5 lighted tennis courts with shaded benches, 8 pickleball courts in Scripps Ranch Swim & Racquet Club in San Diego, California. Upscale tennis and swimming club, offers clinics, private and group lessons, kids summer camps, fitness, spin, yoga and aqua fit classes. Clean and well maintained. Nice clean outdoor swimming pool. Beautiful full size pool area, very clean restrooms. Great patio area for barbecue. Great place for swimming lessons. Ample parking, good amount of lifeguards on duty. Never overcrowded.

Pickleball Open Play Rules

Court 5 Regular Social Play

• Courts 5-1 through 5-4 are for regular social play.
• Place paddles in the paddle holder above court 5-1 until spots open up.
• The winning team stays on court and splits for the next game, losers leave the court and two new players join.
  If players are waiting to play winners leave court after having won two consecutive games.
• When 8 players are waiting, the four on four off rule will apply.
• Use flags to signal new players when needed.
• Stay off courts unless actively playing.
• Age of play is 14+, must know the rules, and be able to play and keep a rally going.
• Please do not walk through courts until the point is finished

Court 6 Competitive Play

• Courts 6-1, 6-3 and 6-4 are regular competitive play.
• The winning team stays on court and splits for the next game, losers leave the court and two new players join.
  If players are waiting to play winners leave court after having won two consecutive games.
• When 8 players are waiting, the four on four off rule will apply.
• Place paddles in the paddle holder above court 6-1 until spots open up
• Use flags to signal new players when needed.

Court 6-2 is the Challenge Court. Players must show up with a designated partner. The winning team must exit court after 4 consecutive
wins if players are waiting. Place paddles in the paddle holder above court 6-1 until spots open up.

Open Play Times:

Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8 am-10 am courts 5-1, 5-2
Every Wednesday 6-8 pm all 8 courts.
Every Saturday 9-11 am all 8 courts.
Every Sunday 6-8 pm courts 5-1, 5-2

Pickleball Guest Fee during Primetime Play Monday-Friday 6-8 pm

To ensure better court availability for members, we have increased the guest pass fee only during busy primetime play Monday-Friday 6-8 pm. Guest passes during this time are $26. 
If a guest plans to be on the court at any time between 6-8 pm Monday-Friday they will need to pay the increased fee. All guests must have a member with them at all times. One guest per member.
