Lemon Grove Pickleball

Lemon Grove Beginner Pickleball and Social Club meets at 3131 School Ln every Saturday from 9:30 am – 11:30 am. Pickleball group organizes monthly socials and quarterly backyard parties. The group gathers only once a week, and courts do not fill up even though its free. Beginners and intermediate players welcome. They have equipment and they will teach you how to play!

Saturday mornings only at 3131 School Lane behind the Recreation center: 9:30 am – 11:30 am.

• 4 free courts you can currently play without waiting most weeks.
• very little wait time!
• there’s enough space between courts to not be constantly having other people’s balls come in like you do at La Mesita or Collier, ect.
• there’s no tennis lines that interfere!! You’re not getting fooled by a rogue tennis court line
• people play there every week!! Beginner and intermediate player levels.
• the community buys balls and paddles for anyone wanting to try it out. Lessons are given to anyone who schedules them.
• music is played between courts.

There are no fences that keep balls in. There are ball containers by the courts. No running is needed to go get rogue balls. Players who are taking breaks refill the coffers so you never have to go far for balls.

The lack of shade: One of the community members brings a tent with misters!! It’s a great way to hang with other pickleballers and deepen your connections. If Its a really hot day it’s better to wait before you come. Check out the weather report before you head over.
