This is an amazing sports park with everything you could need to have fun with the kids. There is a full size soccer field with synthetic turf that has little rubber pellets underneath it. There are three full size baseball fields that are usually unoccupied but do require approval in order to use them. There is a really cool playground for the kids that includes a obstacle course style rope maze where kids can climb from one end to the other. There's also nice hiking trails around the sports park. This park is right next to the North plunge which is a pool for residents only. At that location there are four tennis courts and a couple of pickleball courts as well. This facility was completed in August of 2020 and is a great spot to hang out if you're in the area.

Really nice sports park with great views and a clean, welcoming vibe. The fields are in great shape, and there are plenty of spots to sit and relax. There are a few small trees that actually provide a decent amount of shade. The restrooms were clean and seemed to be checked regularly. There’s a fun playground for kids and a soccer/football field with synthetic grass. I just wish the snack bar had more food options, nachos, hot dogs, or even some warm meals would be a great addition!
Kell Bell: ★★★★★

A very good and safe place for children.
Randall Van Beek: ★★★★★
Very nice sports Park. Still relatively new. Playground: Nice play area for children not involved in sports. Clean and well maintained. Restrooms: Restrooms were clean and well stocked.
Bill Brick: ★★★★
Very nice community park with various sports and playground equipment available. They should have their restrooms unlocked for visitors, currently locked, requiring a special key card to access. Not sure that is even legal for a public park.
Living In Orange County: ★★★★★
This sports Park was recently built and is located in the Rancho Mission Viejo community. The amenities are terrific. This is one of the few new areas in South Orange County where there are new houses being built at many different price points.
joseph seguin: ★★★★★
Well kept and great layout of fields. No basketball courts though.
Luqman Malik: ★★★★★
Great baseball fields. The rest are so clean, feels like a 5 star hotel restroom.
Doug O: ★★★★★
Beautiful new sports park. RMV is a paradise!
Karen c: ★★★★★
This is a very beautiful clean, and well-laid out sports park. Playground: Small, but more for siblings who can watch ballgames and play in playground area. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome on leash and must stay off the playing fields. There are walkways to walk your dog, and they have poop bag stations and water fountains for dogs.
Jennifer Moorhead: ★★★★★

I took my 2 young grandsons to enjoy playing some whiffleball. I am handicapped and parked my NEV in the parking lot in a handicapped parking space. I walked with all of our equipment and snacks etc to the snack bar area only to find 2 NEV vehicles parked on the sidewalk. Apparently belonging to families practicing youth football. Then a family arrived with baseball equipment and proceeded to the far end of the soccer field. with a bucket full of hardballs and began taking batting practice. Since there was no apparent security or other official oversight, violations of park rules continued including dogs running around not on leashes or being allowed on the soccer turf, which also is prohibited. As a resident of Esencia and RMV I pay for the use and upkeep of this beautiful facility.

A lot of money went into this park. Seems like soccer is the red headed step child. No close parking, and located all the way in the back. Could have been planned better.
