We stayed in the main building and our unit was recently remodeled so it was very nice. We loved being within walking distance of the downtown shops and restaurants. The tennis court and gym are very well maintained. The few minor issues with the stove and garbage disposal were fixed immediately with the friendly maintenance man, Manny.. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Free EV car chargers was a plus
Niecole Cardenas: ★★★★★
It was great to get away !! Palm Springs tennis club was great. They have so many amenities and you are definitely in walking distance of the nightlife. There are quite a lot of older people there but they cater to young people too. It was great. The service was great. The amenities were great loved the partial kitchen and loved being able to barbecue while we sat in the hot tub, that was amazing. I give them 5+ stars must see for people who aren’t really really young! I would’ve brought my children here when they were younger they catered to all!!! Rooms: We had a great suite with the kitchenette, big bathtub. Great water pressure it had all the amenities to barbecue or cook or just be a lazy and go over to Spencer’s. Nearby activities: We did the Thursday night downtown fest, which was called Village fest. Walkability: Walkable to downtown Palm Springs was great. Noteworthy details: Sitting in the hot tub while you barbecue or you can play ping-pong while you barbecue.

We absolutely love the Palm Springs Tennis Club! It has a ton of charm, and although some of the rooms could use a bit of updating (some already are updated), the grounds are impeccably kept, and we have found every room we have stayed in to be cozy, spacious, and homey. We love that there are multiple pools and hot tubs on the property as we never have a hard time finding a quiet spot to relax. The location is also stunningly beautiful, situated right next to the mountain where we have occasionally seen long horn sheep, and it is walking distance to the downtown area with tons of great shops and restaurants. This property has quickly become a home away from home for us pair of 30/40-something Canadians!
Chris Tina Thorsgard: ★★★★★
The sheer ambiance of this gorgeous resort is beyond words. What a dream come true~an experience of a lifetime! I was honored to have the opportunity to be there. The rooms were absolutely immaculate. Also, the staff was friendly and very helpful. What a phenomenal place Palm Springs Tennis Club is!
Tyler Lund: ★★★★
If you are under 60, you may also be the youngest person staying here, but the rooms are nice, the location is convenient, and the amenities are nice. The parking garages had ample parking space and meant our car wasn’t an oven when we departed. The staff at check in was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and fairly modern if not a little small. Most importantly, the air conditioning and wifi worked very well, critical in an area with very hot days and poor cellular reception. The bathrooms aren’t exceptionally nice, but they are adequate. Access to the gym and tennis courts is quite nice and one of the better reasons for staying here. It’s also incredibly quiet as it is just far enough away from the main street. Most of the attractions in town are very close by.
Andrew Robbins: ★★★★★
Beautiful little apartments to stay in. Kitchen is very minimal. Our one bedroom had a 2 stove burner, no oven. I was able to cook a meal, with some difficulty, but the living space, bedroom, and bathroom are good. The pools are nice too. If you are a casual tennis player, make sure to look at their dress code first. It's nice!

We wanted to thank Ernie Perez (Chief Engineer) from the Palm Springs Tennis Club for his assistance and generosity. On Friday January 5, we went to start our adventure for the day around 9am. Alarmingly, our vehicle would not start. We went to the front desk to ask for assistance for a battery jumper or jumper cables. They phoned in to maintenance for assistance. Ernie and his partner came to our assistance offering jumper cables and assistance. The jumper cables didn't fix the issue, so Ernie offered to call AAA for assistance. Approx 30 minutes later, AAA arrived and fixed the problem within 5 minutes. Ernie truly went out of his way to assist us. Our way and vacation went on without any other problems. Our day could have been a whole lot worse if Ernie hadn't helped us. Thank you Ernie!
Juan Cerda: ★★★★★
The room was very nice, larger and better than I expected. Very clean, quiet and, secluded. Turned out to be a corner unit with a private entrance and patio and its own parking spot steps away from our patio. It was like a small condo with 2 tv's, a small kitchen/ living room and 1 private bedroom. Not much of a view from my window but fairly decent from the patio. Just watch out for mosquitos. The A/C worked without any issues. The resort is a type of adult retirement getaway which I enjoyed because there were no kids. Which was exactly what I was hoping for, just peace and quiet. They have several small pools but we ended up at the larger adult pool which always had clean chairs and towels. If you like Tennis, the tennis courts were always available. They have a pool table, and bicycles to get around. Saw a lot of old people, they were friendly enough, and they all minded their own business. The resort is strategically close to everything. Nothing was more than a 10 minute drive. The museum, the shopping strip, the casino, food, are all within walking distance if you don't mind the heat. The staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, and respectful never overwhelming. Noone trying to sell you something like at most resorts. I will be coming back.
David McIntyre: ★★★★★
I think the bungalows at the PS Tennis Club are my new favourite place to stay. A very comfortable, quiet piece of history. Maybe not quite the luxury of the big name resorts we have dated at in the past but I loved it!
Gregory or Jules: ★★★★★
I spent a week at the tennis club during COVID. The restaurant was closed until further notice, they were only allowed to have so many guest's staying at the club fso there weren't alot of people and many suites were vacant. I was told because of COVID-19 the housekeepers wouldn't be entering the suites to leave used towels and sheets outside the door and there would be clean replacements left in there place. Trash wás to be left there as well. The suite was spacious beautifully decorated there was a full kitchen with everything needed to prepare any kind of meal. The AC wás good and easy to turn on and off. The bedroom was a surprise it was enormous with two king sized beds with lounge dressers dressing room, two immaculately clean baths. Being that i was there during the virus outbreak service there wás not what it normally would have been. The setting for Palm Springs Tennis Club is breathtaking. At night with all the outdoor lighting strategically placed, it looked magical. Given the history of the club, l was fascinated by all the many framed photos stars from the Golden age of Hollywood adorning the walls of the main building. The snack room had coffee available mornings and the laundry room is adjacent to it, so one can plug in a laptop while waiting for clothes, snack machines beverage's available too. The desk representative's we're most friendly as were the handsome maintenance man. All in all I absolutely loved staying at this beautiful resort, grounds were gorgeous, the mountain side jetting down against the buildings, visually spectacular. I'm going to have to rare Palm Springs Tennis Club as 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. The bold stone wall running the complete length of the suite really made me happy being that I love architecture. I left there thinking I wish I could call that suite my home, it was that perfect. Recommending the Resort to anyone who has never been. You won't be sorry for choosing PSTC it's unique, very special and extremely beautiful!

We've been staying here for 30+ years. The front desk staff are courteous & very helpful. The Davis suites are great for week-long visits. We always enjoy the free tennis clinic and the gym is top notch.

Fantastic place to stay in Palm Springs. We are here for a few days in a studio it is modern trendy and perfect for a long or short getaway. Great modern decor in the rooms with excellent comfy king, cooking facilties, refrigerator etc. Beautiful patio with views of Frye 2 home built into the mountain. Wonderful indoor /outdoor grills to cook up a storm, quite reading areas, pools, spa, gym, tennis and much more! Night-time staff very friendly. Walking distance to shopping and dining. Spencers next door and a must eat at restaurant.
Ward Kirby: ★★★★★
My wife and I had a big misconception as to what to expect from the town. The Tennis Club was a great place to stay. The staff are very nice and genially want to provide a positive stay. Highly recommend having a meal at Spencer’s the onsite restaurant. There are several pools close to each condo with an adult only pool next to the Tennis facility. One thing that was nice we received several mid-week offers for maid service and a mid-week gift box with snacks. I cannot speak to the hotel portion of the resort I would highly recommend a stay in the condos.
Garrett Gawne: ★★★★★
The tennis clubs is in a great location, walking distance from downtown. There is a great restaurant in the club, Spencers, with a world class menu. The rooms were very nice for an extended stay and clean. I visited in October so the weather was perfect.
Randy Negrette: ★★★★★
Sunday morning Brunch in the outdoor patio under huge Ficus Trees. We chose from the Preset Lunch menu, Glass of Champagne, Coffee, 6 main choices to choose, from Eggs Benedict, Vegetable Fritata, Chicken, Salmon Salad and more, Bowl of Soup or Salad and Desert. Excellent Deal, reasonably priced. Reservations suggested, Excellent friendly, professional staff and waiters. Old School Palm Springs charm at the Tennis Club.
James Echols: ★★★★★
Great classic tennis club . Quiet rooms, close to exceptional cuisine. Mountain views and serenity.
Bert Quesada: ★★★★
Nice place very clean, ample rooms, tennis, pools, gym, washer and dryer general room, pingpong table, Jacuzzis, parking, the works
Michel Poulin: ★★★★★
Fantastic resort with multiple pools and jaccuzzis, a great gym with a variety of machines, tennis courts. Resort is within walking distance to several hiking trails and restaurants/shops. Several units in the main building have been renovated and have a cozy / modern feel. Resort provides road bikes free of charge which is a unique perk for those who wish to maximize their outdoor experience in Palm Springs. The City's free weekend shuttle (the Buzz) passes right in front of the resort which makes weekend outings more convenient.
Raymond Enix: ★★★★★
I've owned here for 30 years. And I STILL love the place! They keep the rooms & amenities updated & the tennis courts are 1st class! No better place to enjoy the US Open. Well, other than Flushing Meadows!! ;-D
Tom Ayers: ★★★★
Pretty and tucked away from main road traffic at the base of the mountain. The services, to include valet parking and restaurant are exceptional. Street parking can be a bit of an annoyance, but not a significant detraction. Highly recommended for the tennis players and sight-seers.
Janice: ★★★★★
The Palm Springs Tennis Club is next to the hottest restaurant in town, Spencer's, and is a short distance to Palm Spring's downtown action.
Loretta: ★★★★★
I recently stayed April 8,9 this month I enjoyed the pool there’s an adult pool and two others I stood near the smaller pool with my grandkids, the rooms are clean , I’m an owner at Tahiti village in Las Vegas I was there last month on the 19 th the room was dirty the room isn’t vacuumed thoroughly, we had trouble with the remote control several times but the tennis club was awesome. We walked to Ben and Jerry’s for ice cream 10 min

We loved Palm Springs Tennis club. Great location, excellent service. We will definitely go back there.

This was my most memorable trip to Palm Springs for many reasons and one being the decision to stay at the Palm Springs Tennis Club. Our villa came complete with a full kitchen/2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms/huge closet space/patio. Their restaurant Spencer's offered a delectable Greek Salad that I enjoyed eating whilst listening to a live piano performance. I happen to like Neutrogena products so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw they supplied our bathrooms with their shampoo/facewash/body lotion. Looking forward to returning next year for the Intl Foreign Film Festival.
Dawson Jorgensen: ★★★★
Really beautiful. It sucks that recreation like pool and foosball in the lounge costs money and it is a wild goose chase to get to the fitness room and the tennis court. But if that is not what you are there for then it is good to stay at.
Linda M: ★★★★★
Such a beautful peaceful place. The grounds are meticulously groomed and the bungalows are nicely decorated. I recommend Palm Springs Tennis Club for the mature traveler.
britt dixon: ★★★★
While this property has been in Palm Springs for decades the buildings are well maintained and the grounds are immaculate. The club rules might be a bit overbearing for some but welcomed by others. Proper tennis attire on the courts and such. The pools and hot tub close at night. While I would prefer them to be open 24 hours I guess this insures there aren't any ruckus parties late into the night. Although I must admit I doubt that keeping them open would be a problem. The Palm Springs Tennis Club doesn't attract a ruckus crowd. It is very quiet and relaxing. Walking distance to down town Palm Springs you can park your car for the entire time you're there if you wish. To the owner of Palm Springs Tennis Club. You are most welcome for the review. To answer your question; to earn five stars you could relax the court dress rules a bit. Sure, no one wants to see cut off jeans and ratty tee shirts on the court, but sports attire that's clean and in good repair while not strictly meeting "tennis attire" should be allowed. People like myself who don't play tennis on a regular basis want to go out an buy entire outfits just for an occasional game. One other thing I would like to see is 24 hour pool and hot tub access. While I agree there should be quiet hours at the pool and hot tub. A quiet swim or soak in the late evening or early morning would be a nice option. I understand there will be times to close both the pool and hot tub for cleaning and such. But you could have them open all the other times.

The hotel is in two parts, the suites are on the other side of the street in a very wooded garden. There are two pools one family and one quiet, in this part. The swimming pool for adults (very large) is located towards the tennis club, you have to cross the street and pass in front of the restaurant ‘Spencer’, it is close by. This place is very very nice because there is a lot of shade and no problem of deckchairs, they are in number, towels available on site (a little worn or even torn but useful). The suite is comfortable, the volumes large, c is a classic but well made renovation, very well equipped kitchen, two terraces including one without opposite. I was embarrassed by the smell (closed) at first but that did not prevent me from enjoying the place. Note laundry room with enough machines and free. Average welcome except a helpful gentleman. Loan of free bikes but impossible to pay for them. If I go back to Palm Springs without hesitation I return to the PSTC.
thorstenq: ★★★★★
The historic tennis club is a large complex of bungalows and hotels. Between the bungalows, small paths wind through a well-kept garden with palm trees, pools and spa areas, in addition to the eponymous tennis courts. The pools are very nice - there is both an adult pool and a pool for families. We had a relatively large bungalow that was very clean but still sprayed some 80s charm. The furniture, however, was in very good condition. Some rooms of the complex are probably also completely modernized, but it is probably a coincidence whether you get an older or a newer room. The complex also includes permanent tenants or Club members; generally, the atmosphere seemed very family-friendly and relaxed. The quiet location on the edge of Palm Springs, right in front of a huge rock face, is great; the city center is still only a few minutes away. The only drawback was the somewhat listless welcome - here you could be even more accommodating. Nevertheless: Overall a great bargain; you get a lot of living quality for little money.

Been coming here since I was a kid and recently brought my new baby for a family reunion. It's time for some upgrades! Rooms are nice and location is great but can't compete with other hotels in the area. This is a family hotel it NEEDS stoller and wheelchair ramps. My grandpa can't make it up the stairs or down the hill to the elevator. Check in is later and there is no house keeping, hot tubs were down, no crib to borrow (the Hilton had a portable crib they wheeled to your room) and no breakfast of any kind. Much cheaper hotel down the street had an amazing breakfast each morning for 10 dollars a person. Keep up tennis club you have some competition now! Staff could be more helpful, had to beg for towels and a garbage bag and you could be a little more flexible with check in/out. ✔️

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE Old, dark, dingy, loud appliances that make it impossible to sleep. Staff are rude, unapproachable and unwelcoming. We stayed there for the sole purpose of playing tennis and were denied access for hours to courts and told they were “wet”. Once completely dry they still would not let us play ruining our day. While we waited for 2 hours beside a dry court we went onto the court to take a photo and then were told we were trespassing and asked to leave the facility and told we were not able to play for the remainder of our stay. This was a 6 woman girls trip. Completely ruined our holiday. The woman who is the tennis director and the general manager of the hotel should be replaced. Do not stay here. It was a complete waste of thousands of dollars in travel and a horrible experience.

We’ve been coming here for almost 30 years and we are so done with it. We have a timeshare here. It’s very difficult to book a week since snowbirds come and book for 2-4 months at a time and take up the units available to us. The folks at the check in/reception are always terrible. They aren’t helpful and are somewhat nasty. The WiFi is substandard and not usable. The units themselves always have issues with something broken or non functional. We have listed our timeshare for sale. We like having access to the tennis courts and tennis desk but we can be members there without having to stay here. Also, no dogs allowed.

My room wasn't ready until 5 pm when check in was suppose to be at 3 pm. On the checkout date I asked for a later check out but was turned down and had to leave by 11am. I had requested a room away from the tennis courts but was given a room on the tennis courts. The staff has no training in hospitality and seem just like a clerk in any business. I stayed there for four days and didn't get a single room cleaning service, their reply is because of Covid we don't enter rooms but they pack over 100 people into their restaurant without a mask. I travel frequently and don't have room service issues anywhere else. They told me to put the dirty sheets and towels and trash can outside of my door and someone will empty the trash and give me new towels, but it didn't happen because they forgot to tell me I have to call the housekeeping to come and get it and they had already left for the day. I had to reuse the dirty sheets.

The room looks really nice, but the front desk is awful. We came late at night 1:20am after driving from LA, and wern’t able to check in because the person who was supposed to work that shift didn’t show up. The security guard let us know he was as surprised as us that no one from the tennis club was there and that there was nothing he could do (completely understand), he also didn't even have a phone number for us to call. If the rest of my family didn’t have a second unit we would have had to drive home to LA, rent a second hotel or sleep in our car. When trying to check in the next morning the man at the front desk was rude. When checking in we explained our situation about trying to check in at around 1:30 am to which he actually corrected us and said “it was 1:20am” as if that made it better some how? After that he gave us problems signing into the room despite the registered guest calling the prior night authorizing us to check in. I told him I’d make a phone call to get things sorted out. I then go back up to the front desk only to be ignored by him until I finally had my family in the other unit call the front desk. We finally got our room and asked for directions, to which he said it’s on the second floor, to which I ask where on the second floor? To which he points up, I again reiterate my question as I am aware where a 2nd floor is located but not the specific room and asked if it’s on the right side of the hotel (as if looking from the street) to which he replied yes... upon looking at a resort map, which we were given by my family and not the front desk, we discovered the room was in fact on the opposite side of the building. Overall we were unable to checkin without unnecessary attitude and received NO apology for being stranded in the middle of the night despite them having someone scheduled to be there! As mentioned previously we didn’t even receive a resort map, or WiFi info sheet which are uploaded to be given at check in, the way the whole interaction went it feels like this was done on purpose. I’m not even upset with not being able to check in at 1:20am, I’m upset with the attitude we received and the lack of an apology. Maybe it’s because we are in our mid 20’s and clearly not the average guest but really, is the customer service usually this bad??? Last time I checked you don’t pay resort prices to receive motel 6 service, though to be honest, the motel 6 in Victorville does has better customer service...

The hotel is disgusting. We have crickets, raoch, caterpillar and some other insects inside our room. Everyday is either a different kind of insect or thesame. We don't leave our door or windows open so I don't know where it is coming from. This is just disgusting and unacceptable. I tried calling the front desk but it's giving me the busy tone. We are still here and I don't know what else to do with this place. My kids got bug bites here. My wife had a cricket close to her head last night. Unbelievable. Never experienced this before. Find a different place if you can. The tennis court is great though. Didn't try Spencer's as they want you to have an appt all the time and I don't want to waste my time doing that. The pools here need cleaning everyday. The pathway is not clean all the time and that is because of all the trees around the hotel..which is normal. Can't expect them to clean every minute. Either way, I am not coming back here that's for sure. I only went here because they have a high rating in RCI...apparently they're wrong.
