16 lighted tennis courts with shaded benches in Marya Welch Tennis Center in Davis, California. Home to UC Davis Men’s and Women’s tennis program. Free courts in very good condition. Tennis courts are available to the public, including students, staff, faculty and community members. There are restrooms, lighting, meeting facilities, and spectator seating for viewing all 16 courts.
The lights automatically turn off at 10 PM however you can turn them on with the little box on each court.
Tennis center accommodates joint men’s and women’s matches as well as major NCAA tournaments.

Davis Tennis Club Drop-In Tennis Sessions

• The format is primarily doubles, though singles play may occur depending on attendance.
• Play follows a rotating format with shorter “sets,” allowing for partner changes.
• Sessions take place in all weather conditions, except during rain.
• While the organizer may not always be present, regular participants typically facilitate the games.
• All genders and skill levels are welcome, but these sessions are best suited for players who can maintain a rally.
• Recommended for players with skill levels between 2.5 and 3.5, although all genders and levels are welcome.
• No email reminders are sent—simply show up on the designated days.

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Davis Tennis Club is temporarily playing at the UC Davis Tennis Courts (Marya Welch Tennis Center).
While player ability levels are recommended, the sessions are flexible and welcoming to all.
Additionally, Dale Hersch offers affordable clinics for beginners.
Scheduled return date to the High School/Community Park Courts is Tuesday, July 15^th.
