If you're looking for a fun, safe and clean place to spend the day outdoors with your family and friends, look no further than this recreational park located in San Diego. This park has everything you need for a great day out, including a playground for kids, picnic tables, dog parks, a baseball field, and even a skatepark for the more adventurous. One of the standout features of this park is how clean and well-maintained it is. The grounds are always tidy, and the facilities are kept in great condition. The park staff clearly takes pride in keeping this space looking its best. Safety is also a top priority at this park. The park is well-lit, and there are always police on patrol to keep an eye on things. Whether you're visiting during the day or in the evening, you can feel confident that you're in a safe environment. In terms of activities, this park really does have it all. The playground is a great spot for kids to burn off some energy, while the picnic tables offer a perfect spot for a family picnic. The dog parks are great for pet owners who want to let their furry friends run around off-leash, and the baseball field is perfect for a game with friends. But perhaps the real highlight of this park is the skatepark. With a variety of ramps, rails, and other obstacles, it's a dream come true for skateboarders and BMX riders alike. Even if you're not a skater yourself, it's worth stopping by just to watch some of the impressive tricks being performed. Finally, it's worth noting that despite all the great amenities, this park is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. You won't have to worry about loud music or rowdy crowds disturbing your day out. Overall, this recreational park is a gem in San Diego. With its cleanliness, safety, and wide range of activities, it's a great spot for families, friends, and individuals to spend time outdoors. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's definitely worth checking out.

The more I skate here the more I find little areas and lines that are fun. It's been pretty chill lately. I read other reviews about homeless and weed smoking but I haven't noticed any of that. There is usually trash first thing in the morning but we just clean that up as there are plenty of trash cans around.

City of San Diego took the old Copley Y bldg and totally rebuilt it to a beautiful Community center with a large gym (basketball) and many meeting rooms, indoor workout gym, and a Senior area. Outside is a large picnic area, skateboard park, picnic tables for the entire surrounding neighborhood. Lot's of parking all around.

Out of 3 of the skateparks I went to in San Diego on a recent vacation, this was by far the best. Fully spaced out park w/ out to much going on to the point that itβs overwhelming (like Linda Vista Park). Plenty of obstacles ( ledges / rails / hubbas / quarter pipe / euro gap / bowl section / mini bowl quarter pipe zone )... basically something for everyone trying to skate.

They though the East side of San Diego was bland, well they though wrong. Ive been to some parks around and none if then offer a grand skate park like this one. Most likely a hidden gem if you're into different wheel based sports like skating, Scootering, Bmx. As well as a Baseball/ Softball park which triples into a doggy park... Whew this place is really active to be so hidden away haha... Enjoy if you drop by early in the morning for jogging.
