Amazing tennis camp and the best coaches in a very fun and positive setting. Our 10 year old enjoyed his time so much that he decided to attend the camp for a 2nd week. Highly recommend if you are looking to improve your game, while having a tons of fun!
Cole Dietrich If your kid has even a slight interest in tennis they will have an amazing time!!! ★★★★★

I grew up at the Lake Tahoe Nike Tennis Camp as a kid, back when my Dad used to help run this camp as one of the tennis directors. It's one of the best Nike Tennis Camps in the country and the Granlibakken Resort is a beautiful setting during the summer. I highly recommend this camp to any parent looking to send their child to tennis camp because Tony and Lisa will make sure they have a ton of fun, learn a lot and are well behaved!

This is actually a great place to stay in North Tahoe in terms of amenities and proximity to activities. They have 6 tennis courts, hot tub, pool, gym, ski and sledding and their own restaurant all within the resort. They also have a walkable trail down the street from the resort that leads to other hiking trails and the Truckee bike trail (that leads into town). It is also close to the Olympic Village and about 30 minutes from Incline Village. Right behind the resort is the Tree Top Adventures/Zipline company. Easily drivable to a lot of different places. Extra note: their resort is pet friendly so there were a lot of doggos! The only issue I really had was how thin the walls and floors were though. And I didn't exactly have light footed neighbors either. They spent all night like they were having a party or moving furniture or something. Their footsteps were SO LOUD (thankfully I always have earplugs packed for situations like this). You can also hear people talking in the next room over. Minus the room walls and floor issues though, had a good time!

Our first time in here and I have to say the place is very well kept, nice and clean, rooms are a bit small but they serve the purpose. Waking up here with this views is mesmerizing we will definitely be coming back when the snow comes. They have everything from pool, hot tub and tennis courts.. free breakfast and with a wide variety off things to pick from.. staff is very friendly and helpful...

We went up there when there was a lot of snow! The pathways and driveways were kept clear by staff, who were all pleasant. They addressed all questions and concerns we had quickly and professionally. The pool is heated, the hot tub was hot, so we decided to swim and soak one of the days- it was heaven! We also enjoyed the sauna. They have a hill for sledding and another for skiing- not very big, but enough to give a taste. The tennis court was not cleared of snow. Breakfast was included, and it was delicious! They have lots of fresh fruit and other cooked items like eggs Benedict, sausage, and cinnamon rolls. I was surprised by the extent of their vegetarian offerings too. We went there for a wedding and stayed 3 days. They used a hall and a ballroom, all on site. The whole weekend was so wonderful and convenient! Our room was a king suite, I believe- spacious and comfortable. I would stay there again.

Granlibakken is a very good hotel, with low structures nestled in the greenery, on a large area, inside the forest (hills), with possibility of convenient parking in front of the location of the rooms, suites, or "condos" (for groups, family or work). The breakfast, delicious, very hearty and very diverse for all tastes, is up to the hotel and included in the price of the room. You can have lunch and dinner there, in winter this point is important because the hotel is relatively far from an urban center. The facilities offered (tennis courts, and swimming pool open to a very large hourly range without paying, games for children, especially paid courses in the trees ...) make it extremely pleasant for a stay with family or couple. The proximity to Tahoe Lake and Yosemite Park also make it a relaxing and very pleasant stopover, In summer, the walks in the forest are numerous, and well documented. In winter, snow and cross-country skiing on the whole environment. The hotel organizes banquets, wedding receptions and other...) I will return with pleasure, the question of this hotel being the need to provide for its financing, but all the surroundings are in medium or high prices according to the scholarships.

I'm visiting with my schoolmates. We were randomly assigned houses and rooms. I and few others got the short end of the deal since we were assigned lofts, upstairs "rooms" that overlook the living room. Though we still have our own keys, the only thing we get is a bed, a table with a lamp, and a ceiling fan if you're lucky. Why might you need a ceiling fan if you're covered by snow I hear you ask. Well, if you have the heat on. All the heat from the living room vents rises up to the roof.. Where the loft is. It gets super hot in the loft if the heat is on. Another thing is that you do not get a personal bathroom. You either have to use someone else's bathroom in the house or walk all the way to where the registration office is. Imagine doing that at midnight. Since the loft only has three surrounding walls, you will be disturbed if anyone is watching TV or talking downstairs. I realize so far it has only been a review if the loft instead of the whole resort. So here goes: they have fun events to do throughout the day. Sledding, skiing, bike riding, tennis, gym, hiking. I loved their breakfast, and dinner. I am not a person that always likes outside food, so I was surprised. The lunch was a bit ..ehhh. Anyway. It was a solid stay, just don't out anyone in the loft. It's not enjoyable.
