Beautiful park with many shaded picnic tables. There is parking inside the park via Clary Ave. We started from the Broadway side and there is the red playground. There is a line of about 6 tables heavily shaded with a grill, perfect for summer bbqs or birthday parties. There is a full basketball court right next to it. Next are the handball courts, 4 of them to be exact with nets above to ensure your handball doesn't go flying into the next property. In the middle of the park you will find the pool where they do offer swimming classes. Once you pass the pool area you will find the tennis courts which is divided into two sections. The first section closest to the pool has 4 miniature tennis courts and right next to it is the full size tennis court. Next to that is the other playground that is white and shades of blue. This is right next to the parking lot I mentioned earlier. There is a big grassy area with multiple picnic tables and the grills. Towards the West End of the park there are Cabanas with grills and more picnic tables and animal sculptures that you can climb.

Smith Park has a little bit of everything for family fun. There are 2 tennis courts, 1 basketball court, 4 handball courts, a pool, 2 playgrounds for little kids, and plenty of tables and grass area for picnic. It's also a dog friendly park. I saw many people walking their dogs, and people walking around the park.

Came to check out the pickleball courts. There are four overlays over one if the two tennis courts. The lines are fading but still playable. Saw there courts used. The other one has no net. Wonder if the courts are Bring Your Own Net kind of deal.

Last night at 8pm, a short elderly woman with red coat and brown hair started filming my face with her phone without my consent while waiting in queue for a pickleball court. She got 1ft close to my face. My friends and I told her to stop and evacuated the bench, to which she sat, with blank expression, still pointing her camera at us while we hurried away with our belongings to be closer to other pickleball player groups for safety. When we confronted her and told her to please stop or we will inform authorities, she hysterically yelled “I DARE YOU TO CALL THE POLICE, DO IT, CALL THE POLICE THEN” and other intelligible gibberish. She did not appear mentally well. She was not here for sports nor had children to play in the playground, she was alone. We left the park. Please be careful for this woman and stand up for each other! I am worried she has photos/videos of more people or children who play at the park given there is another review 4 months ago describing a “old dwarf woman”. She has a gray non-iPhone, was around 4ft tall. Be safe and protect your community!
