Wonderful start to my tennis journey! Visiting Irvine for the summer I decided at 62 yrs old to learn tennis (after putting aside squash after some years). We've had a wonderful experience with Woodbridge Tennis Academy! When my son first started, he had zero tennis experience but thanks to the coaches' excellent teaching techniques, he quickly learned how to rally and hit the ball forward and back with confidence. The progress was amazing to watch! Scheduling was always smooth and flexible, Ben was prompt and responsive whenever we needed to book or reschedule a class. We had the pleasure of working with Coach Nana and Coach Hooman, both of whom are outstanding. They are patient, professional, and truly passionate about teaching kids. I highly recommend this tennis school to anyone in Orange County, it's hands down the best around!

tl,dr: Would be a great place to play pickleball, if it weren't so crowded on weeknights. Likes: + I like coming here to play pickleball with friends. 4 good courts with a 6' tall fence dividing 2 from the other 2. + They have restrooms and a water refill station. + They have a bench for spectators at every pball court. Non-likes: - tbh 4 pball courts isn't enough. We need hundreds more in SoCal. Eight more at Woodbridge Tennis Academy would be really nice. - The man's restroom is locked. At least the other one's open. - Only one overall entrance/exit into these courts. Since the 4 pball courts are all the way at the end, it's sort of a long walk back to your car.

I found Woodbridge Tennis Academy online and saw that they offered adult tennis classes. Charles, the owner, is so friendly and was available to set me up with my first class with Coach Nana, even working around my busy schedule. I enjoy this class a lot because there is a lot of instruction and opportunities to challenge myself, including focusing on my form and weaker backhand shots. I feel so lucky to have found a tennis class this close to my home!
