.
Dave Rodecker: ★★★★★
Best private sports club in southern California. Large areas for exercising, tennis, basketball, indoor soccer, gymnasium, squash, swimming, weight training, full workout, Zumba, yoga and more. Amazing, heated Olympic pool! Friendly staff. Comfortable and appealing for individuals and families during the week and on the weekend.
Michael Liu: ★★★★★
Friendly staff, clean facilities, and great workout classes. You'll regularly find me here at one of the evening Bodypump classes, HIIT classes, or aerobic classes. I haven't gotten into playing tennis yet, but I am looking into upgrading my membership so that I can start.

Facility has multiple swimming pools, kept at 80 degrees all year. Main pool is set up for long swim laps m-w-f and short lap swim tue and thur and weekends. I've been swimming there 3 days a week for many years. I look forward to the hot tub after a work-out. I feel great after my swims. Club has tennis courts, and many indoor racquet ball courts. Housekeeping keeps this facility clean and tidy.

Everything is here, olympic pool, 50 plus exercise classes weekly, tennis, 50 pickleball courts, but most importantly great staff, and great members.Everyone is welcoming and friendly a great place to join if you're anywhere in the area..

I absolutely love being a member here! The pickleball courts are always in great shape and kept to a really high standard. The challenge courts are especially fun -- there's always great competition, which keeps the games exciting. On top of that, the community is incredible; there are so many nice people to play with and get to know, which makes it a welcoming and social place. The staff are also fantastic -- always helpful and attentive. Aly, one of the managers, deserves a special mention. She always greets me with a smile and is ready to answer any questions I have. Her positive energy really adds to the overall experience.I was a tennis member at Los Cab back in the 80's and thought the club was amazing then -- but honestly, it's even better now. Without a doubt, this is the best pickleball in Orange County that I've seen.
Brian N.: ★★★★★
Honestly, I don't understand all of these bad reviews. I've been a member here for almost 3 years and I think it's amazing. Is it perfect? No, but no club is.There's basically two kinds of memberships you can get. You can get an individual sports membership for $60 a month a person (cheaper than that if you sign up your whole family). The sports membership allows you to do everything except play tennis. Which means that you have access to their Olympic size pool, their two full-court indoor basketball courts, an indoor volleyball court, sand/beach volleyball court, all sorts of fitness classes like Zumba, kickboxing and yoga, saunas and steam rooms in both the men's and women's locker rooms, racquetball/handball courts, and indoor ping pong tables. It took me a good 10 minutes just to list everything that comes with the sports membership. And if you rent a condo or an apartment at Los cab, many of them come with a free sports membership. For $30 more a month, you can do all the above and get access to Los Cab's 24 lighted tennis courts. If you want tennis lessons, Los Cab has amazing pros who can teach you. Los Cab also regularly has tennis socials for tennis enthusiasts to meet, drink, mingle and of course, play tennis. And for people who are super competitive like myself, Los Cab regularly has club leagues and tournaments. And except when Los Cab hosts tennis tournaments, there is always a court available for you and your friends to play on. Speaking of tennis tournaments, Los Cab sometimes hosts professional tournaments. So if you want to see young college-aged players hit 100+ serves and whack the crap out of a tennis ball, just come to Los Cab.I happen to rent from Los Cab, so it shaves $60 off of my $90 tennis membership so I only end up paying $30 a month for a full tennis membership. Honestly, there's so much to do here. On nights when I don't play tennis, I play basketball, ping pong, work out, or just relax in the sauna.24 hour fitness and LA fitness don't have half the amenities that Los Cab has to offer!
Jimmy N.: ★★★★★
I had been here more than 10 years and club is awesome. Facility got everything you need and it is really CLEAN. They even had body pump, yoga, cycling classes free for all members. I love tennis and it is the main reason I went here. Tennis court got a make over with blue over grey look beautiful and inviting. Match every Tuesday & Wed with several different skills. If you need a hitting partner, talk to John at Tennis desk. Need some tennis lesson to improve your game? You can virtually have it with anyone, except Wojtek Pietrowski. He got unprofessional attitude and money hungry. I personally had few private lessons with Wojtek and really disappointed. Ended up with Mark and loved it since.
Michael M.: ★★★★
I came here to work out while the rest of my family played tennis...it seems like a tennis player's dream. The gym was cool too, I just expected more and kept getting lost with all these odd doors that went from one random area to the next.
Tennisgirl T.: ★★★★★
Been a tennis member for almost 15 years and love it! Leagues of all varieties are available (Pacific Sun, USTA, Hill & Canyon, and club leagues) Los Cab also offers many fun social events throughout the year that help you get to know members. They have 18 courts and plenty of tennis opportunities for kids and teens. Having the ability to play other clubs through leagues in OC has also given me the chance to compare clubs. If you don't need golf as an option then this is the place to play!

Have been going to los cab off and on for 30 years. I think people in the area are really blessed to have a great facility like this in the area. The tennis facilties are very good and newly surfaced courts, the lighting could be better for night tennis, but thats ok. The tennis program is run pretty well, with good group of instructors and nice participation, maybe a lack of highend players. Keri Baar owners daughter always goes out of her way to accomodate any needs. The basketball courts often tied up for club volleyball which is unfortuante. Weight room is decent, seems like their is an overload of past their prime women personal trainers and a lack of cutting edge male trainers that could advance the weight and fitness room.Memebership fees are pretty fair. I think they could stay open later than 9pm to accomodate people that work or go to school and want to get a workout in.
Manny P.: ★★★★★
This club is awesome. I train here for tennis and it even has squash courts and plenty of racquetball courts and a banquet. Nice swimming pools and plenty of ping pong tables.
Kyle V.: ★★★★★
I love Los Cab! I come mostly for the pickleball but I love Los Cab because it really does feel like a Village. So many friendly faces and so many options to do sports like tennis, lap swimming, racquetball, handball, volleyball, or just relax in the hot tub or even find one of the many hidden nooks to break out your laptop and get some work done. This type of place is growing rarer and rarer as the cost of real estate in Southern California continues to climb. We must support this incredible place where sports and community come together. Los Cab Forever!

I've been a member at Los Cab for 15 years. They have everything you can imagine, 80 degree Olympic size pool, 90 degree smaller pool that is great in the cold winter days, huge gym that is never busy (I was Balley's and 24 Hr Fitness member before and there is no comparison). Indoor basketball and Volleyball courts. over a dozen racquetball courts (that again are never busy, just walk in and play), and of course 20 or so tennis courts which is my thing. At the height of the housing boom they converted some of the tennis courts into condos (they had even more courts back then), which was a shame. I just hope such a gem of a gym stays around for a while. I plan to stay a member for years to come God willing.
Jan V.: ★★★★★
Los Cab is the place to be for pickleball. My husband and I joined the club in August 2023 after they put in 39 dedicated pickleball courts. We play almost every day on their beautiful courts. You'll never have a shortage of high energy, friendly, and fitness minded members to challenge. It's always exciting to see the pros practice and teach here too, as Mary Brascia (amongst others) practice out of Los Cab. There are also plenty of tennis and racquetball courts for you non-picklers too! When not on the courts we swim in the Olympic sized pool and attend the various fitness classes offered as part of our membership. Los Cab has become our home away from home, the ultimate haven for you fitness geeks.

Love Los Cab. Been a member for almost 20 years. Swam on two USA swimming club teams there. Staff always treated us with respect and a smile. Good selection of classes (yoga, strength training, spin, etc.), pool is one of the only 50 meters you can find in the area, and plenty of weight training options, spin bikes, basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, and of course, tennis.
Jam R.: ★★★★★
This place is great, been living here now for 3 yrs now. Los Cab offers a variety of things for you from basketball, cardio, classes, and my fav the weight room. Weight room is hardly ever packed, and even if it is, your not waiting around to use any equipment like LA fitness or 24 Hr. They also have Olympic pools, small pool for novice swimmers, tennis courts, you name it they have it in some way.
Tim X.: ★★★★★
Top-notch athletic facility in Orange County, but really only worth the price if you have the tennis membership which qualifies you to access all the facilities. The tennis courts are THE best around, though they're on the slow-side for hard courts. Unlike most courts in the area, these have extensive, fenced dividers so that each court is fairly divided (preventing errant mishits from landing on others' courts, stopping play, etc.) Water fountains aplenty and an ice machine by the exquisite lounge add to the experience. Court reservations can be made over the phone and in person at the lounge, which has several huge, comfy sofas and a giant HD tv, usually with tennis on. Challenge doubles goes on several nights each week, and holiday events (Memorial Day doo-dah) are thrown as well (with tennis being the central focus, of course). The USPTA teaching pros are top-notch, I've taken lessons with and recommend Wojtek Pietrowski and Mark Hirtler. The rates run around $50/hour which may vary for members and non-members. For some time, ex-pro Taylor Dent's father coached at the club (not sure if he does anymore), charging $100/hour and even working with Maria Sharapova (saw them firsthand) for a bit. Group lessons are also available, Chris Hastings seems to be the go-to guy for that.NOVA Aquatics (SoCal powerhouse) trains year-round in the Olympic size pool during the evenings, which is usually lane-lined off into 25 yds. There is also a smaller pool and a tiny kids pool. But for doing laps, the large pool is amazing. You'll always find an open lane, the pool is clean, and it's just hard to find another swimming pool of this caliber in the vicinity. One thing that stands out about Los Cab's gym is its separation of the "free weight" room from the "aerobic and exercise machine" room. The latter is the general, multipurpose room with your usual array of treadmills, bike machines, ellipticals, exercise machines, etc. But it also houses a decent amount of free weights for arm curls, bench press, and more. The designated "free weight" room, which is just a basketball and volleyball court away (in the same building), is more rugged and has the much more intense equipment. You'll see the bodybuilders stick to there, while the general room has a more elderly, soft crowd. Neither ever seems THAT full, and you rarely have to wait for machines. Here's a tip, if you have any grandparents or elderly family members, they qualify for a discount and you can benefit from that as well. It's literally half as expensive for me and my grandpa as it is for myself. Member for life. All in all, it's the most comprehensive, high-quality sports facility around. If you're an avid athlete who enjoys cross-training and engaging in multifaceted workouts, look no further than Los Cab.
Larry W.: ★★★★★
The facilities -- from 50 meter pool to tennis and racquetball courts to fitness center to regulation indoor basketball and volleyball courts to free weights are top notch. Someone complained about NOVA - an elite club swim team with learn to swim school. That only impacts the little kiddy pools. For serious lap swimmers, there's always plenty of room and I truly don't understand the other reviewer's problem. I've been a happy club member for more than ten years. One nice perk is that it's located adjacent to the running trail side of the Santa Ana River Trail --I like doing swim run duathlons then showering and having a beer -- heaven.
Mustafa G.: ★★★★★
Been coming here for as long as i can remember. Their staffs' are super friendly, and there's 2 weight rooms, 2 huge Olympic size pool, 1 kid pool and an additional pool in the back. Los Cab have Racquetball, Tennis courts, Volleyball room and an outdoor Volleyball area. Los Cab is the only gym that holds Racquetball competition yearly. Price is a bit higher than other fitness centers but it's well worth it. No long lines or wait on a machine because of their price and their exclusivity. So you won't find those there who's just there for chick checking. They also have classes such as Body Pump, Yoga, Cycling, High Intense Training (H.I.T.) and more. There's personal trainer at additional cost and kids programs as well. I definitely recommend this gym to those who enjoys working out without being rushed.

***This review is for the 2024 Carvana PPA Tour VEOLIA LA OPEN that was held at Los Cab Sports Club only***2024 Carvana PPA Tour VEOLIA LA OPEN was held here at Los Cab Sports Club in Fountain Valley. It's located within the Los Caballeros Sports Village which consists of condos, the sports club, and other amenities. Due to the limited parking within the village, participants and guests of the tournament had to park off-site at Sports Basement and be shuttled here or park somewhere and walk 12 minutes due to no shuttle service offered there. It was only a few minutes ride so not bad at all.Upon after entering the village, I was like where is the entrance to the sports club. Well, we were dropped off at a parking area and we had to walk through some walkways to get into where the pickleball courts were located. It was a weird pathway and somewhat tight space. Anyway, we found the Championship Courts. We watched the Mixed Doubles where Ben Johns/Anna Bright played against Thomas Wilson/Vivienne David. Thomas and Vivienne won the match. I don't follow them, but I just love to watch and play pickleball. One fine day, I will sign up to play alongside the pros. There were lots of other pickleball courts available. We saw some tennis courts, too. There was a spa jacuzzi in the middle overlooking the pickleball courts which I thought was odd. I guess you can be sipping your margarita in the jacuzzi while watching a pickleball match LOL. Fun!Pickleball Central was here selling their merchandise. I've been eyeing this olive green sweater with the word pickleball on it. They finally got it in large size so I bought it. So happy! There were other vendors, too, but they were packing up because the tournament was almost over. Yeah, my eldest daugther and I were so late. We barely caught the last match. Just glad we saw some good pickleball action and I got my sweater! Funny, we didn't even check-in because the check-in table to closed by the time we got here. Silly us for leaving the house late. Oh well... it's all good. All things happen for a reason. We still had a good time! See y'all at the next open!!

This is the best sports/fitness-related establishment I have ever been to. You can do and find right about anything here....tennis, yoga, work-out classes, weight room, volley/basketball, multiple pools and jacuzzis, and much much more. They even have a child care program so your children are looked after while you workout. There are many seating areas to relax and even order food at the Center Court Bistro. To really provide full service to their guests, they have a towel service, private locker rooms, Physical Therapy suite, a hair/nail salon and a spa (massage/facial), etc. They have free wifi for guests and staff is super super friendly and helpful. This club is very family oriented and few times a year they'll put on social and competitive events to bring the community together. Everyone knows each other here. It's a really friendly environment. And if you love it as much as I do, you can inquire about the condos at the leasing office and never have to leave again. ;-)

Being a Los Cab member since childhood, around 2000, I loved this place.Yes I know that the place is pretty pricey but it is well worth it if you use majority of it's benefits. The pool is large with a kiddie pool, baby pool and a big pool. Theres another one near the gym as well. There are a lot of tennis courts and a fair amount of raquet ball courts. They have two locker rooms in one building and another in the gym. They have volleyball as well and a movie theater. They also have basketball courts. The gym there is awesome. T They have machines in one area and a weight room in another area. The staff is well rounded , always offer to help and be your friend. They have apartments where you could live and also housing complexes . They also let you bring people in for free at the last friday of every month. My single complaint is that there aren't trial memberships for people interested in joining. Maybe just charge them a small fee and then eventually see if they want to join Los Cab.
Nick S.: ★★★★★
Best place for multi-sport athletes! The olympic 50m x 25yard pool rotates between long course and short course daily to mix up your aquatic use. I come here during lunch to get a quick 1500m in before clocking back in at the office. If you come at night, the swim club sometimes monopolizes half the pool for their training so you might have to share a lane. This also happens sometime when it is really hot outside during the summers with general pool patrons.I try to play basketball at least twice a week and the scheduled pick up games are great! Every Tuesday/Thursday from 4-6pm they use one of the 2 full basketball gym courts for pick up ball. The scoreboard is turned on and a LC employee works the score machine. First come first serve though so come early!Their fitness classes are great as well! The Body Pump class uses a barbell for intense lifting and full body work outs. I've also taken the CX Works and cycling there with good results as well.Club membership I believe is $80ish/month, but they have lots of discounts that probably apply to you! This place is huge with pools, tennis courts, gyms, weight rooms, spas, saunas, and racquetball courts.

I've been a member at Los Cab for a long time now. Maybe close to a decade. The staffs are friendly and very accommodating. I have Cerebral Palsy and in a wheelchair. There are many fitness centers that caters to disabled and elderly, such as Goodwill and the community colleges, but knowing that I can use the same equipment that an able-body person can, it gives me the motivation to push myself harder in my training. I just like Los Cab because I'm just another face in the crowd that likes to workout. Plus, all of the regulars knows each other. It's a great place to workout and not try to socialize with strangers because we all know each other. I will always be a member as long as my bike is available to me. (Inside jokes for my friends at the club.)Los Cab is a great place, if you know your crowd. There are your tennis people, gym people, pool people and so on. You got to find your niche and it's way easy to make friends.Unlike other clubs, you leave your social status out once to check in at the front desk. No sales pitch from trainers and staffs. Maybe I will get a t-shirt by writing this review.
nhan p.: ★★★★
I actually live on the property so it's really convenient to walk over, get my workout on, and walk home. If you don't have this luxury, there are many gyms around the county that will do you if you're looking for a good workout. The staff is always nice and attentive and there's a good amount of bikes/treadmills to be used. The downside: the equipment is a little dated. Most the time when I bike I look up and the TV is permanently set on Fox News. Which is okay, because I have my phone to entertain me during the ride. But that's the type of place this is.There are tennis courts for days and they're well maintained, just wish they were lit a tad better.I notice a lot of kids and teenagers around the "after-work" hours, but my only frame of reference is the 24hour SuperSport I used to go to. Compared to that, there are a good amount of youngins here swimming/balling/sitting around the premises studying.Even though I don't need it, there's ALWAYS good to semi-decent parking. I know people say "hey buddy you're going to the gym, don't complain about far parking!"... but the last thing I want to do after a good workout is trek a long way in a wilderness of cars. I got places to be man.
Kieu T.: ★★★★
Since joining this sport club last year I've attended so many of their classes. When I was over at 24 hour fitness I would just do weights and a little cardio. I'm more consistent over here because it's not as crowded as 24 hr. I used to have to wake up at 3:30 am on a weekday to go work out. Because it was just to darn crowded after work and I didn't feel like coming at 8:00 pm. Over here I can come after work and still be able to workout without the crowd.I always go to the body pump classes and always push myself to go heavy on the weights. Us girls can go strong too. I like the spinning and the abs/core classes, it kicks butt. When I can I go to the yoga and pilates classes too. I love the kickboxing classes (it's very intense because one time a girl came in without knowing how intense it was and she stepped out after 15 minutes and I saw her vomitting in the trash and she never came back. Poor girl.) because we get to actually put on gloves and the instructor comes by and spar with us a little, and it really kicks my arse after 1 hr 15 minutes. Plus any frustration I need to get out, I take it out on the sparing bag. And when I have free time from the classes than I go into the weight room. This past March I was able to participate in the March Madness at the gym. It was nice. You get a card and every class that you go to the instructors would initial the card with how many hours it was. If you achieve 20 hours for the month you get a T-shirt, 25 hours and over you get to be in the drawing for a certificate to Sport Authority. Let's just say I was super dedicated and exceeded the 25 hours just for myself. Surprisingly I was one of the winners of the certificate, so that was cool. I never win anything. hehe The people that I've met here are really nice and it feels like a family club here, which I really like. Yes, some of the equipments aren't up to date especially the weight room. It would be nice if the owners decided to re-do that room and replace most of the equipments but I still like it. I don't need the fancy wancy stuff just a place I can concentrate on working out. My coworker lives on the premise and goes here. She would tell me how this place is much better than 24hr or Bally's. She recently got a trainer and is motivated to eventually join the triathlon at Los Cabo. I think that's what she said. She kept telling me that if I wanted to check it out, she could get me in on a guest pass. So I decided to check it out. When you walk in you see a huge swimming pool area with a bunch of kids and their parents. The surrounding complex are condos. It was a bit confusing when she showed me all the rooms. There's a building for squash and racquet ball. There's a little food shop, saw some kids looking at the ice creams. Other rooms for yoga, pilates, the tennis court (that's a different membership), the fitness room (2 different room with weights), 2 huge basketball court, volleyball court, a room that has a vibrating machine you stand on (that's a different fee. i was able to try it and it was cool), and 2 woman's locker room (one is under construction). The one locker room I went into is pretty nice compared to 24 hr. They have actual dryers on the wall, the shower area is cleaner, 2 sauna room (didn't try that out yet) and the jacuzzi (it's outdoor but since its only for women, you can go in your birthday suit). I noticed the lockers are not the type you can just put a lock on but you'll need a key. My friend said you have to pay for a key that's good for a year and that locker is yours. But I did find some lockers in the back that you can use a lock on, that would be for me. There's also a towel service where you pay to get a token and keep safe that token so you can exchange a wet towel for a clean one. My friend says she just takes the wet towel home and bring it back the next day because she might lose the token. That's a good idea. The people are friendly here. It's like family oriented place, which I like. You can work out without having those obnoxious people that I've encountered at 24hr. I talk to the customer service for membership and it's $76 month, I think but if you have an ID for a corporation than you get a discount for $51 plus $5 (the food shop). First time enrollment fee is $99. The rep said that you get a $5 monthly credit to the food shop but it doesn't carry over, so use it or lose it. My 24 hr prepaid membership is almost up, next month. So I will probably just it go and join los cabo. I came on a Thursday night at 7:00 pm and it wasn't crowded. If I went to 24 hr at that time, it'd be like a night club. It's more expensive than 24 hr and it has limited hours but I'm tired of the waiting for machines.

Update Jan '26:- Ice machine been broken for months now. When will they fix? They keep an open large ice bucket by the water machine now, but that's not the best sanitary protocol.- Yes, lotta nice people here (pb players and staff members), but also some groups are cliquey. Just try and meet people and eventually you find your crowd, regardless your skill lv.- They haven't hosted a PPA tour here in over a year.... I've checked out their other sports amenities. Only one indoor bball and one indoor vball courts. Low demand.. Tip: Check if you'll get charged extra depending on payment method.+ You can use their indoor racquetball courts for pb wall drills.+ Neat lil open house event on Sat, 1/17/26. The nice, knowledgeable staff gave informative tours around the facility introducing Cab's various sports amenities.- However, the appeal in the email had led some to believe that there would be nice freebies for all guests who come to the event.

Love the pickleball courts and swimming pools. Friendly and welcoming people to play pickleball with. The boba and Mexican food options are also a huge plus after playing pickleball. High recommend checking this place out. Oh another important point out, the place is clean.

Los Cab is the best! Friendly community and welcoming staff. I joined beginning of January 2024 to play pickleball and the first time I stepped foot on the property, I felt like a kid in a candy store. Pickleball heaven. There are over 30 permanent courts along with hybrid courts as well. Challenge courts from beginner to advanced get popping from 6pm til close. The facility is always kept clean and there's always staff around if needed.

I joined Los Cab about 2-3 months ago with my girlfriend, and we've been loving it ever since! The staff is fantastic, and getting a membership was super easy. There are plenty of pickleball courts, so there's rarely any waiting. The courts are clean and well-maintained and have nets that are at the correct height. The community is incredibly friendly and welcoming--I've met so many great people. If you're into pickleball, this place is a true paradise.

I've been a member for almost a year and have enjoyed seeing the pickleball options expand. It's been difficult to find lit courts at night around Orange County but not anymore. I've met a lot of great new people and have increased my play time thanks to Los Cab! Happy I joined:)

Can't believe I didn't join Los cab sooner!! Always a great time coming here. Courts are tidy and clean. There's usually plenty of space available if you come early to snag a court. Good value. Difficult to find a bigger facility in southern California with a variety of options. While the pickleball courts are getting crowded, there's plenty of opportunities for lessons from pros or organized play to meet new people. Before joining Los Cab, I had difficulty finding courts and players who also work full-time. Pool and fitness classes are abundant. Great staff.

Before I was introduced to this club, it was so hard to find a place where one can play pickleball continuously due to the popularity pickleball has become. A friend of mine brought me in with her guest pass and i enjoyed the visit. Subsequently, I signed up for free 3-day trial visits and seven months later here I am a member. Since being a member, I had the opportunity to play more regularly which helped built up my game a lot. I especially like the organized ladder games that LC staff created, which enabled members who don't have certain particular groups, to play and best of all, have fun. My shout out goes to Stacey & Carol for organizing & running these ladders and league games so effortlessly. You ladies are not just cool but also great players yourselves & I enjoy playing with you. Also from these organized games came about good friendships created with some of these wonderful women I met. Here's to hoping for the best to come as LC Pickkeball expand more courts.

I am guilty of being addicted to pickleball!!! Before I joined Los Cab, it was difficult to find courts and players. Los Cab has over 30 courts and many members that there is no need to organize a group. If I have a random opening in my schedule, I can always head down to Los cab and find a court and members to play. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Best investment I made to have a healthier lifestyle!

If you love competitive pickleball and a welcoming, friendly environment Los Cab is the spot! The number of quality courts is impressive and the players are top notch. They continue to invest in the facilities to upgrade the experience. There's opportunity to play for all levels through a number of different ladders and leagues - morning, afternoon and evening (thanks to new LED lights). If you're looking to improve your game you'll have access to some incredible coaches and pros who teach and run drills in both small group, private game and lesson settings. It's really helped me level up and reduce my errors. As a former swimmer I'm in heaven having a massive, heated lap pool to jump into. I can always find an open lane. Then use the sauna after to decompress. The people are incredible at Los Cab. Quality experience without attitude at a reasonable price for all the amenities.

Decided to come here with a friend while we were in fountain valley, which happened to be on the same weekend that the PPA Tour was in town. We needed to kill some time before heading home because of traffic so we came to Los Cab to watch some professional pickleball games! Walking in, you can already tell there's such a history in this place. It felt very exclusive and special yet at the same time open. The facility is huge, most of the courts had active games going but we wanted to see some action at the championship court. We paid for center stage view but unfortunately, there's not a lot of seating so for the first 30 minutes, we were sitting on the ground or crouching to see the games because there were umbrellas blocking our view. Eventually, we were able to find some seats at the bottom of the stage which had better views. The only thing is it wasn't shaded so had to suffer through the heat for a bit. Overall very impressed with this facility, would love to come back to play some games here one day!

I've been a member at Los Cab for over 33 years. For most of that time, it's been a great club. However, during the last 2-3 years, the tennis members have seen a significant decline in the quality of the club. The number of tennis courts have decreased from over 20 just a few years ago to the current 13. This has been done for the benefit of the pickleball members. And the new management may be taking away even more courts in the very near future. This situation is bad enough on its face, but to add insult to injury, the tennis members pay the highest dues at this club. We are paying the most money for an inferior product. Attempts to contact management to address our concerns and to discuss the long range plans for the club have only been met with the sounds of crickets. Not surprisingly, there has been a mass exodus of tennis and even some pickleball members. This is NOT how you run a top-tier sports club, but it is the fastest way to run a former great tennis club into the ground!

Just wish loscab new management RE-pain the central court tennis and RE-polish tennis courts as well not just pickckeball courts. Pickckeball are great love it❤️🏓but the tennis courts especially the central courts and courts 18,17,16,15 near the front need to keep up with professional images and look and all the grass area and walk way grass are all dying and there isn’t any flowers grows walk way near swimming pools and pro shop. The new management left it un-care for look so bad hard to get new attraction and all the cabana upstair and the room facing the jacuzzi ( used to have dinning table for team matches goodies for guess teams )and furniture now look terrible unlike the look before. Pickcleball is a great things happening for the sports club and Vince and Mitch and Susan doing outstanding jobs with Pickcleball and organizing to the best but not enough new management club owners and their partnerships need to RE-touch the look asap. Can not just counting on Pickcleball only the new owner need to take care of the club! ! It is look so bad now everything around the club no one take care of or touch up all the spots on central court wall look so bad!👎😱😭it also would be nice that Jay catering still hosting banquet and wedding upstair front like before and towers services for members and table tennis need to have live actions again also the club want to upgrade a open bar restaurant facing the tennis and Pickcleball courts for great attraction the little sandwich shop for food convinirht but not enough attraction to bring the club to first class in Orange County property value. This sports club used to be rate no.1 in Orange County but now????

I've been sneaking into this place for like, the past eight years. I used to be a member when I was in middle school and I went to the aerobics class with my mom. I actually lost weight and started a healthy lifestyle because my mom forced me to go. We ended my membership and yet, the guys at the front desk have sometimes let me slide by.The membership runs at about $51 because my mom has a corporate discount and regular, I think it runs about $66. The place is large - weights and cardio; basketball courts; tennis courts; olympic sized pool; two locker rooms; a nutrition shop; etc. However, you need to pay for some extra (the lockers, towel service, and the tennis courts).I don't know if it's the best place because they need to upgrade their equipment/facilities, but it's not bad and there is a lot of stuff there to use. Certainly a step up from 24 hr fitness and such, but you do pay for it.

Los cab or as some of us call it, "the cab" is the kind of place you have to spend a summer at, do a basketball league at, swim team or just have lived at the facility to really love. Its the kind of place you love and get tired of. The staff becomes friends with the members. Its not uncommon to see the same faces for 10-15 years at a time. Its a family club. Its the kind of place that you want your kids to make friends at. It offers a variety of sport features from the olympic sized swimming pool to the many tennis courts. A little something for everyone. I grew up living there for maybe 2 years after my parents had been members for 4 years and have continued to go back for the last 10. Its never crowded in the fitness area, unless you go the first week of january. The isnt many young hip kids trying to pick a date. People are there to escape, work out, and thats it. No one bothers you, the staff is friendly and they treat you like a valued member. Its like a little brother...yeah its not the perfect gym and one time or two you consider switching but overall, los cab is home. its relaxed and even if the equiptment is not always new, they are upgrading slowly. A person who really wants to work out for the sake of healthy will be able to find a way at los cab.

Los Caballeros is pretty sleezy and tries to put on a much fancier face than it really is. My family used to have a gym membership here, so we spent a lot of time here - especially since I swam for the swim team here. Before I get into all that, I have to say, the people here definitely have character. I used to be pretty tight with a bunch of Vietnamese gangsters who lived in the condos and kept a healthy supply of weed flowing through Los Cab. It's not an uncommon sight to see people hot boxing in their cars like it ain't no thang. Everyone does it - even the pigs. Also, there are a few types of people that go to Los Cab: 1. The really ritzy bourgeoisie types - These people are easy to spot with their sweaters neatly tied around their necks and they super high white shorts and yacht shoes. They won't give you a lot of trouble but are really awkward to interact with.2. Creepers - I swear, there are a lot of creepy old white guys here. I wouldn't say that Los Cab is a kid friendly place... definitely enroll kids in day care or keep an eye out for them. I don't know... I remember feeling uncomfortable around a lot of these guys who tend to like to prance around nude...3. Huntington Beach Bigot - Yeah, there are some Huntington Beach skin heads that find their way over to Los Cab, so if you're a person of color, be wary, they'll give you some verbal smack but it's enough to make me not want to be alone - especially at night. The facilities are okay. The swimming pool is usually super busy with the swim team or old people exercises. The tennis courts are the same way - it's near impossible to find any open spots to play on. The weight room is small and doesn't have nearly the amount of equipment to accommodate everyone who wants to use it. The bathrooms smell funky.I don't know what else to say... a lot of people come here to get their reefer.

Been a tennis member here for a few years. Decent tennis club but the owners like to use the courts for junior tennis tournaments they sponsor to make some extra cash on the side. The problem is these all-too-frequent tournaments fill essentially all of the courts for one weekend and sometimes two weekend so that members cannot get on a court to play, even though we're still paying the monthly dues. I've never seen a tennis club do this to its members. It's like renting a 2 bedroom apartment and 5 or 6 weekends a year the landlord says you cannot use the bedrooms because he rented them out to other guests, but your full rent is still due. I've had enough - I am dropping my membership - not recommended.

Being a member for over 30 years and have not ever had a problem getting a tennis court reservation. One has to call the tennis desk at 8:30 am 3 days prior. I called several mornings recently to try and get a court. The phone rings and rings and then it says it is busy. I had to call back again and again. Basically it has taken me 20 minutes to get through. Most times there are no courts left. I guess that is what happens when tennis courts are continually converted to pickle ball. No wonder members are leaving. I have been a member of the club for 30 plus years. My kids and loved coming to the club and took advantage of all it had to offer, very family oriented. Now that my kids are grown my husband and really have enjoyed the tennis, but under the new management the tennis has really gone downhill. The half the lights don't work. They have promised to fix for the past few months! Also it is hard to get a court and the daytime tennis leagues needed to be reduced to lack of availability of courts. They keep taking out the tennis courts to make new pickle ball courts, which are not all filled during the prime morning hours. The management seems to be all pickle ball and wedding venue oriented. It is a pity they have no concern for loyal paying customers.

Great for tennis and swimming. They don't give two shits about the fitness center and won't pay the cable bill or fix TVs.

This place WAS a great club about 7-8 years ago and now it has been in a steep decline while increasing the prices all around. When we joined there was free childcare for two hours a day, a great restaurant for quick service where you got a credit of $5 per month, and fun seasonal members events for the family. None of those exist anymore. We have a family tennis membership but there is very little for the children to do anymore. Plus my children are young and this is not a family friendly environment. There is signage that you cannot bring a child over the age of 3 into the women's locker room, I don't think that they understand what a 4 year old child can and cannot do by themselves I do not feel safe leaving my 4 or 7 year old into a men's locker room independently to use the restroom or change. It does not seem safe at all. Also the tennis courts have been in decline as they have all been developed into pickleball courts which look nice but I wish they put the same care into the tennis courts. Everything is rented out here as the volleyball courts, basketball courts, pool, and tennis courts are all rented out to high school teams or private teams. On another note pool is no longer heated like it used to be, my son even quit swimming as he said he didn't want to go in the cold water. I hope the renovations happen quickly as we really loved this club and hope they will return it to the fun, classy, family style club it used to be.

This place is overrated! The staffs who work at the membership department definitely need to learn some professionalism. After all, they might have none thus they work there. About the club, the only good thing is the swimming pool. However, always crowded. To use the racquetball and tennis courts you need to pay extra. The lockers are roomy but you have to pay for the keys and towel service. The weight room....if you call it the weight room as there is not much there. The basketball court are always crowded and used for other activities. It tried to decorate like a nice gym but if you look at it carefully then you will see that it is not worth the money.

I completely agree with Kaily H's comments. I have been a member on and off for the past 30+ years. The pool is mostly unavailable to paying members. In the past, one would be able to workout and go for a swim, but now, forget it. NOVA swim has taken over the entire pool, leaving a small area where kids/siblings of NOVA swimmers hang out until lessons are over. This time around I signed up my daughter and she hasn't been able to go for a swim or even play in the pool because it is so crowded. Members are forced to use the back pool (3 1/2ft) if they want to use the pool at all. Seems very unfair. The last time I was there was in 2003 the gym was like a time warp to the 80's. Now, they have made some improvements such as with more modern workout classes with the exception of the pilates studio (carpeted and depressing lighting). Last week I went to take a BARRE class and waited 10 minutes until someone came in and said the teacher wasn't coming and would be changing her time to different days. What happened to finding a sub or letting members know sooner? Super unprofessional. Lastly, It would be nice if one can read a little about the instructors prior to taking their class. The website only shows 4 tennis instructor's bios. Just like anyone signing up for a tennis program, I would like to know the training an instructor has had before I take their class. The H.I.I.T. class on Tuesdays at 4:30 was great and the instructor "Susan" was kind and encouraging :)

Not family friendly at all! They sold off the right to the pool to a swim school that runs the place. So if you want to take your kids to the pool just to have a nice fun family day, you'll be shot dirty looks from the pros. This is not a country club, sports club or even lions club for that matter, it's a profit club. I wouldn't have minded sharing the club's pool with a for profit school if the share was 50/50 as explained in the intro sales pitch. Let me explain what was sold to me and my family and what was delivered. First , the relaxing 3 pools , weight room, yoga classes , cafeteria, tennis etc. You and your family will have fun here and explore lots of activities for your kids. The swim school rents space from the club and will not interfere in your day. Second, this is a family friendly resort, aimed at all experience levels. What we received...The main pool is broken up into lanes, which is fine, I can appreciate that for those choosing to swim for training or excercise. The smaller kids pool is run by the swim school that has an area sectioned off, but the crowd always spills over . Then they take the whole pool for laps. So basically I have my three year old in the pool dodging 10 years swimming for their lives to escape the relentless taunts from their coach and the tiger moms. Horrible and Sad! Lucky I didn't call child protective services. The third pool is used for some other kind of training, senior rehabilitation? You got me. Like another reviewer mentioned the free weight room was cut in half because they sold off those rights too.Meanwhile the membership fees increase??You guys can't have it both ways. The management is either not experienced or greedy, but let the laws of economics teach them. Either have a family friendly sports club or have a rehab, school. They need to know their customer and sell to that customer instead of lying to all that this club is aimed at their needs.

Building caught fire and has been shut down for a year now. No discount for lost services from saunas, lockers, showers, jacuzzi's, etc. Pickleball courts and fencing are deteriorating and inadequate. "Ball On!" is the clubs official slogan. Staff is rude and uncaring to the members. Members are a nuisance to them. I don't see the dated and dying venue lasting much more than a year, two at the most. Don't waste your time or money.

Complaint many time pickleball light broken but not fix. Maybe staffs and manager not care much about much. Teach course keep the course all the time and waits an hour

I used to love going here! USED TO. Beware: Do not let the outside fool you. Over the years, the owner or owners, have really let this place go downhill. This is no longer a fancy or high-end club you can tell your friends about. It's pretty embarrassing if people see the inside of this place. Im actually shock that this place is still open! Especially their "gym." It's worse than a 3 star hotel gym in terms of health and physical appearance. They have leaks everywhere and the rainy season has definitely proven that. The carpet is outdated and constantly wet from the leaking roof. This place can't even afford $5 buckets from Home Depot; instead, they use the public trash bins for their leaks! Due to all the leaks, I'm wondering if there is a mold outbreak somewhere (which can cause serious respiratory issues). Not sure why the health department hasn't come down and shut this place down. They have open power outlets on the floor and it doesn't take an expert to know water (from the leaks) and electricity don't mix well. 40% of the workout equipments is outdated. On top of this, if you come in the evening, the gym becomes a daycare center for kids. The volleyball team takes up almost half the gym and most of the time they are just sitting there chatting. The only thing holding this club together is their new pickleball memberships and courts. Owners rather spend money on a new front entrance/door and Christmas trees than actually fixing the foundation of the place. Go here for a quick workout but don't expect anything more from this "club"

Great club. 2 separate gyms, volley ball and basketball courts, tennis courts and an Olympic size pool. Great place to get your work out no matter what it is.
