Steve Soboroff Court Park in Los Angeles

Summary / Description

Tennis court in ok condition. No lights. There are restrooms here. Typical “park” style restrooms. Parking is very hard on weekends, and the tennis court is always taken. Great spot for tennis and basketball. We call the tennis court “the secret garden”

Really cute park, very well kept and lots of attention to details - the water fountains all in working order, the toilets are clean and there are 3 benches under some trees for people to enjoy a little picnic. 2 basketball courts with seating options to watch the games, and it's steps away from a nice trail. It has a little playground for kids, the only place where dogs are not allowed. Dogs are allowed everywhere else in the park. Not a lot of parking space, and that's limited to the park customers.

Can only speak to playground. Very limited parking (maybe 15 spots at most?) given that there's a playground and sports field/court adjacent. This is the biggest drawback. Bathrooms available right next to parking. Playground itself is nice. Gated. Tot play area as well as play area for older children. Some sheltered picnic tables and some uncovered. Benches all around. Small trail for children to ride bicycles. Grassy area.

Good basketball runs on the weekends! High quality courts, solid rims, just bring your sunscreen because the sun beats down on the courts. Security on site. Unfortunately it closes at sunset, so fall/winter runs end very early. But summer is great.
Michael Martinho: ★★★★★
Great spot for tennis and basketball. We call the tennis court “the secret garden”
Lance R. Greene: ★★★★★
Clean and peaceful. Good sportsmanship practiced while playing basketball. A nice play area for children, tennis courts, a play space for your dogs. More areas should be so nice.
