Nice, quiet location. Friendly staff. The pickleball court is busy with people lined up to play every single morning (not something you see in every park). They also have mini golf, but the main attraction here might be the large heated pool and three covered hot tubs. There is a game room, family room, card room, billiard room, etc. Lots of things to do here to just relax, even though from the outside it might appear to be a sleepy little park. I'll be back.

This place was one of the best we've stayed at! The store has plenty to offer even for your RV not just the food and souvenir stuff. The pool and hot springs hot tubs were fantastic and the kids enjoyed it alot. The mini golf is fun and free. If you plan to play pickleball bring your own or buy from the store I don't see the bounce pad, but our kids really like this KOA the game room was our spot after the pool. The only thing I didn't agree with was the cafe was close in the beginning of June. I'm not sure of that's the "off season" for them but I would have been nice to grab lunch while at the pool. Our site was perfect with the patio and fire pit we roasted s'mores and had a great time. We will definitely come back. Great view, Kid-friendly

Has shared bathrooms/showers, still in individual stalls. Also has personal shower or toilet on other side. Has three jacuzzis, in different temps. A pool, it's warm, not cool. Miniture golf, tennis/pickleball. Basket ball. Horseshoes. Bikes for rent. Rock wall climbing on fri/sat. Evening events, like bingo, movies, or paint. Has a cafe. I lil convenience store. Also, a run area for dogs. And train ride for kids. Just remember to bring something for shade! And make sure everything is windproof. No wood/charcoal fires, so we brought our own gas pit. I really like it. Is dog friendly, but not at pool.

We stopped here for an overnight stay while traveling from California to Arizona at the end of September. Early fall must still be considered the off-season, as there were very few RVs in the campground and the pool facilities were not available. There is a gate house at the entrance to the campground with an exit gate on the left; turn right and head to the end of the road to check in at the office. The campground has a variety of pull-through and back-in RV sites, tent sites, and cabins. We stayed in one of the extra long patio pull-through sites, which gave us more than enough space in the front and back. The entire site was gravel, which was true of most of the sites, and very level. Most of the amenities are located at the front end of the park. The pool and hot tubs are enclosed in the courtyard of a building containing showers and restrooms as well as laundry, meeting, fitness, and game rooms. There is a playground for kids next to the building containing the office and the store, and across the street from the playground is a mini-golf course where balls and clubs are available next to the first hole. In the same area but a little further into the campground, there is a pair of pickleball courts and a decent-sized basketball court with opposing hoops. There is another building with a laundry room and restroom and shower facilities near the back end of the campground, and there are several dumpsters and recycling bins in various locations. There are two separate adjacent dog parks at the front of the campground with a gravel and dirt surface. The line of tall pine trees next to the parks on the west side provide welcome shade in the afternoon. There is not a lot of shade in the park, and the near-constant winds that blow through the area are an impediment to deploying awnings, so I’m guessing RVs that stay here in the summer get quite warm. On the other hand, the lack of trees means you have fairly unobstructed views of the surrounding hills. Given our one-night stay, I only did one speed test with my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna, which told me I was getting 46Mbps down and 21Mbps up, and we had no problem streaming video. The one speed test I did with my AT&T phone showed only 7Mbps down and 1.5up. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

We love coming to the Palm Springs KOA. The best feature is the year round heated pool and spas. My children love renting the banana peel bikes and tricycles. They have a ton of activities - mini golf, pickleball, shuffleboard, playground, biking, etc. We stayed in the tent area. It is very rocky, so I would suggest a tarp for below your tent. The bathrooms and showers are well maintained and located near the tent areas. On the weekends they have crafts and activities for kids. The tent rate is $45 a night, and with all the ammenities it makes for a fun family camping experience at a budget friendly price.

Very nice place. Back-up sites are easy to enter and leave. Dog park has two areas. They have miniature golf, pool and spas, pickleball courts, horseshoes, and a playground. Very pleasant staff.

We checked in for one night and ended up staying a week! Mostly due to the fantastic social coordinator Cindy! She is amazing! We loved this KOA! Our boys (9,11) loved the mini golf, pool, basketball, pool room, one hot pool and the organized activities. Cindy made sure there were fun activities almost every night of the week and we were even lucky enough to take in the New Years Celebrations that she planned. It was so great! We took in a Geocaching course, movie night and bingo. A few small disappointments were that they took the basketball nets down in the middle of our stay which we had been using at least twice a day since our arrival and it had been a great meeting place for the boys to meet other kids. They should have had a basketball (and tennis) signout at the office if they were worried about things going missing or getting damaged. They made us feel that the outside pickleball club was more important than the paying guests. There was some talk of moving the basketball nets to the back of the property in the future - I think this is a mistake, they should keep all the activities in the one area, so parents can easily watch the kids/grandkids and it can act as a meeting place for those travellers looking to socialize. Also they seemed to be unnecessarily strict about kids in the warmer hot tubs and pool table room, even when they was no one else around and the children were being quiet and well behaved. What harm is there in them sitting in a warmer pool and respectfully having a quiet game of pool - kick them out of they are misbehaving or if there are lots of people mulling about? It made us feel we were sitting a bit on pins and needles at times and would have appreciated a little more relaxed approach. All in all this KOA was a wonderful week long experience for us. We had travelled all the way down from Western Canada, had a busy week in California and loved the slow, welcoming pace of this KOA. I cannot say how much we enjoyed Cindy and the rest of the staff that made us feel at home. This KOA has renewed our fondness for KOA's and going forward we will be seeking out only a KOA in the future. Thank you for such a great vacation!

I stayed a month over the winter and really enjoyed my stay. The site was level and the hookups worked fine. The park is very large, and my dog loved to explore the park. It wasn't overly crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful. I really loved the hot spring hot tubs. The weather was top notch. I would definitely stay again.

Very clean and quiet campground with lots of amenities available. We stayed one night in mid-June and appreciated having full hookups for our camper in the hot, windy desert. Spacious sites and a decent amount of trees for shade. I originally paid the extra fee to reserve a particular site that I thought was going to be nice and shaded (hadn't been here before). When I arrived, the host was nice enough to let me know that site would have no shade so she refunded me and put me in a better spot! Nothing within walking distance but about 15-20 min to Palm Springs & Joshua Tree NP

Lovely place but a little hap-hazard ..šŸ™ƒ . There's some great Wi-Fi lovely outdoor wilderness look very well kept and cared for RV resort and camping grounds. was a swimming pool and recreation for kids .. just a little bit touchy on the compliments and securities..., the gates and doors take key code to get in and out of except for the swimming pool gate locked and I had to climb over it..😨

We came in the beginning of May, while this is techincially their off season, the staff kept the place up to par. We loved the pool and the 3 spring Jacuzzi! absolute Bliss!!! it was very slow and we had the pool to ourselves 95% of the time. They have a very nice mini golf course HIGHLY recommend! it is pretty windy in May, but they have great sites in towards the back with large trees that give plenty of shade. It was about 20 min to shopping and food, but we didn't mind the drive. The laundry rooms were decent but did bring quarters, there is no machine in there for change. Or you can also download the app and upload $10 credit

Our month-long vacation at Palm Springs/Joshua Tree KOA Holiday campground has come to a close, and we were thoroughly impressed with the beautiful setting. The campground offered full hookups with a consistent water supply, and the mountain views were breathtaking. The office was open daily, and a general store was available for any forgotten items. On-site amenities included mini golf, a playground for kids, a heated outdoor pool, and 3 a hot spring jacuzzi., with different temperature settings Mini rooms were also available for entertainment, including reading and gaming, and food was served on weekends. A diverse range of entertainment options was offered weekly, including movie nights, dancing, bingo, and superball parties, ensuring a fun experience. While the facility was clean, some updates, such as remodeling the pool area, showers, and bathrooms, would be beneficial to address issues with water pressure and temperature control. Overall, our first experience with KOA was very positive, and we would like to express our appreciation.

Very nice campground close to Palm Srings, and easily accessible for a day trip to Joshua Tree NP. Well maintained, friendly staff, mineral springs-fed swimming pool and hot tubs (3). Other activities as well for children and adults, with a very good on-site cafe serving Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Beautiful desert for exploring right across the street. Great experience.

Had to come in one day early and they said I couldn't have my site and I had to take what was available which was an up sale. When I got there, a day early, the park was pretty empty. For the days I was there it remain empty and several cheaper pull through were empty. The location was convenient and clean but I feel that they took advantage of my situatiin.

Close to a great first stay here in June 2025 for 2 nights despite the soaring temperatures of 118°F. Poor air conditioning unit worked extra hard to keep us cooled. Leveled back-in lot No. 50 made it easy to set-up my Class A motorhome and extend my slide outs. Good facilities and hookups for 50 amps, sewer, and clean water. Low occupancy at this time. On my next visit in August 2025, the park continued to have low occupancy and high temperatures. Another guest was assigned in close proximity, which makes me wonder why the attendant could not spread out the lot assignments. This also happened on my initial visit. At back-in lot No. 37 this time of all lots, the stay wasn't quite as satisfying. The lot was not leveled and tilted to the side of the slide outs. It tilted even more when the slide outs were extended so I had to retract them back in to be on the safe side. This lot is inconveniently close to the pool, garbage bin, and dog park, and received a lot of foot traffic. Rating drop from 5 to 3 stars, unapologetically.

The campground was just ok. For a KOA, we were a bit disappointed. Employees were not very friendly, very curt, just doing a job type. Pool could use a serious cleaning. I doubt we'll go back.

Our favorite koa, very peaceful, large rv spots however we will not visit again because the customer service is awful! I was advised to speak with Erika, manager she never called me back or returned my emails regarding concerns I had with their poor service. Paula was amazing though, very friendly and customer focused. The owners didn’t even return my messages that the koa reported they had contacted the owners directly. Again no call backs. Clearly they do not care about customer concerns. After traveling to this location many times per year nearly 10 hours, it’s unfortunate they don’t care enough to have returning customers. If you are looking for good service look elsewhere.
