UC Davis PICKLEBALL LEAGUE, 18+ years, Redwood Park.
This co-ed summer league will run 3 weeks for round-robin-style league play. Play will rotate as “winners against winners” and “non-winners against non-winners” with partners splitting after each game. Each players’ scores for the session will be calculated to produce a ranking within the group. Come meet new players and test your ability to play with them. Note: there are no refunds for adult sports leagues.
Beginner/Intermediate League: $20.

PICKLEBALL CLINICS – BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, 18+ years, Redwood Park.
Beginner clinics are an introduction course for players who are new to pickleball and are looking to learn how to play. The focus is to learn the basic fundamentals of pickleball. In this course, a professional instructor will teach participants how to serve, return, sustain volleys, general rules, scoring and more. The level of this course is designed for players in the 2.0 to 3.0 rating range. Intermediate clinic is for players who have played pickleball before and are looking to sharpen their skills, learn technique, strategies and deepen their knowledge of the game. In this course, a professional instructor will teach participants higher level strategies and concepts. The level of this course is designed for players in the 3.0 to 4.0 rating range. Note: there are no refunds for adult sports leagues.
Beginner/Intermediate Clinics: $70.

PICKLEBALL COURTS ETIQUETTE

• Public courts are a shared space!
• When all courts are in use (including Chalked Courts with any temporary nets), and there are players waiting for court space:
• Rotate waiting play onto all courts as games end.
• If your group is playing “open“ please invite the waiting players to join
• 1 to 4 players at a time, as appropriate.
• If your group is playing as a “closed” group, rotate off and back on after each game in your turn.
• If you have brought your own net please realize that the above rules still apply to the public court space you are playing on. (thank you for sharing your net)
• If you are a “single” waiting player feel free to join as you are invited to play with groups that are playing “open”.
• If you are a “group” waiting to play please follow the above rules.
• Please be respectful of everyone’s rights to play!
