*update* the manager reached out and made things right and gave me a better explanation on how the cancelations work and resolved another issue that had happened. Giving 4 stars for the manager taking care of my issues and concerns Went in to cancel because we moved and are unable to use our membership. Unfortunately I canceled the day after they took my payment so I understand if they won't refund me this months payment but they are trying to say I will have to pay for next month as well even though we're canceling today. After reading reviews they are basically scaming people with the cancelations to make money off their "memebers". They suggested to drop our membership to a single account so the payment won't be as high. I shouldn't have to pay for another month after canceling.

The members at the gym are friendly and warm. I have made a lot of friends there. But I give the staff one star for their poor service. Through the four years I have been a member with them, I always have a hard time with payments. About two years ago, my work discount with them ended. I asked if I could convert back to their regular monthly dues, but they told me I had to re-enroll and pay the new monthly fees. I was unhappy about it, but stayed for my friends. When it was time to cancel, they did not let me know there would be an extra charge for the following month, when I spoke to them ahead of time. If you decide to use this gym, be very cautious about their payments. They like to raise prices, and they do not appreciate their members.

Most likely going to terminate my membership soon. This club can never seem to enforce their rules. It would be nice if someone would come out of the office every now and then to check the pool area, especially the hot tub. They have a sign posted that reads "Children under 14 not allowed in spa", yet kids are always in the spa. They make it dirty and jump in the water, run around with minimal parent supervision. Today a kid did a cannon ball into the spa. Very cool... Also, their water machine filter was left on red for weeks, told employee it still hasn't changed and they told me it's always like that. Weeks later the filter light shows green. So I was essentially lied to. Not worth the money paid and would rather spend my money elsewhere. Update: Hot tub jets are now broken due to the carelessness of others. Also, water machine by tennis courts have not had filter changed since 12/2023. Staff at Planet Fitness are more educated and nicer than the staff at Brenda. No one knew how to cancel a membership. Pools are also dirty, one seems to be in cleaning every time. Go spend your money elsewhere.

The employees here are so horrible. Not only are they so rude and unhelpful; they are lazy and clueless! I asked for a tour of the gym and she just pointed to the buildings instead of walking me through them. Which was extremely unhelpful considering the size of this gym. I had questions about unusual charges and they took forever to get back to me, the employee said they weren’t sure why those charged were being made that she would have a manger contract me. However, the manager said the same thing, that she wasn’t sure why they were charged. Overall very negative and dirty atmosphere. It needs to be remodeled considering the amount of money memberships are. One of the pools is extremely nasty and green. They cut down so many trees which makes you feel like you’re in someone’s backyard. If you are considering getting a membership here, maybe don’t.

I went to this gym despite reading negative reviews about the staff. Unfortunately, my experience confirmed the complaints. While I was swimming in one of the lanes, a lifeguard jumped in after me and started swimming in the same lane. He then asked me to move because he was doing his lifeguard training. His communication was rude, and he seemed entitled, repeatedly telling me to get out of his way. It seems like the gym is losing members due to the behavior of their staff. I will be informing everyone I know that this is not a welcoming environment, especially for people of color.
