Well maintained park and courts. Hoping they add lighting in the future, for twilight play.

If Max Verstappen were to play pickleball , he would say this public court is simply lovely. The 4 courts are individually gated so no more stopping play due to balls from the other courts (well, less so than non gated courts) the challenge court is very fast & competitive so it's fun to watch while waiting for your turn. Nice friendly folks too.
David King: ★★★★★

Bonita Canyon Pickleball has four great pickleball courts. The courts have fences separating the courts so there is no balls going on your court from the other courts, so everyone is safe and no points are stopped. The wind screens are high quality and it helps reduce the wind. I am one of the volunteers that helped build the original Newport Beach courts and I give the parks and rec team a high five for creating this pickleball community. The courts are busy from dawn to dark- filled with happy pickleball players. The park is beautiful with great places for kids and trails for people and dogs. As a IPTA CERTIFIED pickleball teacher.and an obsessed pickleball player - the joy that people have playing pickleball at this park. Go enjoy and put your paddle in the rack so you can rotate in. Paddle up !

It's a great park for outdoor activities, the men's room can use a paper container for drying hands. Only one drinking fountain, that's not good.

Beware of thieves! Had my credit cards stolen silently from my car which was parked in the main parking lot. Went out to play some pickleball and came back to find cash/cards missing. I believe the perps are staking out that particular park and so it’s a high risk area. Unfortunately, I’m not gonna come back.
