Plenty of Pickleball courts (7). Not too crowded, was able to get on and play with ease
    John Frantzen: ★★★★
    Lots of pickleball courts.
    Tanya Lorimore: ★★★★★
Great community space with lots of grass & trees to relax. Park is clean and well used by local community. Tennis, basketball, pickle ball, baseball & more. Protect Edison PARK
    Dallas M: ★★★★★
This is a great park with something for everyone. The grounds crew are top notch. They just added some pickleball courts which are from fantastic. It's easy to get to court here currently because few people know the courts are here, but soon it'll be tough to get them because they're such nice courts. Dog-friendliness: It's a great place to walk dogs. All of the people get to know each other, the dogs get to know each other, and do a problem here and all the years of visiting with my dogs.
    Healey Patrick: ★★★★
This is a nice little park but is run down a little bit and the city doesn't have the funds to upkeep it. There's four tennis courts and two are open the other two are dilapidated. They could open them up and it would still be playable they're just not in the best condition. They've taped off a pickleball court on some cement but the tape is coming up and there's no net. There are handball squash courts that are outdoor style with open backs that are not being used but would be fun to play in but they're very filled with leaves and stuff. be a good part for a picnic if you are looking for somewhere to just eat and throw the frisbee.
    George Young: ★★★★
Nice park but needs real Pickleball courts and revamped tennis courts. It’s better now without the “camping” folks. Safer.
    Natalie McCann: ★★★★
Tennis courts are pretty tied up with lessons. Looking for a ball-wall and you should be able to find one
    Paul Fely: ★★★★★
Lots to do. Great for large groups. Softball, tennis, basketball, raquetball, and more.
    Alexander Kosheliev: ★★★★
Nice park for a walk or playing sports - basketball and tennis.
    Perry Clitheroe: ★★★★★
Most weeknights there are multiple courts of pickup basketball playing here, starting between 6-7PM. The concrete is well maintained with no cracks or potholes and the nets get replaced quickly when torn making it one of the best park pickup experiences around. Ranging from beginner to intermediate, the concrete keeps away (or at least tempers) the hi flyers, and the atmosphere is friendly. Lights will go off due to rain, or at 1015PM.
    christopher wolfe: ★★★★★
They finally cleaned the park up where the pic nic tables were & some good homeless hung out at but a lot of careless homeless addicts whom threw trash on the ground when there were trash cans right next to them are gone!! They built a lil mini begginner/intermediate street skateboard coarse there specifically for street skating no vert ramps nor pools unfortunately but its a start
    Scott Smith: ★★★★
Overall, the park is nice. The community center has just been remodeled. However, the outside is beat up and sinking. They are planning on a massive redo. Can't wait until it is done.
    Shanna Ricker: ★★★★★
Edison Park is a bright idea! Great park with lots of well manicured landscape. You can sit on a beautiful bench along the sidewalk under a whispering willow tree that softly dances in the wind. Great for pets with plenty to sniff. Conveniently placed pet poop bags and disposal stations add to the parks pristine grounds. A great place for casual canine socializing. Feeling active? Have sone energy to burn? Want to practice you skills? Edison Park has an abundance of opportunity! Several baseball diamonds, tennis courts, handball, lots of basketball courts, play grounds for the kids. Picnic beneath the mighty shade trees. Enjoy the day out doors!
    Jim Kara: ★★★★
Another good, good sized park in the City of Huntington Beach! The large city park has just about everything. There’s a community center with restrooms. There’s tennis, handball and basketball courts. There’s playgrounds, a skatepark, baseball fields, and plenty of open green space to play an impromptu game of football or soccer. This park for it’s size seems to be lacking unsheltered picnic tables. The few roof covered spots tend to get taken on busy days, so additional shade tree or open space tables may be in short supply. There are park benches however, tho it may be preferable with some to just plop down here on the grass! Also, for the popularity of the skatepark at the times I’ve seen it, there was a lack of bowl space that could’ve been dug out for more experienced skaters. Parking is available along Hamilton Av or in either of two lots off of Magnolia Street.
    Karen Denise: ★★★★★
Beautiful Greenspace.. Bbq area w/ Sinks and Shaded Picnic Spots. Gorgeous Eucalyptus Trees.. Playground, Tennis, Baseball and Cement Walking Trails.
    Brian Neach: ★★★★★
What to say about a park? Well, it has softball fields, basketball courts, handball courts (used for tennis practice and racquetball), tennis courts (4, but 2 are closed, and the other 2 I would call decent), bathrooms that are generally clean, skateboard areas, and grass. So as far as parks go it is pretty awesome.
    Andrew Nunez: ★★★★
Great place to play basketball, racketball, tennis and all the courts are all in close proximity to one another which makes it very convenient. No long treks back and forth if you want to switch up the sport from basketball to tennis or racketball. You can play all three with how close the courts are.

Love the new pickleball courts! However, the rules have changed from open play to now numbered court play. Which sucks. Because if you choose say court number 1 ( put your paddle in the holder) Court 5 will open up but because you didn’t place your paddle there, you have to wait as long as 20 minutes for your chosen court to open. As with open play… it’s the first available court that opens up.Wish they would switch it back to OPEN PLAY
    Eric Bergstrom: ★★★
I came here specifically to check out the pickleball courts. However there were no pickleball courts. There were no tennis courts either. Everything is in disarray. Perhaps they're planning on refinishing the courts, but right now there's nothing to play on. Looks like a battle zone.
    Hayden Pham: ★★★
Not a good place to play drop-in pickleball. 7 courts but most people are doing their own thing and will not get off the court unless asked directly.
    Rebecca C: ★★★
Edison Park and Community Center is a large 39.69-acres park settled across the street from Edison High. There is accessible parking, a community center building, a playground area and a handful of amenities surrounded by a grassy area. 🚻 Restrooms 🐕 Bring your dogs 🧺 Benches for picnics or sitting. 🏞 Large Grass areas 🌳 Many Trees for shade 🚗 Parking on the street around the park or in the lots 💧 Water Fountain 🗑 Trash bins 🎾 Tennis Courts 🏀 Basketball Courts ⚾️ Baseball Diamonds ⚽️ Soccer Field 🚲 Trail or path thru the park 🛝 4 Playground Units The playground area is rather large sand area with rubber matting at the landings of the 2 newest playground units, with swings! There are 2 for infants and 2 full sized swings. The older red/ blue/ beige playground structures are surrounded by sand and intended for ages 2-5 and another for 5-12 years old. Both structures offer slides and stairs to run along. The playground structure intended for 5-12 years old offers some climbing ladders, monkey bars, 2 slides, an off-center spiral pole and Fireman Pole. There is also swings with 2 for infants and 2 full sized swings. Then there's the teal/ beige/ red/ blue playground structure on a rubber landing for 5-12 year olds. It offers some climbing ladders, monkey bars, 2 slides, an off-center spiral pole and Fireman Pole. There are many events held here including groups like the local Friends of Edison Park group which meets to keep the park tidy from volunteer efforts. Despite their efforts the park continues to need update and servicing and there tends to be vagrants living here. Tred carefully as you go. Otherwise its a great place to visit and get involved with the many offerings of the community! Check out HB Sands for more on what's available...

    Cecilia Barton: ★
This review rating is specifically for the 4 “dilapidated “ tennis courts in Edison park . These courts are an embarrassment. The wood shows rotted termite damage, surface of the two out of four courts that are available are slanted with cracks and holes, and the tennis court nets barely hang on the poles. The saddest part is over 5 years ago there were notices placed up in numerous areas stating the renovation of the tennis courts…….NOTHING. Yes the lights work but who wants to see that.
    Tony Alfiere: ★★
This review is based only on the 7 new pickleball courts..photo attached. The court is on pavement, and it is raw pavement with some minor bumps and imperfections/high or low spots. Very low fence surrounding the entire court area. Would be a cool place to learn but it isn't ideal. I am unsure why they did this. Pavement will destroy your shoes..its all pretty rough and frankly a waste of money.

we can use the restroom at 8:30 and would not let us In and we can see him
