Public bathrooms, tennis course, greasy area.

This is such a great secluded beach. It’s super clean and the small city it’s in is so charming and everyone is so nice. It’s comforting to see that even in mainly white area, I felt very comfortable and welcomed. There are plenty of equality and BLM signs up everywhere through this city and the drive in. I loved everything about this beach!

First of all, this is the Bolinas Beach you want to get the directions to. The other one gave me all sorts of incorrect streets to turn on. Went for a spontaneous drive to this beach cause I heard it was dog friendly and it sure was! Every dog was pretty much off-leashed. I went on a Tuesday and so the beach was pretty empty and I had no issues with parking but I can see the potential for parking being an issue. There's another entrance to the beach closer to the Bolinas Rod & Boat Club which I prefer because the water on that side had less waves and was more like a lagoon. Seems like a good place to for beginner surfers too. There were lots of younger surfers out there today. The surrounding neighborhood is quaint. There are some small shops and restaurants in the "Downtown" and I even came across a pickle ball court as I was walking around. There are no public bathrooms just FYI. I'd definitely come back here again but never on a weekend! Oh and bonus...on the drive over, I came across Marin Cheese Co. and got a sandwich!

Great beginner beach for surfing and on certain days good all around. Parking a challenge, especially on weekends, so get there early

No parking, its a nightmare, but its worth it to have my dog be able to run around off leash. This beach has a lot of wash up natural debris on it. Lots of rocks, driftwood, sticks. You'll need very calloused feet or your flip flops on to walk around here without getting your feet hurt.
