Beautiful park in the hills! Two large turf soccer fields, hockey rink, 3 basketball courts, pickleball, picnic tables under a gazebo, 2 tennis courts, playground with swings, sand and zip line. This park also connects two trails - one to Sunset Park and also the Grand Ave Trail that follows a tunnel under the road to the trail. There are bathrooms, water fountains and dog water stations. There is also an AED life saving station near the tennis courts.

This is a really nice park. There are trails if you like to hike. I have been through the trails many times, and its a good challenge. We went to play pickleball, and the people who had the court were amazing. I am a beginner, and they were so happy to help team me up with others who were at the same level. Great place for kids at the playground as well. Playground: Great for little ones. Restrooms: Clean and well kept

They got everything you really need. Soccer, basketball, pickleball, hockey, large playing field, playground, and trails to hike on. Great place to also play pokemon go (pogo), mostly red and blue gyms here. Total 5 gyms and 11 pokestops. Super well lit at night as well. Basketball court lights will turn on around 6:15pm (already super dark by this time) and will turn off around 9:50pm. Tennis Court lights turn off at 9:45pm. Gates lock at 10pm.

Great soccer, basketball and playground areas as well as access to the sunset and grand avenue trails, but anyone claiming there are pickleball courts here is sadly mistaken

The pickleball courts were closed due to covid. But it didn't state that on the website so we drove 30 mins for nothing. Pretty disappointing

Nice big park with many surprises such as tennis courts, walking paths, mountain trails, basketball courts, huge soccer fields, picnic areas, restrooms, kids playground...it's got it all! Weekend parking is very crowded though...only downfall. Otherwise it is a great family sports park! Playground: Nice kids playground. Restrooms: Yes. Dog-friendliness: Yes. Picnic area: Yes

This is a perfect park to bring your whole family and friends to. It has a full soccer area and tennis courts, and it also has a trail that you can take. There is also a children's area where they can play and several gazebos and places I believe you can have cookouts at. The park gets very busy on the weekends but it does have a lot of parking spots.
Babs Sheng: ★★★★
Came for a 3 mile hike. Not much to see but what do you expect lol. No shade at ALL! Great workout though… the inclines were crazy. Definitely felt it in my knees afterwards. Dogs enjoyed it. The park itself seems very well-kept lots of green and basketball courts… soccer field… tennis court… tiny courts for…. Squash? That new game that’s played on a mini tennis court haha.
SoCalAshley: ★★★★★
Absolutely beautiful park! Something for everyone. Soccer field, tennis courts and basketball courts. Has a nice field separate from the soccer field for the little ones to run and a large playground area. Exceptionally clean park.

Great park to go for a walk, they have trails, basketball ball courts and tennis courts. They have a huge soccer field, playground, and plenty of room to walk around. We go for our family walks and to take our dogs out for a walk to get exercise and fresh air. Dog-friendliness: It's a very dog friendly park. Picnic area: They have a covered picnic area with grills

2 full size soccer turf. Brand new and well maintained. There are well organized seasonal soccer leagues weekends and some weekdays. Two tennis courts with lights. One basketball court. Lots of playgrounds for kids. Beautiful hiking trails around. Lots of parking available. It's very clean and safe. I am not sure if pets are allowed here but since it's very clean and lots of kids are around I doubt it's a dog park. Thank you Chino Hills!

Huuuuuuuge park with so much to see and do. They got a rink (that's some Rockefeller center stuff right there), tennis courts, basketball courts, beautiful trails, feels like I could go on for days. Between here and Pantera the locals always have a dope park to hang at.

I played soccer at this location for years. There are 2 fields for 11 v 11 regulation format games. The artificial surface is somewhat better than in other parks around here (greener if you wish, smoother, and leveled enough) but on a hard end of a spectrum. Players in 35+ leagues in general mention that hardness of the surface impacts the joins, so be warned. As for the adult soccer league (35+ men Bronze division) - I have bitter/ sweet feelings about it. The city dictates the regulations to the referees, and that makes quite little sense to me from the player's point of view. Examples are from what counts to be a forbidden slide tackle, to a reasoning behind disciplinary actions (in case of cards, and resolutions of the issues steaming from physical alterations or playing not registered players). As a result I would rate the city driven referring with two stars only. The park itself always had good vibes for me. Hence my rating. Playground - exists, but I could not tell you much about it. Picnic gazebo - exists. Restrums are standard IMHO. Nothing noticable. Dog friendliness - yes I would say so. There are basketball hoops, a hockey court, tennis courts, a trail, two soccer fields, and some trees. I visit this park with pleasure.

The direction is a bit off if you come from the east. There is a traffic sign with ltraffic light for keft turn into the park's parking lot located right off of the Grand Ave. You DO NOT NEED to drive past the light to make a u turn very far down the hills and the next light. I don't know how to get Google to fix the pi s on the direction and will try to figure it out but the minus one star is not just for the direction (-1 ⭐), but also for the private coaches using tennis courts longer than an hour (-1⭐). The +1⭐ is for the Grand Avenue hiking trail that we ended up doing instead of tennis. There is a fairly nice view of the mountains in the background, the greenery and wild flowers are withering and turning brown, when we went, there was a nice breeze.
Daniel Sarmiento: ★★★★★
Two playgrounds at this park: one for smaller and one for bigger kids. Has two tennis courts, hockey rinks turned into basketball courts, and a large soccer pitch.

Today was my kids first visit. And it was such a memorable experience for us all! This park has a great trail that leads you over to the other side of the street by going through this rounded tunnel in which they all enjoyed. Talk about a good nature walk as we passed through scenic routes where you can hear the birds in the trees. The trail leads to a top of the hill overlooking the whole park! This park also contains 3 amazing looking playgrounds!! And a nice trail surrounding the park itself! The view from some of the trails is just amazing!! Overlooking the green hills!! Everyone who was there were all friendly ! If you like watching soccer.. they had several games going on for you to enjoy! If you love sports to play. This park offers a variety of basketball courts to racquet ball to tennis courts!! If you like the outdoors and love a good breeze this place is for you!!
Brian Wong: ★★★★
Very clean, well kept kids playground, artificial grass soccer fields, tennis courts x 2, full court basketball courts. Restrooms are decent for a public park. But the best part was the dirt trail. Walked, light hiked the dirt trail during winter and the hills we're green, sky was blue, weather in the mid 60's. . Perfect for a Sunday morning stroll. Will be back!
Nirali Patel: ★★★★★
They recently renovated the park. As a kid, my mom and I liked to go to the swings and play set and sit on the grass. The grass is new and they have tennis courts, basketball and racket ball courts. It is also close to a lot of good hikes and has a good walking trail around the park.
Richard Uranga: ★★★★★
I'll be generous and kind and give 5 stars because they re modeled and touched up this park and my children really like going to grand Avenue park, it is a distance away from home. The park has everything it has a soccer field, has playgrounds, has picked me carry is, and a great couple of tennis courts, and a small playground for small children. The best part is that there is a small facility that is for the community as well as an amazing trail around the premitur that you can run and jargon. There's also a trail that goes off into a nature trail to another adjacent park it is a good 3 mile hike. It's it is a great amazing park in a great amazing location in the most serene and beautiful area in Chino Hills. I should definitely go there more often just to run and train, and appreciate how wonderful it is.

Clean & well maintained neighborhood park. Ample parking. However, it can be challenging to find a space during the weekend. You will find - 2 soccer fields -tennis courts -basketball courts -hockey rink -playgrounds -public restrooms -walking path around the permiter. In addition there are picnic benches. as well as a gazebo with picnic tables. A reservation is required for gazebo. There are also 2 trailheads adjacent to park -Grand Avenue Trail & Sunset Trail. Grand Avenue Trailhead is located on the Eastside of park. It ascends from Grand Avenue in a Easterly direction and descends to Chino Hills Parkway. Sunset Trail Trailhead is located along the path on the south side of park. It ascends from Grand Avenue Park in a Southerly direction through the hills to Sunset Park. Both trails have sweeping views. There is no shade on either Trail. However, there is another Trailhead named Oak Grove Loop which is to the right along the ascent to Grand Avenue Trail. That trail is a .75 mile loop which descends into a shaded canyon. Overall the park and trails are a place great and location for individuals, families, pet owners, hikers and athletes. 6/2003 Still a great location. No major changes to report. Playground: Ample playground area with swings. Restrooms: Restrooms are located on the west side of park. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of room for dog walking. Picnic area: There is a covered picnic area However, reservations are required to use space Otherwise, there are picnic tables nearby

One of a kind. If you’re a basketball player, these are probably the best outdoor courts you will ever play on at a public park. Also recommend the trail that goes outside the park. Entrance is at south side behind the tennis courts.
