Beautiful gated community that I would love to live in ☺️

Beautiful, but lots of rules!!!!

It's a beautiful lakeside marina and community center but, I believe that permission is needed to enter the area. It looks like a private community.

Lake Wildwood is a wonderful place to live . I have been here since 2018. I love the amenities and social events. Concerts, clubs, fireworks, parties, parks, lake and people. My only complaint is the board and the fact they can’t keep a General Manager. We have been through 4 in 6 years. I heard it’s because they can’t work with the board. I really don’t know. It is a hard job I guess with having almost 3000 homes and all the amenities. I feel we are moving forward, slowly . We are finally going to get a dog park after a lot of push and pull from residents. I still feel like I live in paradise.

The community itself is filled (not exclusively) with entitled residents, with nonsense hypocritical rules. Many car coming out of the community hit and kills the wild animals, and keep going undisturbed. Tennis players are loud and obnoxious but will complain about your noise level. The lake cannot be utilized properly because of obvious disturbing human matters in the water, while they would not let people's dog. Not my favorite, an exclusive place for a lot of out of date people.

I've lived here 3 months and I'm just not sure I'll try to do another review in 3 months... Fast forward 1 year later--I'm outta there. TOOK A BIG LOSS ON SELLING MY ENTRY-LEVEL $300K HOME. Be careful and WISE, even an experienced Real Estate Broker like me was fooled by the low prices of homes here. The HOA is the BIGGEST issue--TOO MUCH OVERHEAD, poorly qualified staff and the RESTAURANT is an embarrassment to friends and family visiting.

It's hot as balls down here,(106°) and it's a dry heat. The H.O.A. wants their annual payment in a check! Can't pay online. I can't use my debit card. They want checks, you know those things you used in the 90s?

Came to visit a friend at the lake Wildwood community, front gate security was rude and acted like she was doing me a "favor" by letting me into the property. Commented that my totally stock late model Dodge Ram pickup truck was "TO LOUD" Didn't make me feel very welcome......
