Best Pickleball courts in Napa, Napa County for 2026

4 new dedicated pickleball courts by the Cinemark movie theater in South Napa Century Center in Napa, California. No lights.

New Century Napa Pickleball Courts are open daily sunrise to sunset or 8:00 PM (whichever comes first) and free for public use. From 7 a.m. to noon, courts 1, 2 and 3 are reserved for open rotational play. Court 4 is first-come, first-served, with a one-hour time limit.

The Century Napa Pickleball Courts include parking, and a drinking fountain. Portable restrooms are not included.

The new courts were constructed through a partnership with the Gasser Foundation, and will be operated by the City of Napa Parks & Recreation Department.

The courts are temporary under the provisions of the use permit. While the duration of availability is not yet determined, the City wants the community to understand they are not permanent.

Court Rules

• Open 8 AM to 8 PM (May-August).
• Open 8 AM to sunset (September-April).
• Athletic shoes only on courts.
• Drinking water only on courts.
• No dogs on courts.
• No food on courts.
• No bikes, scooters, skates/skateboards on courts.
• No leaning on nets or windscreen.
• No private lessons, clinics, or commercial services unless approved.

Pickleball Court Rules

• No backpacks or gear on courts.
• No spectators on the courts, players only.
• 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, daily:
  • Courts 1-3 reserved for open rotational play. Court 4 is 1st come, 1st served, with 1-hour time limit.
• 12:00 pm – Sunset (or 8 pm), daily:
  • Courts 1 & 2 open rotational play.
  • Courts 3 & 4 1st come, 1st served, with 1-hour time limit.
  • When not in use, Courts 3&4 may be included in open rotational play.
    These courts shall be relinquished to any waiting groups of 4 at the end of a match.

Open Rotation Rules

6 or fewer players waiting = 2 on, 2 off. When a game is complete, winners stay on and split
(unless one has been on the court for 2 consecutive games).
7 or more players waiting = 4 on, 4 off.
