This is a wonderful park and I'd recommend to any parents of children looking to have some playground fun outdoors. The park is large with a vast open grass field, lots of shade trees, a large playground area with climbing structures and swings, some benches and several picnic tables. Located on a hilltop, there is an ocean view from the playground. There are also tennis courts and restroom facilities, but I didn't use either of these so can't comment on those. The park was very well maintained and clean. The playground equipment appeared new and was in great condition. I took my 4 year old son and 9 year old daughter to this park one afternoon while vacationing in Newport Beach area from out of state. We had done beach, tide pools, theme park and Balboa Pier/Fun Zone/Island and were looking for some nice playground to exercise and enjoy the beautiful weather. This park and playground were awesome. Both my 4 year old and 9 year old loved it, but my daughter did comment that more swings would be nice. There were lots of other children and mothers at the playground area, I assumed mostly locals. We went on a Friday afternoon and there was ample street parking. Definitely give this park a try if you're in the area with little ones that want to have some playground fun.

Love this Hidden Gem, behind a cinder block wall on PCH, is a huge soccer pitch, tennis courts, basketball court, kids Jungle Gym, Bonsai Garden, with a view of the harbor to boot!

If you have kids, then this park is perfect. It has futball field, basketball court, tennis courts, kids playground, bbq grill and tons of space.

Mom went to Newport Center for shopping, and Dad took the children to exercise, play and have a picnic in this park. You can play tennis, football, and baseball. The bathroom is relatively clean and parking is on the roadside. The facilities and equipment for children to play are also relatively complete. All in all very good. You can see the sea, which is great!

Cute little park with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. With nice playground sets (see saw, swingsets, slides, spring rider etc.) it’s great for kids.

Nice park and playground. And perfect soccer field. They ofter do soccer games on weekend so if you want to practice come during the week to enjoy the grass. No dog are allowed here by the way. Be sure to leave your pet at home. Stay safe! Playground: Good for kids up to 8. Restrooms: There are restrooms here

a little park inside a quiet neighborhood. big, open, flat, grass field for little league soccer. has a bathroom and a filtered water fountain. its next to a pretty busy road [PCH] but, it is separated by a wall. has decent shade and a few benches. there's a playground set at one end also.

Beautiful view, green areas are great BUT.. there are spider webs and trash in the play area. I have a 20 months old baby that loves to climb and we got spider web in our hands with every step ...😫😫 …

If you have really little kids, avoid this park. There is a small play structure, but if your kid is anything like mine they will go straight for the gigantic play structure that will give you an instant panic attack. It has extremely steep stairs and several openings on the sides that they can easily fall from. Aside from that, it's really clean and in a quiet area with an ocean view.

Too much soccer here. Locals parks sacrifices it's greens and grass areas . It's summer august and field is closed so soccer can come an ruin the open space and grass. With the tax phase raise around here the locals really get a bad deal. Please take your soccer to a proper area . People live here . Yeah and never want or think of soccer. Your would be surprised. None is wants thier fields torn up by soccer. Simple as that yet a place to be ina park is a battle ...very lane city manager to keep this up. Summer and field again closed as soccer ruins the locals playground. Go away soccer please. Nobody wants thier fields torn up year after year

Need to ticket dogs off leash , local owners are in shock it matters that your stuff is not fair game for their dogs and it's expensive. Zero tolerance to dogs off lease with time limited with soccer,The in way to enjoy park .drunk guys walk dogs
