A great park for families and their pets. Great place to have a birthday party or picnic or barbecue. There's a lot of tables that have overhead shade what could be better!
Robert Preciado: ★★★★★

The sports park is a little misleading. It's limited to the skate park, the little league field, by the street, and the larger field next to the tennis courts that doubles as a soccer field for AYSO on weekends. The entire "sports complex" is really part of Bonita High School and are not publicly accessible, particularly the football field and track. The tennis courts are locked sometimes. The entire "complex" is locked during school hours; the fields are heavily used by the high school sports teams between 3pm-9pm, almost daily as expected for a busy high school. The public access side of the park is on the side of the olympic pool behind the high school in La Flores Park. This pool has specific hours of operations and is seasonal for public access, but it is heavily used year-round, being shared by the City Gators swim group, Bonita High School Athletics, and University of La Verne Athletics. The school district or the city (probably the City, to be honest), should be honest about this field and stop the dillusions about the field as a "sports complex" and call it "Bonita High School."
