Best Tennis and Pickleball courts in Redondo Beach, Los Angeles County for 2026

Anderson Park in Redondo Beach

Summary / Description

2 lighted tennis courts / 2 pickleball courts. In excellent condition. Play pickleball with a wonderful group of people. The group does open play Tuesday, Thursday Saturday and Sunday 8:00-11:00. Anyone who wants to learn and have people to play with are always welcome. Some shade from trees. This 12+ acre park includes a playground, tennis courts & meeting centers for scouts & seniors. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Doors auto lock at 7pm. The tennis courts are good, they need to be a little more care for, but to be free for use they’re great. Easy parking surrounds the area. Lots of parking spots. Tennis courts (there are two) are first come, first-served (no reservations required, but pros giving lessons get preference) and the courts are in pretty great condition! Parking is easy either on the street or in the lot at the center of the park. Like most of Redondo, the vibe is 'family' and 'friendly'. A nice community park with a playground, basketball court and tennis courts.

Great park for the whole family. Kids, tennis 🎾 players, adults, games, pickleball, basketball 🏀, baseball d plenty more!
Juan Torrez: ★★★★★
Its a wide open park and my kids love riding around on their bikes and skateboards! People are very friendly and there's always different ethnicities of people to talk too while the kids are off playing! Its a very safe park and everybody looks out for one another! But people should still keep an eye on their kids. Great park!

Socal parks can be hit or miss but I really appreciate the dedicated upkeep here. Very clean and friendly environment. Great spot for birthday parties and stuff like that. Even then it's relatively quiet. Multiple spots for bounce houses, Features several tennis courts, a baseball field with batting cages (you would need to contact someone to schedule time as they are locked) it's a smaller neighborhood park, the maintenance crew should be very proud of themselves.

Excellent park. Very safe. Has an abundance of space and playground
Leatrice Kay: ★★★★★
My kids like the playground, and the surrounding neighborhood seems peaceful. I like that it's tucked away from the main street because it's quiet from traffic and safer to walk around the park sidewalk. It has a few tennis courts too. The grass is green and nice enough to sit on.
