Best Tennis courts in Glendale, Los Angeles County for 2026

1 tennis court in Maple Park in Glendale, California. No lights. Court is in thick shade from the trees. Court surface in decent condition. A nice sized park with a neat castle themed playground, tennis courts, and outdoor fitness equipment. Plenty of shaded seating areas near the playground. Make sure to check if the community center is open before you go as it seems to have odd hours. Open until 10 pm. There are restrooms available and those are usually clean and usable. 

Please note: No parking on Friday until 11 AM on side surrounding the park! Parking is a challenge as the lot is small and street parking is sometimes limited.

Tennis Court Rules

• When others are waiting:
  • Waiting players must remain inside the desired court (courts cannot be held by one person alone).
  • Courts occupied by doubles players must be surrendered to waiting players after 45 minutes.
  • Courts occupied by singles or rallying players must be surrendered to waiting players after 30 minutes.
  • Metered courts must be surrendered to waiting players at the end of the current light period.
• Courts must be used for tennis play only.
• Tennis shoes must be worn.
• The Community Services & Parks Department may grant permits for special events, tournaments, camps, or Department instruction. When these permits are issued, the courts must be surrendered to the permit holder for the length of time designated on the permit.
• Skateboards, scooters, or other coasting, rolling or wheeled devices are prohibited.
• No dogs on the courts.
• Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, smoking, vaping, and marijuana products are prohibited.
• No glass bottles, containers, or object.
• The Community Services & Parks Department shall interpret all rules.

Maple Park Community Center

An Activity Card enables an individual to participate in drop-in activities, such as: basketball, volleyball, and other drop-in programs. Activity Cards are free for youth. Adults 18 years of age and older are required to pay a fee of $25.00 per year.
