Being on a tennis team I get to travel to several tennis courts. ECCTA is located on the Helix High School Campus. They have about 12 tennis courts, 8 of they are in really good shape. They are well maintained and are opened to the public during the day. They offer tennis lessons for children and adults through out the year and sponsor several tournaments. No pro shop or locker rooms only public restroom which are locked most of the time. (Select members have keys to the restroom and office) if they happen to be playing tennis while you are there they will unlock the restrooms for you.

I took a few private lessons with Shatoo, and can't say enough good things about her coaching and demeanor. Shatoo is an aspiring tennis player, she is knowledgeable, supportive, personable and fun. She helped my game with good instructions. I saw her coaching young children, college student, and adults, sometimes together with Walter from the same association. The ECCTA has access to two tennis facilities - one in Grossmont College (beautiful setting and excellent quality courts); the other in Helix Highschool, also with good amenities. Highly recommended.
