It's been a long time since the equipment at this playground has been updated, and several pieces have been removed when they broke instead of being replaced. That said, it's still a fun place for kids to run around and play, and the remaining equipment is safe. Typical older parents will probably recognize the equipment from their own childhood. It's a sand based playground with a tennis court, basketball court and soccer fields. During the week, there is a co-op nursery school on site, and Grattan Elementary is across the catty-corner, and the school uses the park.
