Nice park with big playground, tennis/pickleball, basketball, softball/baseball, etc.
Phil A: ★★★★
Another very nice park in Alameda that I either start my runs from or run through!! Located right next to Otis elementary school, this park has lighted tennis courts and multiple softball fields, which are a major place for softball games on weekends!! There's also some ping pong tables, picnic tables, a playground, and restrooms here!!
Mxd Chx: ★★★★
Very nice park. Clean. There are a baseball field and tennis courts here as well. The restrooms are new and fairly clean. Playground: The playground is clean and a decent size, especially compared to some others in the area.
Bryce Hodge: ★★★★★
My sons love visiting Krusi park. In fact, my oldest son learned to walk on the tennis courts here. As little ones, they would play on the toddler climbing structure and in the sand pit. Now my older son loves the larger play structure. He requests we come here often.
Ebrahim Forati: ★★★★
Tennis courts aren’t in best shape, lots of cracks.
Anna Z: ★★★★★
What I like about this park is is that it has 2 playgrounds. For older and for younger children. Bathroom situation got an upgrade in recent years. There is a little stage for children, a baseball diamond, green area for soccer practice or dogs, a tennis court and some picnic tables.
Greg Murphy: ★★★★
Wish ARPD would resurface the tennis courts - looking forward to utilizing the upgraded lights over the next few months...
D. H.: ★★★★
Has a bit of everything, larger fields, base/softball diamonds, tennis, toddler area, etc. Having only on-street parking adds the challenge.

a review from @amom2kidsandapark This park has so much packed in! It’s next to a school so when school isn’t in session the gate is sometimes opened and there’s access to the blacktop including blacktop games and basketball hoops. There are four baseball/softball diamonds, tennis courts, a ping pong table, shuffle board, nice bathrooms (with changing table), picnic tables, and mini stage plus the awesome play area. The play area is broken into two sections- a large structure play area and a small structure play area. The large area has the EXPANSIVE structure a long wobbling balance beam, a swing set with standard only swings (long chains for high flying). The structure has four different sections connected by monkey bars, bridges or tunnels. There are three slides (a short, a spiral and a tube), steps, ladders, activities, monkey rings, monkey bars, tunnels, bridges, sliding pole, gymnastics bar, step climbing wall, and look out bubbles. There’s so much… at times it felt like too much if that’s even a thing 🙃 The smaller area is somewhat gated (not all the way. Only a few openings) and it is very spread out. There a small structure with three slides (short, double, and tube), steps, ladders, tube tunnel, look out bubbles and activities. In this play area there’s also a balance beam, an arch, a bucket swing set, a sitting hut perfect for a quiet break and …. My favorite part… a dragon feature that appears to be swimming in the ground and then its head pokes out of the sand box 🐉 my sisu loving kid was thrilled (also doubles as a climbing feature). Near the sand box is a wonderful covered sitting area with picnic benches. Something Ive noticed at this and other Alameda parks, is a sign near the playgrounds saying “food free area” explaining that some playground friends have food allergies and it’s important everyone is safe. Such an awesome idea. Way to go Alameda Parks @playarpd 👏🏼👏🏼 Street parking on Otis Dr, High St, Calhoun St or Court St.

Krusi Park's name is posted on High Street. Yelp lists address as being Otis Drive. It's next to Otis Elementary School. looks like win-win for the community and the school kids. both can use the facilities. didn't see a parking lot. much street parking available. amenities: children's play area(2), baseball fields, basketball court, picinic areas, concrete stage area, table tennis table, tennis courts. sand pit, lots of greenery notes: -a plaque on otis st. side denotes krusi park as the home for the world champions of the 1985 babe ruth world series-alameda babe ruth all stars. -street parking
Kent L: ★★★★
Like this big park, especially the tennis courts which are well maintained and not over-busy. Did not have to wait on a Sunday afternoon in September. Not sure if the lights work at night, did not check to see.
Pat C: ★★★★
A lovely park with a huuuuuuge play structure intact 2 play structures , a lovely clean sandpit, swings for babies and regular swings, vast fields and some very well kept first come fist served tennis courts. I don't know if there are toilets there , my toddler's activities did not provide me if the much needed break to find and use them.
Trinity T: ★★★★★
Adorable neighborhood park adjacent to an elementary school. Park on the street and walk on in. Great for after your visit to Alameda Beach, right down the street. Baseball diamond, lighted tennis courts, picnic tables, newer bathrooms, 2 play structures, and basketball hoops. The smaller play structure is gated so your little toddlers don't easily escape. There's a sand pit, which the kids love and plenty of things to climb on. Puff the Magic dragon runs through the little kids play area. I really liked that the bathrooms were still open past 6pm (past sunset). What a gem!!
Emi J: ★★★★★
This Krusi Park adjacent to the Otis Elementary School as well as home to three baseball diamonds (where both boys baseball and girl softball teams practice at) 2 tennis courts, 2 semi enclosed playground structures infant/toddler swings and big kid swings and a very large spacious grassy area. Many team parties and birthday parties are often held here. Another wonderful plus is the BBQ grills and park tables and benches. The four basketball hoops could use new nettings from the ARPD. The picnic area by the dragon sand area can be rented per hour basis at a semi discounted fee if you are a resident of Alameda. In the summer there is a lot of sun shine here. In the late fall and winter it could be more breeze. What would be most ideal addition is perhaps a heated Year round community pool! I am a dreamer

We live about equidistant to both Krusi Park and Lincoln Park in Alameda. There are two playground areas with separate play structures and swings: one for smaller kids/infants and the other for the big kids. Our daughter is almost 4 now and pretty much bounces between 3 spots, but big swings, the baby swings and the sand pit. She just can't get enough of the swings at this age. There is also a small plastic playhouse which the kids love to sit in and pretend to have birthday parties. P.S. The restrooms are gross, but that's pretty typical so not factored into my rating. We love Krusi because it's sunny, big and safe. The park has picnic tables (some with shade) and BBQ grills, tennis courts, software fields open grass and shares grounds with Otis Elementary. All in all a lively, welcoming spot for families.
Daniel Flores: ★★★★
This was of firs time at the park. We came to bringing our daughter so she can play for an hour before we went to get lunch. The park is big with lots of fun games for the kids. One thing we liked is that it had super clean bathrooms. The play ground can use some updates im the rides are older and worn down but overall its a great local park.
Nikole M.: ★★★★★
I grew up right around the corner from here, the play ground is still the same as it was when I was a kid. Lovely school and lovely playground 8/10
Carl Kleine-Weischede: ★★★★
A recreational family Park in the neighbourhood of Alameda. Huge place and well maintained. There are picnic tables around. Dogs are roaming around and I don’t really think it’s still safe for children when dogs are around the Park, although they say that you can call violators. This place gets full on weekends. The park is just within Frank Otis Elementary School.
