Play time for courts at Eastwood Park:
Monday through Friday: 8-AM until dusk
Weekends and Holidays: 9 AM to Dusk

PICKLE BALL/TENNIS COURT RULES & POLICIES

1. Paid lessons must be sponsored by TCSD.
2. No paid lessons allowed on Friday thru Sunday and Holidays.
3. Paid lessons only allowed Monday thru Thursday, subject to availability.
4. Court time 1 hour for singles and doubles for both tennis and pickleball (if people waiting).
5. Pickleball/Tennis hours are 9am to dusk on weekends and holidays (State & Federal).
6. Pickleball/Tennis hours are 8am to dusk on weekdays.
7. Free play only on Friday- Sunday and holidays (no tournaments, lessons, no reservations).
8. Please follow pickleball etiquette for open play if people are waiting (i.e., waiting players rotate in after two games).
9. Proof of reservation responsibility of user (we will try to post lesson schedule on boards).
10. Instructors will be responsible for ensuring and monitoring that their students park in the parking lots and other spaces adjacent to Eastwood Park (e.g., Northern Ave) to minimize the impact to the neighborhood. Students should be encouraged to move their cars from the street to the parking lot when spaces become available.
11. Court Lesson Policy- 75%/25% split of lesson revenues.
    a. Instructor receives 75%.
    b. TCSD receives 25%.
    c. Instructor signs up all students.
    d. Applies to both tennis and pickleball.
    e. Instructor must have a written agreement with TCSD.
12. No animals allowed on the court (service animals permitted).
13. No wheels or other sports activities allowed.
14. Players must wear non-marking athletic shoes.
15. Hang racquet on peg board to reserve next available court.
16. When a court becomes available, all players must be present to occupy the court.
17. Please be courteous to those who are waiting.
18. Please no excessive noise, residential area.

EASTWOOD PARK TENNIS AND PICKLE BALL COURT RULES

• Absoutely NO wheels or other sport activities on the courts.
• Animals are not permitted on the courts.
  Players must wear non-marking athletic shoes.
• Time limits (this includes warm up time:
  Singles – 1 hour
  Doubles – 1-1/2 hours
• Please be courteous to those who are waiting.
• Hang your racquet on the Peg Board to reserve the next available court
• We ask Tennis players occupying the Pickle Ball court to move to the Tennis dedicated court available if there is a Pickle Ball player waiting.
• When a court becomes available, all players must be present to occupy the court
• The court may be used for paid lessons only with written
  permission by the district.
• Please, no excessive noise – this is a residential area

PARKING
There are only 6 Regular and one Handicapped Parking Spaces.
Carpooling or biking to the courts is encouraged. Note that street parking is limited.
There is additional parking in the main Eastwood Parking lot half a block away.
Please be respectful of others in this quiet residential neighborhood.

Please Note: Eastwood Park reservations are not for the whole park, they only include the picnic table area near the playground.

RENTAL RATES
Tam Valley resident: $30 per hour
Tam Valley non-profits: $30 per hour
Non-residents/Commercial: $44 per hour
Non Tam Valley non-profits/public agencies: $38 per hour
The maximum number of people per rental is 30, including children, with a maximum of 12 cars. Each rental has a 2-hour minimum.

PLEASE NOTE

• Jumpee Houses are NOT permitted
• Food Trucks are NOT permitted at TCSD's Parks including the parking lots and adjacent street parking.
• Generators are NOT permitted
• Group and organized sports are NOT permitted
• Amplified music is NOT permitted before 9:00am and after 8:00pm and must not disturb neighbors.
• ONE RESERVATION PER DAY

DOG RULES
Rules for Off Leash Dogs

• Your dog is your responsibility. You must carry a leash at all times.
• Please show consideration for other park users and ensure that your dog does not disrupt their enjoyment of the park.
• Please keep an eye on your dog(s) at all times. Maintain voice control and don’t leave your dog unattended. No more than 3 dogs per human supervisor.
• Please avoid conflicts with humans and other dogs. Dogs showing signs of aggression must leave immediately.
• Be extra careful when children are present, as they may not be familiar with dog behavior. No dogs in the play structure area.
• Please help keep our park clean and in good condition for all. Clean up after your dog and dispose of waste in trash. Do not allow your dog to dig or damage the lawn or planted areas.
