Best Tennis and Pickleball courts in Rancho Santa Fe, San Diego County for 2026

As a member I had the misfortune of getting a room for my mother here. Stained carpets, smell of mold, humiliation.

Terrible Terrible night!! So bad we checked out at 2:15 a. m.! Came into town from L.A. on Friday for a Saturday wedding weekend excited and looking forward to hanging out in beautiful Rancho Santa Fe, CA with family. We were disappointed to find the rooms outdated… Our hotel room door was not sealed to protect against fire spreading and fire smoke should one occur (scary), light from hall came into out room, & to top it off the bed was horribly firm, plus the carpet had a couple of tears in it & all the noise from the hall came in as if folks were in our room. Not the kind of hotel we expected for the area and the price! But it got worse! At about 11:00 pm a large group of young people arrived yelling & laughing up and down the hall way, slamming doors, stopping by our door and carrying on as if it were day time. We had just settled ourselves and our two dogs down for the night after our long drive when all that noise happened, but we figured it would die down. At 12:30 we were awoken by slamming doors again, these same young people continued partying and running up and down the hall, yelling and laughing. Our dogs started barking and it was rediculous. We called the front desk to report the issue and they said they would ask those guests to quiet down. We settled down only to be awoken again at 2:15 am with the same commotion. Another call to the front desk only to be told they would ask them to quiet down again… WHAT!! We checked out at 2:15 am. DON’T stay at La Valle!!!! It is outdated, not fire safe, and not where you want to go if you want to sleep!!
