Clean, pretty space. Great for picnics and parties. Bathrooms are open, drinking fountains are on, and the playground is nice.

We recently moved here and was looking for a park so my dog could run around. This park is perfect. Never super crowded. It's kept very clean. My dog loves rolling in the grass and running. We have only seen a few other dogs there so she really hasn't made any new friends. The people are super friendly.

Lions park is awesome all year around. During the summer you can play baseball, soccer and football in its large field. Dog friendly too but the restrooms are closed during the week but maybe not weekends. I also see a community of people bring care to the disabled here during the week not weekends. Also in the winter it snows sometimes! And people bring their sleds to go down the slopes.
Nathan Wellsfry: ★★★★★
A well maintained public park with a nice 18 hole disc golf park. Hard to beat that. :)

A very nice park but there's a major safety concern with one of the slides on the play structure. There is a gaping hole with sharp plastic edges precisely where one's rear goes. Nothing here to stop someone from running up the stairs, located opposite the damaged slide, and sliding down. Anyone, adult or child who uses this slide WILL get hurt! I reported this issue to the City of Placerville. Hopefully it will be repaired soon.
