This park has a huge grassy lawn for sports. It is really ready to go for soccer with ample goals, just get them unlocked... There is a parking lot as well as plenty of street parking. There are bathrooms on sight too. There is not much shade here at the field and play structure, so bring hats and sun screen. Nice wide bike/walking path along park. Around the bend where the art butterfly thingy is, there is a dog exercise area, please clean up after your dog... Also, a volleyball sand court. Several picnic tables are nestled under the trees here. Lots of shade and a cool Delta breeze. Also, at the far end are 2 play structures that are a lot of fun! This I a nice quiet large park, another gem in Davis.

Great park which most of the time sits empty. The City of Davis should charge a fee to businesses such as Recology and local landscaping companies which comprise the majority of heavy daily use & wear & tear on the park bathroom in order to offset the costs of cleaning & restocking it multiple times daily. (That should help pay for damages caused by the crank/crackheads too.) Also, it's pretty lame that the bathroom is locked sundown to sunup, i.e. roughly 12 hours per day. Fix the bathroom issue(s) & it gets 5 stars. Note: Purportedly the City of Davis plans to build a new library smack dab in the middle of this beautiful resource (pictured)...because why? Who uses libraries with the advent of the internet? Yeah, nobody does, lol.

Delicious chicken with the best fries and bread I've ever had (at a fast food place). There's usually a long line at the drive thru, but for good reason!!! Employees are respectful and friendly and the restaurant and parking lot are clean and maintained

This is a big park with a little bit of everything. The fields are sunny and the picnic area is shady. Lots of tables and grills. One playground that's part of the adjacent school, another near the center, and a third on the opposite end. Several large soccer fields but they are reserved during a certain time of year. About 6 tennis courts and 1 sand volleyball court (with net). There are basketball hoops at the school. Parking is not often a problem. They have several parking lots and there is access from all the surrounding streets.
