The city has just completed a temporary site during the construction project at the College of the Desert satellite campus, located at the intersection of E. Baristo Road and South Hermosa Drive in Palm Springs. There are 12 courts, and they are now officially open!

Pickleball courts will be open from 7 a.m. to dusk, Monday through Sunday. There are no lights at this location, so there will be no evening play after dark. Beware of coyote, they are sometimes spotted on the campus. There will be no bathroom access and parking is restricted to along public streets and not in the College of the Desert parking lot. These temporary courts are adjacent to residences, so please keep noise level to a minimum.

Very cool professors and awesome main campus! Watch out for parking because you do need to purchase a pass for every semester.
Clare MacCarley: ★★★★★
Great school, but they need more signs on their buildings!! It’s sooo difficult to find where you’re supposed to be. It’s an ocean of concrete and everything looks the same.
Jeremiah Payne: ★★★★
Great program. Almost anyone can get free tuition, veteran and active duty friendly. Thanks to college of the desert staff, I on my way to an associates. Dream big people!
Michael M: ★★★★
A nice and large flea market on Saturdays and sundays. Many different things to look at, arts and crafts and even some food. And it's free. Nice!

As a temporary pickleball solution, while demuth park is being renovated, the courts were fine. The problem is, there is no restroom, and that is a major problem. It's surprises me that a porta potty wasn't a temporarily put there. If they can do it for construction sites, I don't understand why they couldn't do it for this.
